Brabourne Care Centre opened in 2006 and provides bespoke care packages for a range of needs from residential and dementia to convalescent and end-of-life care.

Facilities include lounges and en-suite rooms and a well established garden, where residents are encouraged to enjoy their independence and make the most of every day.

I've been coming up here for a year to visit the family and the staff are excellent there is one member of the care staff that is outstanding. You should be very proud to have him working for you. From my experience, he is the soul of the top floor care staff. You should be proud to have someone like
him working for you. He is very professional in the job he does and the way he joins in, helps and plays with the other residence on the top floor is amazing. You should reward him and others like that for the way they are to the residence. If I had a Care Home and I had someone working for me like that, I would be extremely proud to employee people like that. Keep up the good work. You are a good example to all the other carers.

My mother has been resident since February 2024, and is bed-bound with dementia. Every single member of staff, from management to nurses, catering staff to cleaners to admin, treats not only my mother with the greatest care, dignity and respect, but also us as her family, whenever we come to visit her.
They are always cheerful and welcoming, and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is beautifully clean, the food is plentiful and delicious, and there is a wide range of activities available for residents. We are made to feel as though they truly care about us all as much as they would a member of their own family. I cannot praise them highly enough, and I would recommend Brabourne Care Centre to anyone looking for top-quality care for their relative.

I am so pleased how my parents have settled into Brabourne. They have been here a while now and every care need is met with respect, dignity and care. The staff are so understanding and caring and nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend this home to anyone.

The whole team have gone above and beyond whilst caring for my dad during his time at Brabourne. They helped me during my dad's deterioration and were always available for me to talk to. All of the carers had so much patience during my dad's unsettled periods. The kitchen staff recognised his change
in eating habits and always made him food he would eat. Everyone is so friendly.

I have been visiting my dad at Brabourne Care Centre for around eighteen months. I have always found my dad to be happy here. Although Dad would often decline carers' attention and so therefore sometimes personal care would be delayed but that was Dad's choice and he was happy here. He loved many of
the staff and I'm not surprised as they always treated Dad and us family members like family of their own. Staff are always helpful and often went above and beyond their roles. I feel that Dad passed away here at Brabourne happy.

Mum has been a resident for two months. The staff are caring and understanding. Always there if you need them. Mum feels safe and is getting used to the new way of living. They have good facilities, including being able to have hair cuts and feet treated. Three meals a day. Mum can struggle with food
sometimes as she does not eat fish or lamb. They will always try to cater when they can. Mum receives her medication and is treated for her ailments. The home has a good well-being team with activities every day. This is very beneficial to residents. Mum has not taken everything up yet, as losing sight in one eye has caused her confidence to go.

I researched quite a few nursing homes in the Ashford, Kent area. I selected a few to visit based on reviews, facilities, locality and staff from brochures and websites.
Brabourne Care Centre was visited prior to Mum being admitted for nursing care, All staff, reception, caretakers, nursing, care staff
and catering staff, are approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Inevitably, it took a few weeks for Mum to settle completely but now Mum is so well cared for, content, safe and relaxed. I have no concerns in recommending Brabourne Care Centre to families looking for the best.

My mother moved from hospital to Brabourne and was not walking or eating much at all. The excellent care of the home and dedicated staff have ensured progress for my mother. I am deeply appreciative of all the loving care she is receiving and help to progress. We as a family are so happy we chose Brabourne,

They have some challenging times there and all staff are calm and caring.
They need medals for the jobs they do.

Mum was admitted to Brabourne Care Centre in June 2022 initially on a short-term and eventually on a full-time basis. The team responsible for her care were excellent during some very challenging and difficult times for Mum and the family. The experience and dedication of the nurses helped give Mum
a certain amount of quality of life back as it meant we could take her out again on occasions. All of the carers, including the team providing her meals and refreshments were always caring and considerate, going out of their way to meet all of her needs, it was never too much trouble. The reception team were always welcoming and helpful and everyone supported us as the family. At no time did we feel concerned about the care Mum was receiving and we always knew she was also being catered for her specific diet. At the end, the team were very respectful and allowed Mum to pass away with dignity and respect allowing the family to be with her which was very important to us. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Have been to others to visit my uncle and nowhere is as good as Brabourne Care Centre. It's so nice when the staff know what you drink and bring it to you without asking. Very impressed.

My husband has Parkinson's disease. He cannot walk now and is needing a hoist to get him out of bed and into his wheelchair. The carers look after him very well. He can experience hallucinations, dreams and confusion and they are patient with him. All the staff, carers, nurses, cleaners, and those who
provide drinks and meals acknowledge him and use his first name.

My mum spent 2 weeks of respite in Brabourne Care Centre in September. From the first day, I felt happy leaving her there. Every member of staff whatever their role was kind, friendly and approachable. They went out of their way to help and answer any concerns or questions we had. Mum of course was
a bit apprehensive on the first day but soon felt safe and comfortable. She told them that she wouldn't be joining in any activities but was kindly asked each day if she wanted to attend, which she appreciated. If the need arises for Mum to go into respite in the future, we would both choose Brabourne. Thank you.
