Springfield Nursing Home

This is the second time I have been here following an operation on my leg I came here in June 2018 until September and again in September 2019 until November 2019 and again I have been treated with the most care and respect as I did last year. It has been a joy to meet the original employees who greeted me like an old friend. I would highly recommend to anyone.

My stay at Springfield Nursing Home has been excellent. Patient care has been wonderful. Everything satisfactory.

I found my stay to be a positive experience. The staff without exception were welcoming, caring and inclusive. The personal care was given with respect for dignity at all times. Independence was encouraged as was the gentle nudging to join in the activities or opt-out. Visitors were always welcomed and offered a drink during their visit. It was a joy that my dogs could visit regularly. The pat dogs visit were also lovely.

A satisfactory stay with friendly staff and a caring attitude to the residents.

On arriving at Springfield and received a warm welcome, and there was a comfortable happy atmosphere throughout my stay. The staff enjoyed coming to work which boosted the well-being of the patient and led to speeding recovery. All levels of staff worked together well.

Looked after extremely well in all aspects. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean surroundings and a lovely garden. A great help in getting me mobile and back to good health.

My elderly friend was admitted from hospital for rehabilitation. My impression on visiting regularly, (3 or 4 times a week at first, then weekly), was that Springfield was friendly, efficient and welcoming. My friend was immediately comfortable and everything possible was done to ensure her temporary stay was a pleasant experience.

I will keep in touch and advertising a lovely home to my friends.

I arrived at Springfield when not in a good time of my life. I could not walk and was reliant on the staff for most of my basic needs. The staff were magnificent and treated me with the utmost respect and dignity. Within the first week, they had me up and walking, much to my amazement, on crutches. I also regained my sense of humour and the will to make the most of the time I have left. I cannot thank the permanent staff and the physiotherapists [cruel people!] enough. I would recommend the nursing home to anyone. Thank you so much.

I was well looked after and helped in any difficulties. Would recommend Springfield to anybody in need of respite.

I have loved everything about Springfields and you have a staff to be very proud of.

Nothing was too much trouble.

I was sent here from the hospital having suffered a fracture to my arm and pelvis. I was in the NHS rehab unit on the 2nd floor. All the staff were very good, both the homes' and the NHS. However, one of the homes' night nurses was particularly uncaring, making me wait over 2 hours on 2 occasions for pain relief. I discharged myself.

All the staff a very good and helpful with my stay here.

During my short stay at Springfield, I have found most staff members here extraordinarily kind and helpful. They treat all residents with kindness and compassion. It is as if they are part of your own family - they care with a capital C and provide an invaluable network of kindness to those who are feeling down, lost and temporarily out of sorts... I have been privileged to meet some astonishingly special people in this wonderful team of true and dedicated selfless human beings.

Each and everyone who works at Springfield were wonderful in whatever they did and you cannot fault any of them. If I had to go into a care home again I would want it to be Springfield.
