The home is always clean, smells nice and the garden is relaxing and it is enjoyable to take my auntie out in the warmer weather.
The food it really good, I join my auntie for lunch on occasions and have always thoroughly enjoyed it.
My activities and outings are arranged and I can tell many of the residents really enjoy this. I help one of the activity organisers to cook with some of the residents, which is great fun.
After struggling to look after my auntie, it is wonderful to have her in Ferendune.
What a relief!
The staff are very helpful and do anything you ask. The food is very good. The rooms and activities are very good.
We visit our aunt every few weeks and are really impressed by the care offered. Last year we had another aunt here who needed a high level of care and we always felt confident that her care was excellent. The range of activities offered is very good and offers a variety of stimulation. The accommodation seems extremely good and we like the way that residents are moved around to encourage communication with other residents. The staff appear welcoming to visitors and compassionate towards our aunt.
When we visit we get a good welcome. The staff are always available to help my aunt if needed. The staff encourage drinks and always help when my aunt needs anything immediately. They are always polite. My aunt's room seems clean and is kept tidy. The management are available to discuss any issues if needed. The home provides a good range of activities and my aunt is encouraged to attend these. She has said she "is well looked after."
I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff. The care assistants and the cleaners are all amazing, they have so much patience and are so kind to the residents. Mother has been there for 5 weeks now and I cannot think of anywhere I would rather she could be.
Excellent caring and efficient.
My mum has moderately severe dementia and seems to be happy and settled. She is well cared for- clean, well fed and staff are friendly, caring and respectful towards her. Her accommodation is excellent and there is a high standard of cleanliness and decor throughout the care home. Many of the staff have been there since she moved in (probably longer) so providing good continuity. Most staff supportive although restricted understanding and command of English has made communication (especially by phone) difficult sometimes. I am confident that my mum is well looked after.
Generally happy with grans care, staff seem caring, very welcoming and professional. A very homely atmosphere.
I can't recommend Ferendune Court highly enough. The staff and facilities are brilliant. The staff show such kindness towards my mum (and me!) and I never worry that she's not being looked after properly.
This residential home is excellent. The present manager had a mammoth task bringing it back to form, but she has succeeded. With a good manager comes friendly staff, patient and cooperative. I rate them all over 100%. My visitors find them all friendly and remark how nice to offered coffee etc, and always made to feel welcome.
