Brabourne Care Centre opened in 2006 and provides bespoke care packages for a range of needs from residential and dementia to convalescent and end-of-life care.

Facilities include lounges and en-suite rooms and a well established garden, where residents are encouraged to enjoy their independence and make the most of every day.

As I can't use names, I would like to say that all the people who had dealings with my mother were excellent. From management to covid testers, caring staff and cleaners, all were so polite and caring, I could not have asked for more. When our mum passed away, we were notified very promptly. Thank you

Caring and professional staff. I found the menu didn't cater for vegetarians but staff were happy to buy in if required. My only concern was a diet rather too focused of dairy which was a problem with high cholesterol. Often staff shortages appeared to put pressure on nurses and carers but there was
no decline in their ability to do the job with a positive and kind attitude. Efficient cleaning and laundry (done with a smile.) I felt confident with the physio support.

Excellent care was given to mum throughout her stay at Brabourne Care Centre. She was made very comfortable and the family were kept up-to-date every step of the way. A lovely calm setting.

My husband, who has severe dementia, spent three and a half days respite at Barbourne Lodge. I was struck by the efficiency and cleanliness of the home. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff and the attention to detail to ensure my husband's visits went smoothly. They were very kind and

My dad had 2 weeks of respite. I was a little worried as he has never been in a care home. To my absolute delight dad was very happy he said he was very well cared for and treated with respect.

The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our needs especially arranging visits. They made me cups of tea while I waited for the Covid results. The room had a smell of urine although it was always clean.

My mother was sent to Brabourne after a short stay in hospital for rehabilitation. Since being there her health has improved considerably.
All the staff are very friendly and undertake things in a professional manner. The place is always clean and tidy. They are looking after my mother with great
respect and dignity.

My mother is fortunate to be in Brabourne Care Home. I always find the hard-working and dedicated staff very helpful, friendly and easy to deal with. Care homes have been placed under considerable extra pressure by the pandemic but it appears to me Brabourne has coped very well and professionally in
a difficult situation. I believe my mother is happy in the home. I and my family are very grateful to the staff and management.

We have found the care provided during mum's residence to always be kind, compassionate and accommodating.
As mum's dementia has deteriorated her needs have changed but this has been handled with sensitivity and full communication with the family.
During these difficult and unprecedented times of
Covid-19, we have always felt she has been kept as safe as possible and been reassured by the protocols which have been put in place.

My mother was taken to Brabourne Care Centre two weeks ago, from having a long stay in hospital my mother was seriously ill and has many different specific care needs.
Since arriving at Brabourne, all the staff have been approachable, helpful, bright, friendly and always accommodating for my mother
and the whole family.
The environment is clean, light and has a lovely feel to it, the staff are very informative, caring and will always adapt any visit where they can, their understanding and compassion is outstanding and the duty of care is of the highest standard.
I would like to personally thank every member of staff who works there regardless of job as they are a lovely team and it is like a family working together to care for our loved ones.
In the times we live in at the moment with the added worry of Covid and limited time and availability to see my mother, I can't express the thanks first-class treatment she has received from all staff, so again Thank you all so much.

I have been very well looked after both night and day. The staff are excellent carers, very capable and sympathetic to the resident's needs with medical staff who are efficient and vigilant in their care of those who need their help and medication. Food is cooked in-house and is very appetising. The
rooms are cleaned every day by a team of excellent carers.

I would like to have said that following some six weeks in Brabourne Care Centre my wife's rehab was a great success, but sadly I can't. My wife has Parkinson's and was struggling to walk, so she was taken here for rehab to improve her mobility. Unfortunately, she was left in bed for days on end with
just occasional rehab input. If you know anything about Parkinson's you will know the patient needs to exercise at least once an hour during the day otherwise they seize up and reversing this is very difficult, so to be left in bed for most of the time over a six week period is extremely damaging. To say this is heartbreaking for me would be an understatement as she can't even stand now let alone walk, in just six weeks. I found the staff pleasant enough but there didn't seem to be enough of them and the ones I spoke to really didn't understand Parkinson's. It would have been better if they'd refused to take her because at home I could get her to move a bit. Heartbroken!!
