My brother transferred to Sutton Valence after a long period in hospital. The care he received was exemplary. The staff are so caring and patient. He required complex nursing care, due to advanced Parkinson's, which was managed with such professionalism and compassion. His dignity was preserved at all times and we felt supported as a whole family. We wish he could have had longer to benefit from the wonderful environment and care, but we are so thankful that he was able to spend his last days with you. We would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you for your kindness and support. You are a blessing!
Thank you so much for your lovely words, we were very honoured to be able to care for your brother through his last days. We hope that knowing your brother was well cared for has given you peace.
I have found all staff to be pleasant and helpful showing courtesy and dignity and very friendly with regard to there duties, overall I could find no faults with what they do
Thank you John for your review and lovely feedback

Facilities very good but of late is has been difficult to enter the building as I have to wait out for long to get someone to me in. Staff are very friendly and always welcoming.
Thank you very much for your review of our home. Please don't hesitate to speak to me regarding the out of hours access
Staff are empathic and sensitive, providing a calm and comfortable environment.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this home.
Thank you so much for your review of our home and how the team have cared for your Mother, it is our honour and pleasure to be there for your Mother and your family.
Since my husband has been here it's been excellent he has put some weight back on as he lost a lot in the last home. Everyone here is so welcoming and happy my husband and all of my family thinks this is a beautiful place it's clean and all of the staff are brilliant we love them all as they care so much I can't say enough nice things about them all, but thank you all.
Thank you for your kind feedback i will pass onto the staff , it is always a pleasure to hear such positive comments and this is all made easier with families that support what we do and how the care is delivered , our aim is to allow families to be families and not carers and the home take some of this burden away at this period in their loved ones life
I cannot fault the care my mother has received. All the staff have been exemplary. The recent Birthday celebrations that the home organised were wonderful and much appreciated by all the family. Excellent!
Thank you for your lovely comments and praise I will be sure to pass this on to the care staff, such great feedback endorses what we always try to achieve at Sutton Valence and being part of the wider family of our residents is key to this success Thank You.
We have recently been given some terrible news in relation to my father's health. As he was no longer able to look after himself properly we were able to seek a home that could care for his needs, make him feel comfortable and also make him feel safe. The Sutton Valence Care Home had a space available which is close to us all and has totally changed my father's end of life. I am truly grateful that he is here.
Thank you for your kind response and words. It is our pleasure to support your father and the family. Please be assured that your father's care is our priority, and supporting the family is an honour and privilege that we do not take lightly.
Excellent care home, 100%.
Thank you for your outstanding feedback, as the home manager it is always refreshing to get any feedback and I will pass on these comments to the staff team, it was a pleasure to care for Mum and to support you as a family who worked with us to deliver the best care possible.
My mum has been a resident at Sutton Valence for a year now as she needs nursing care, however, my dad was still residing at Barchester Herne Place Care Home, a residential home where my parents had previously lived together.
However, after about 10 months of them living apart, the manager of Sutton Valence suggested that as he had rooms shortly to become available we may like to move Dad there.
Both homes liaised and Sutton Valence Care Home did a wonderful job with ensuring things went as smoothly as possible and provided a lovely welcoming room along with caring and efficient staff to take care of both my parents, who are now happily reunited after 62 years of marriage.
My mum is very happy and the staff are always friendly, helpful, caring, always have time for a chat with mum and myself. She gets very nice meals. The staff have got my mum to go out on the bus for a trip out, as she normally just likes to stay in her room.
Thank you for your kind words. Our success is listening to the individuals and working with families. I will pass on your comments to the staff team.
My mother has been in Barchester Sutton Valance for 5 and a half years now. The staff are outstanding, whatever position they hold within the home. Mum is very happy, which makes me contented knowing she is happy and safe.
Thank you for your kind words. It is lovely and really supportive to the staff teams that this feedback is related to them. I am pleased as a unit we are able to work with the family to provide the best care possible to mum.
Food was good with a variety of choices.
I joined in with the activities and made some new friends.

Found all staff, carers and other people to be brilliant and caring, and I would recommend this place to anyone.
Thank you for your lovely comments. Caring for your loved one is a pleasure. Care and responses are made easier, and it would be a great working relationship we have with the family.
The Barchester Sutton Valence Care Home is an outstanding care home. The staff always go above and beyond to make the residents feel comfortable and cared for. The facilities are second to none and there is always something going on to keep everyone interested. A big thank you to the unit manager for her unending work.
All staff are very attentive, her nurse is amazing and the carers are great at popping into her room to see if she is ok or needs anything. Her new room is fantastic. Many thanks to all.
Thank you for your kind words in regard to our care, the areas of slight concern will be addressed directly with you and are related to in part the refurbishment programme and will be addressed with staff.

The chef made my nan a special gluten-free birthday cake which absolutely made her day. The team in the dining room were so helpful and kind making her day so special. We loved dining with her to celebrate.
