My mumsie was in this nursing home for about 2 half years which was her happy time after all the bad falls that she had in her home it was mumsies decision to go into a home the staff were lovely to mum cared for her all the time she was there also Dee the entertainments organiser is so caring she works so hard to make the residents feel at home mum thought the world of her shes so respectful to everyone the rooms are cleaned every day the food is really good at the time when mumsie was really poorly they couldn't do enough for me and my mumsie
So I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU
and im so pleased that I can still come into the home to be with the residents

Love kay xx

Overall Experience
In the 2 years that Yvonne was at the home, I could not have wished for better support and caring from all the team there.
As Yvonne's husband my agreement for Yvonne to take up residency was essential prior to Yvonne's move. During my first interview with the manager I told her that the home gave me good vibes. In the two years that Yvonne was there, I had no reason to change that opinion. While the facilities may not have been optimal and maintenance work to correct faults or problems in Yvonne's room, seemed to take a while longer than I might have hoped, it did not detract from the overall theme of comfort and residency that the staff and environs conveyed
Acitivities were excellently organised and implemented safely, as were visits to the nearby shopping centres for residents

Thanks in many ways are due to this caring team of terrific people who looked after Yvonne during that time

Looked after my mum in a dignified and caring manner. They supported the family when mum went into the home, we couldn't fault their care when mum passed away.

Lovely friednly staff and atmosphere, and they meet everyone's individual needs, not only are they there for the residents they also support the families. The rooms are kept lovely and clean and tidy as with the rest of the home. I know my husband couldn't be in a better care home than Valley View. The whole team from management down to the cleaning staff are excellent.

Dad was only at Valley View for a few months but in that time he met some lovely residents with whom he could reminisce about the Medway towns.

The staff are lovely, friendly and caring making residents and family members feel at home from day one and nothing is too much trouble. Dad was always saying how good the food was and when he didn't fancy a big meal how a smaller option was provided. There is a variety of activities and entertainment that family members can join in with too. Valley View gave me quality time with Dad before he sadly passed away and for that, I'm forever grateful.

My father has been living at Valley View Care Home for the past year and a half as he is no longer able to live independently due to being in the early stages of dementia. I would highly recommend this home. My father is very well cared for and comfortable. The food is lovely. The staff are kind and capable. My dad tells me that as he often wakes up very early in the morning, a member of staff will always pop in very early with a cup of tea and a slice of toast for him so that he doesn’t get too hungry before breakfast. The home itself is very well appointed. Rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are spacious and nicely decorated. Communication with my sister and I is excellent and I am confident that my father is safe and well looked after.

My father stayed at Valley View during the last four weeks of his life - he was transferred there from the hospital. We are so pleased that he was able to spend time there. We would like to thank everyone who cared for him and we feel lucky to have found Valley View. He was so happy whilst he was there. The staff were all so kind and went out of their way to make him feel loved and looked-after during his last weeks.

It is a great comfort to us that he was able to stay in such a wonderful place with such warm and compassionate people.

We would like to pass our heartfelt gratitude and sincere thanks to everyone involved.
