The care being given to my husband is clearly very good indeed. He is quite challenging on more than one front and staff work very differently to entertain him, distract him and make his life as pleasant as possible.

As I told sister, the carers deserve a medal for the dedication, patience, understanding of the patient's needs. My husband can't praise them enough. When he is down they jolly him along, encourage him to do his exercises and care for him. I have great admiration for all the carers.

Review from C P (Husband of Resident) published on 8 February 2019 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

My wife, who has advanced Alzheimer's disease, has been a resident for 6 months. The care she received is excellent. The staff are capable, well trained and very friendly. Her needs are very basic as she is doubly incontinent. The nursing care, when required, is excellent and would be difficult to better.

NB I cannot comment on value for money as her care costs are, at present, paid for by the NHS.

My father is unable to communicate due to his dementia, however, it is clear from his calm state and smile that he is in good care. He sings and jokes so whilst he may not be as coherent as before, he shows he's still happy.
