As I told sister, the carers deserve a medal for the dedication, patience, understanding of the patient's needs. My husband can't praise them enough. When he is down they jolly him along, encourage him to do his exercises and care for him. I have great admiration for all the carers.

All our family members are very pleased with the support and care that is given to my husband. We are treated as a valuable family member of the nursing home by staff and management. The residents comfort and are the first priority and any problems are quickly sorted out. Altogether very satisfactory.

My wife, who has advanced Alzheimer's disease, has been a resident for 6 months. The care she received is excellent. The staff are capable, well trained and very friendly. Her needs are very basic as she is doubly incontinent. The nursing care, when required, is excellent and would be difficult to better.

I cannot comment on value for money as her care costs are, at present, paid for by the NHS.

I have visited my brother-in-law many times over the last 3 years. The staff are extremely competent and friendly. Very caring and we have complete confidence that the facility cares a great deal for their patients.

My father is unable to communicate due to his dementia, however, it is clear from his calm state and smile that he is in good care. He sings and jokes so whilst he may not be as coherent as before, he shows he's still happy.

The nursing home is well presented. The staff are polite, welcoming and friendly. The residents are treated with caring, kindness, with respect and are spoken to with courtesy.
The staff endeavour to involve the residents in various activities.
Medical care is of a very high standard, nurses are alert

This is the third home my mother has stayed in and is by far the best. The decor and the building are a bit dated and tired. That being said, every time I visit my mother she is happy, calm and contented. She also looks well cared for, clean and tidy. The staff are polite, well mannered and caring.
I would happily recommend this care home to anyone looking for a safe, secure, kind residence for a loved one.

Staff are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The food according to my relative is also very good. The bedroom he has is very light and airy. I think the staff work very hard to make the atmosphere as homely for the residents as much as possible.

Both the nursing and care staff at Julie Richardson are first rate. They all treat my father with the dignity that is so important. The nurses are skilled, kind and attentive. They are responsive to my father's needs and promptly address any concerns our family may have. The care staff treat my father
as a loved family member and provide excellent personal care, exercise, entertainment and food. I am pleased to say my father is as content and comfortable as possible thanks to all the people caring for him and their mix of good humour and expertise.

Staff are excellent and very attentive to my father-in-law. I feel everyone goes out of their way to assist or help in any way needed. Meals look good for the few times I have been here at mealtime. I do, however, feel his room is tired and would benefit from some different flooring other than carpet.
