The home is well run, and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. My father is well looked after and seems happy.

I find the staff at the care home to be genuinely caring and respectful. There are always plenty of staff, even when some residents are requiring one to one input. My brother has quickly settled into the home and the staff are always attentive and keep us well informed. My brother has been in the home for 18 months and I never have any complaints.

My brother has been a resident for over eighteen months and his nursing care has been outstanding. The management and nursing team make every effort to provide for the comfort and well-being of all residents. As well as excellent care and high regard for dignity, I have seen many examples of kindness, compassion and understanding. This sensitivity and empathy are reassuring and comforting. The quality of food is good and there is an emphasis on generating a homely atmosphere. Activities, including "breath of fresh air" outings, are a regular feature at the home and are very well organised. All residents are included, despite individual limitations. Just one of many examples of that inclusion is visible at Christmas in the home. It is a very happy time and the staff go to considerable lengths to get all of the residents around a (very) long set of tables for lunch so that they are able to celebrate Christmas together. It is a pleasure to see my brother so happy and settled.

Myself, family and visitors to my wife are full of compliments. It has a very friendly atmosphere. Staff are all very kind and caring. My wife, I am sure, is in the best place.

First class care..

The care being given to my husband is clearly very good indeed. He is quite challenging on more than one front and staff work very differently to entertain him, distract him and make his life as pleasant as possible.

Please keep up the good work.

As I told sister, the carers deserve a medal for the dedication, patience, understanding of the patient's needs. My husband can't praise them enough. When he is down they jolly him along, encourage him to do his exercises and care for him. I have great admiration for all the carers.

All our family members are very pleased with the support and care that is given to my husband. We are treated as a valuable family member of the nursing home by staff and management. The residents comfort and are the first priority and any problems are quickly sorted out. Altogether very satisfactory.

Old building but care is of a very high standard.

All staff and services have been good. Staff care and friendliness has helped to provide a relaxed atmosphere for the resident. Constant awareness of residents condition has been very good.

My wife, who has advanced Alzheimer's disease, has been a resident for 6 months. The care she received is excellent. The staff are capable, well trained and very friendly. Her needs are very basic as she is doubly incontinent. The nursing care, when required, is excellent and would be difficult to better.

NB I cannot comment on value for money as her care costs are, at present, paid for by the NHS.
