My Dad's life and the quality of it was extended by his stay in Green Pastures. He was there for 2 and a half years, already suffering from heart disease, diabetes 2 and quite severe vascular dementia. He was beautifully and lovingly cared for by the team, including the carers, nurses, housekeeping,
catering, and all the front office staff and everyone else throughout his time there. Their care also included my mother, my sister and I. We are so glad and grateful that we chose Green Pastures for him at such a difficult time for my parents.

We knew straightaway that Green Pastures was the right place for my Dad. The place has an atmosphere that I don't think can be matched. Every member of staff has always been extremely warm and friendly. They couldn't be more loving if each resident was their own parent or grandparent. They take the
time to get to know each resident and to understand their specific needs and what can help them out of difficult situations. At times, my Dad wouldn't have been easy to deal with, but they showed extreme levels of patience and gentleness, allowing him to keep his dignity whilst allowing them to keep him safe.
My father died in January, and at his death, we were all treated with the utmost kindness and sensitivity. He was there for 3 1/2 years, and we could see the sense of loss felt by the staff who'd looked after him so well.
I wouldn't hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend Green Pastures to anyone.

My husband entered Green Pastures in August 2021 and died on 15th January this year. Immediately, my daughter and I entered the home. We knew it was the right place for him. Over the years, this has been confirmed. It became his home and mine, and we were both surrounded by love. I shall continue to
visit as a volunteer because it has become my second home.

Green Pastures is a wonderful caring home for my mum. She had to live in two other homes before she was able to come here. At last, she is cared for and safe. The staff are caring, friendly and cheerful. This is home for my mum in the best possible way.

After looking at a number of care homes in the area, Mum chose Green Pastures and moved to her new home here in July. All staff have made her transition to life here such a positive experience and we, her family are reassured that she feels comfortable and safe. She's receiving good all-around holistic
care which caters for her physical well-being with dignity and respect, as well as meeting her spiritual needs which she values highly. Across the various departments, staff have been very supportive, kind, helpful and responsive. A real home from home.

Green Pastures Christian Nursing Home is a wonderful place. Everyone from the ladies on reception and the office staff to the nursing assistants and catering staff are so friendly and caring, they really go the extra mile to ensure not only the residents are happy but also the family members. As for
the care assistants they really provide a five-star service, their caring and commitment to the residents goes above and beyond. It is such a happy and caring place. We don't have to worry about Mum as we know she is so well looked after. All the staff are wonderful.

Green Pastures provides exemplary care for my mother, she has been there for over three years. The home is bright and spotlessly clean but even more importantly the staff are caring and seem to treat my mother, who has dementia, as an individual. There is a weekly timetable of activities. The staff
work with family and friends flexibly (I sometimes visit for lunch or accompany my mother on outings). Overall I would recommend Green Pastures.

My mum has been a resident of Green Pastures for just over 3 years. Since she has been cared for at the home myself and my family and her friends have all noticed a huge improvement in her not only health-wise but also mentally.
I try and visit my mum most days, we feel Green Pastures has become
part of our family, always making us welcome day or night.
Mum is really settled, and has her daily routine which all the staff are happy to help her with, she has made good friends with many of the different staff teams from housekeeping/activities and the carers.
It's so reassuring for myself and our family that Mum is being cared for so well, thank you to all the staff at Green Pastures you really are all amazing.

I always find the staff at Green Pastures to be outstanding in their care. They are always patient and kind, and seem to go out of their way to engage with my mother and make her laugh, and to find out what she is interested in to try and motivate her, when sometimes she can be lacking motivation

A very friendly home. Resident treated with great care and dignity. Family included in all discussions. Took trouble to ensure a good care plan was in place. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent level of cleanliness. Staff understand that resident does not have dementia and needs to be engaged

I have been attending the Green Pastures Nostalgia Cafe on Monday mornings since 2018, firstly with my wife who has dementia and died during the Covid lockdown in 2020. I have continued to attend and have enormously appreciated the support and friendliness of the staff and volunteers at Green Pastures
and all the hard work of the organiser in arranging activities. We are treated to coffee and cakes and made most welcome and are invited to an excellent Christmas lunch. The facility used was an airy day room with an adjoining room to meet in. Dementia advisors or for some games and activities. Cannot speak too highly of my experience.

Green Pastures is truly an excellent nursing home. All staff are exceptionally caring, friendly and polite. Attention to detail at all times. Residents are foremost and their daily needs are always adhered to with dignity. Communication is important and this is implemented at all times. I know my aunt
is in the very best care home and I know she is very happy and settled. If it was to be a hotel rating it would definitely be five-star in every aspect. I cannot praise Green Pastures too highly.

Mum was very well cared for by some fantastic staff and as a family we felt very well supported. Would recommend Green Pastures wholeheartedly. I think moving forward that some of the activities could be adjusted to move forward with a different generation coming through.

My mum has been at Green Pastures for just over a year now. Every day I am so grateful for being able to find my mum a place here. All the staff are incredible, kind, caring. Staff always make a point of smiling and saying hello. My mum is cared for so well. The rooms are immaculate. Mum loves having
her hair done and is always dressed well. The food is excellent, with lovely cakes for guests too! Great management by people who really care. Thank you so much.

The level of care provided to Dad is amazing. Everyone is so warm and friendly and has made a difficult time for us all (Dad and his family) so much easier as we all know he is getting the best possible care. Nothing is too much trouble!

My husband first came to Green Pastures in February this year. It was a really hard decision to make but one of the best my daughter and I ever made. He has settled so well and every member of staff has treated him (and us) with such care and kindness. The food is excellent and a check is kept on what
each resident has to make sure they are getting the right amount of nutrients and drinks they need. We have no complaints of any kind.

My brother was a resident for two years, he was suffering from dementia. The care and food was exceptional. The staff were so caring and attentive. We felt so blessed that he was taken care of by such wonderful people.

The amount of care is absolutely wonderful. The carers can't do enough for residents and visitors alike. The home is very, very clean and has everything for the comfort of residents. All of the staff have helped my wife and myself beyond their normal duties. Can't praise them enough.
