Mum has been cared for at Green Pastures since the end of September 2024. It is also where my dad lived in the last years of his life. There is a wonderful spiritual experience when you visit Green pastures: it is full of peace. The surroundings reflect this in many ways as well as all the staff. Mum
is cared for with great love and dignity. In December our family went to visit mum just before Christmas. As a family, we were able to eat a meal together and share presents. This was a wonderful thing and my heartfelt thanks go to the staff who made this happen.
Reply from Ana Maria Drobota, Registered Manager at Green Pastures Christian Nursing HomeThank you for sharing such a beautiful review. We are honored that both your mum and dad have been a part of our Green Pastures family. It warms our hearts to know that you've experienced the peace and love we strive to create in our home. We are delighted that you were able to enjoy a special Christmas meal and share precious moments together. Your kind words of gratitude mean the world to our staff, who are dedicated to providing care with love and dignity.

My Dad was a resident of Green Pastures for over 12 months until his recent passing. With dementia and mobility problems the care he received was excellent. The care/nursing staff provided loving care always with a smile. At a time when I needed respite care for my dad this Home was welcoming and quick
to respond me, sending Anna to our home to assess dad promptly.
The Home is extremely clean and inviting. Laundry, catering and activities teams also provide an excellent service.
I also felt that office staff worked efficiently to solve any problems.
I always felt comfortable leaving dad in the Nursing Homes care which at a very difficult time was important.
Reply from Ana Maria Drobota, Registered Manager at Green Pastures Christian Nursing HomeThank you for your review. I fondly remember the day I completed the pre-admission assessment for your dad and had the opportunity to meet both of you. It was truly an honour for us to be an extension of your hands in providing care for him. We are grateful for your trust in us during such a difficult time, and we take pride in knowing that you felt comfortable with the care he received.

My father was a resident at Green Pasture Nursing Home for nearly 9 Years, sadly he passed way in January 2025. I cannot thank all the staff at Green Pasture enough for all the care, dedication and support they offered both myself and my Dad over the years. They really are all exceptional.
My dad had
Alzheimers so sometimes he could be challenging. He absolutely loved it here, he loved the people and the activities and days out, he really came out of himself so much more with people around him. We sang, we placed instruments, games. He went on trips. Not only do they care for the person medically and physically but also and so importantly through their wellbeing too. They take the time and trouble to get to know the residents and their families to understand the person.
I will never be able to thank them enough for their dedication and how they looked after my Dad. I highly recommend Green Pastures Christian Nursing Home.

Green Pastures is run extremely efficiently as I can see, the staff and I mean all the staff, are really welcoming and so professional, nothing is too much trouble, and whatever asked your questions/requests are answered immediately. The guests rooms are spotless and warm, nothing escapes the staffs
vigilance, The building is very striking from the outside, excellently maintained and the car park is very clean and spacious, with a state of art cycle security cage, this alone gives a feeling of safety and attention to detail. In my experience at this point you know that there will be no short cuts as to the rest of the Green Pastures experience. Once past the security airlock you are genuinely welcomed, and experience an exceptionaly well chosen decor that could shame many hotels. Tea, Coffee, cakes, biscuits, are offered to the visitors. You do find yourself wondering when was the last time you visited somewhere, excluding private functions etc, and felt as though you are valued.

If a company that makes beer Made Care Homes ... Green Pastures cared for my mother when she was suffering from Alzheimers. Now my 88- year-old father is no longer able to look after himself and has decided to go into the home himself. The staff in the home are the main attraction. Without exception
they are cheerful, friendly polite and caring. Sometimes it can be a bit depressing to visit a care home, but at Green Pastures the staff immediately make you feel like they are happy to be there. It's spotless and well run.
Everyone at the home is exceptionally caring. The staff member who runs the activities is a ray of sunshine. The staff member on reception couldn't be a more helpful and kind person. And one of the nurses is careful to keep my family up to date. One staff member in particular is also very helpful and clear when explaining how the home works.
It's a difficult time when an elderly person is choosing a care home, but we had no hesitation about Dad going to Green Pastures. Happy to talk to anyone wanting to know more.

My Dad's life and the quality of it was extended by his stay in Green Pastures. He was there for 2 and a half years, already suffering from heart disease, diabetes 2 and quite severe vascular dementia. He was beautifully and lovingly cared for by the team, including the carers, nurses, housekeeping,
catering, and all the front office staff and everyone else throughout his time there. Their care also included my mother, my sister and I. We are so glad and grateful that we chose Green Pastures for him at such a difficult time for my parents.

We knew straightaway that Green Pastures was the right place for my Dad. The place has an atmosphere that I don't think can be matched. Every member of staff has always been extremely warm and friendly. They couldn't be more loving if each resident was their own parent or grandparent. They take the
time to get to know each resident and to understand their specific needs and what can help them out of difficult situations. At times, my Dad wouldn't have been easy to deal with, but they showed extreme levels of patience and gentleness, allowing him to keep his dignity whilst allowing them to keep him safe.
My father died in January, and at his death, we were all treated with the utmost kindness and sensitivity. He was there for 3 1/2 years, and we could see the sense of loss felt by the staff who'd looked after him so well.
I wouldn't hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend Green Pastures to anyone.

After looking at a number of care homes in the area, Mum chose Green Pastures and moved to her new home here in July. All staff have made her transition to life here such a positive experience and we, her family are reassured that she feels comfortable and safe. She's receiving good all-around holistic
care which caters for her physical well-being with dignity and respect, as well as meeting her spiritual needs which she values highly. Across the various departments, staff have been very supportive, kind, helpful and responsive. A real home from home.

Green Pastures Christian Nursing Home is a wonderful place. Everyone from the ladies on reception and the office staff to the nursing assistants and catering staff are so friendly and caring, they really go the extra mile to ensure not only the residents are happy but also the family members. As for
the care assistants they really provide a five-star service, their caring and commitment to the residents goes above and beyond. It is such a happy and caring place. We don't have to worry about Mum as we know she is so well looked after. All the staff are wonderful.

Green Pastures provides exemplary care for my mother, she has been there for over three years. The home is bright and spotlessly clean but even more importantly the staff are caring and seem to treat my mother, who has dementia, as an individual. There is a weekly timetable of activities. The staff
work with family and friends flexibly (I sometimes visit for lunch or accompany my mother on outings). Overall I would recommend Green Pastures.

My mum has been a resident of Green Pastures for just over 3 years. Since she has been cared for at the home myself and my family and her friends have all noticed a huge improvement in her not only health-wise but also mentally.
I try and visit my mum most days, we feel Green Pastures has become
part of our family, always making us welcome day or night.
Mum is really settled, and has her daily routine which all the staff are happy to help her with, she has made good friends with many of the different staff teams from housekeeping/activities and the carers.
It's so reassuring for myself and our family that Mum is being cared for so well, thank you to all the staff at Green Pastures you really are all amazing.

A very friendly home. Resident treated with great care and dignity. Family included in all discussions. Took trouble to ensure a good care plan was in place. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent level of cleanliness. Staff understand that resident does not have dementia and needs to be engaged

I have been attending the Green Pastures Nostalgia Cafe on Monday mornings since 2018, firstly with my wife who has dementia and died during the Covid lockdown in 2020. I have continued to attend and have enormously appreciated the support and friendliness of the staff and volunteers at Green Pastures
and all the hard work of the organiser in arranging activities. We are treated to coffee and cakes and made most welcome and are invited to an excellent Christmas lunch. The facility used was an airy day room with an adjoining room to meet in. Dementia advisors or for some games and activities. Cannot speak too highly of my experience.

(1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 60 registered maximum number of service users is 12, which has been reached with 41 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
