We came to Brabourne on a opening day, we were met by the receptionist who was happy to find someone to show us around. Everyone is happy, my mum us very happy here. The staff are extremely accomodating, mum is clean, tidy as well as the rooms, dining rooms and common area's. Management are very proactive in dealing with any difficulties that arise. Family are very much involved in the care of the residents. The wellbeing team are excellent, hairdressing and crafts. We are very happy there is not enough room to express how pleased we are with Brabourne.

My mother came to Brabourne Care Centre at the end of her life in December 2024. From the moment I met one staff member in particular who showed me around - completely unannounced - to the time my mother passed away, I have been treated with such kindness and compassion. The care given by the staff to my mother has been excellent. Every single member of staff, including reception, catering, well being, nursing and care assistants all should be commended.

My aunt recently died suddenly after 8 years in Brabourne Care Centre. I have nothing but praise for the time she spent there and the wonderful staff who gave so much more than their care! Having retired from the NHS after 41 years in both nursing and managerial roles I can say without question the Brabourne Care Centre is the best home that I have ever visited or worked in over those years! All of the staff give so much more to the residents and the welcoming and professional way in which they all perform their duties is absolutely amazing. My aunt loved being part of the Brabourne family and both myself and my family were all included in that. Thank you Brabourne Care Centre for providing such a memorable time for the last years of her life.

My mother-in-law celebrated her 87th birthday on the 11th January 2025, we wanted to organise some music and have her family and friends attend for the music and an afternoon tea. The request for this to happen was welcomed and encouraged by the manager. All the staff became part of the celebration and other residents were invited to join and had a lovely afternoon. All the staff, including a member of staff from the catering side, worked so hard to set out the tea and make my mother-in-law's birthday so special. The entertainment staff during the afternoon worked hard to bring fun and laughter to the event. As a family, we thank you all at Brabourne Care Centre and look forward to doing another gathering soon.

Regards.

After several falls and a stay in hospital, I moved Mum from South Wales to Brabourne Care Centre to be near us. It was a very stressful time as Mum hated losing her independence and moving from her beloved home. She was very frail when she first moved there but within a few months, she was eating well and starting to enjoy life and particularly enjoyed sitting out in the garden and joining the activities. I cannot fault the care Mum had in the time she was there. There was always a warm welcome from the reception staff. Sadly, Mum's dementia deteriorated but the care she had in the last few months of her life was outstanding.

I've been coming up here for a year to visit the family and the staff are excellent there is one member of the care staff that is outstanding. You should be very proud to have him working for you. From my experience, he is the soul of the top floor care staff. You should be proud to have someone like him working for you. He is very professional in the job he does and the way he joins in, helps and plays with the other residence on the top floor is amazing. You should reward him and others like that for the way they are to the residence. If I had a Care Home and I had someone working for me like that, I would be extremely proud to employee people like that. Keep up the good work. You are a good example to all the other carers.

My mother has been resident since February 2024, and is bed-bound with dementia. Every single member of staff, from management to nurses, catering staff to cleaners to admin, treats not only my mother with the greatest care, dignity and respect, but also us as her family, whenever we come to visit her. They are always cheerful and welcoming, and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them. The home is beautifully clean, the food is plentiful and delicious, and there is a wide range of activities available for residents. We are made to feel as though they truly care about us all as much as they would a member of their own family. I cannot praise them highly enough, and I would recommend Brabourne Care Centre to anyone looking for top-quality care for their relative.

The whole team have gone above and beyond whilst caring for my dad during his time at Brabourne. They helped me during my dad's deterioration and were always available for me to talk to. All of the carers had so much patience during my dad's unsettled periods. The kitchen staff recognised his change in eating habits and always made him food he would eat. Everyone is so friendly.

I have been visiting my dad at Brabourne Care Centre for around eighteen months. I have always found my dad to be happy here. Although Dad would often decline carers' attention and so therefore sometimes personal care would be delayed but that was Dad's choice and he was happy here. He loved many of the staff and I'm not surprised as they always treated Dad and us family members like family of their own. Staff are always helpful and often went above and beyond their roles. I feel that Dad passed away here at Brabourne happy.

Mum has been a resident for two months. The staff are caring and understanding. Always there if you need them. Mum feels safe and is getting used to the new way of living. They have good facilities, including being able to have hair cuts and feet treated. Three meals a day. Mum can struggle with food sometimes as she does not eat fish or lamb. They will always try to cater when they can. Mum receives her medication and is treated for her ailments. The home has a good well-being team with activities every day. This is very beneficial to residents. Mum has not taken everything up yet, as losing sight in one eye has caused her confidence to go.
