My father has been looked after to the highest level. He came into the care home very poorly after Covid. The home supported and cared for him ensuring his bedsores were treated appropriately.

All staff were welcoming and kind to him and us.

Our family is extremely happy with the care Mum is receiving. She is looking a lot better since she came here. She's put on weight and is eating and drinking very well. The staff are always very welcoming to all family. They are very helpful, respectful and professional. Although Mum is on a minced diet, it is well-presented and looks appetising. I would highly recommend St Katharine's to anyone looking for care for their elderly family member.

Mum was very worried about coming to the home but when she met one of the carers she'd known from a little girl her worry disappeared. Staff are very helpful, the phone was answered promptly and answered questions as soon as possible.

Obviously, security I cannot speak of, but I do feel Mother is safe. Don't know about food. Overall, management and staff are very polite and accommodating. I would like Mother to be able to walk in the garden more when the weather allows.

My mum was taken into St Katherine's at the end of November. The assessment and admission process was easy and very professional. My mum seems to have settled in, and I was able to see how kind the carers were and the efforts being made to make her welcome and happy. I am confident that she is in a good place.

Thank you so much for facilitating my visit last week. A last-minute change to arrangements was very much appreciated and allowed Mum to see a very much loved relative. Mum was so pleased to see her and elicited much fun and laughter, recounting numerous stories of the past. Mum benefitted greatly from this visit, giving a great boost to her mood. Thank you for being so accommodating.

The staff across the entire home are very polite, very caring and professional. St Katharine's has been very helpful in making sure Mum and Dad can stay together, having been married for over 60 years. I feel that my mum and dad are both looked after in a very caring way and the staff do everything possible to create a vibrant and fun environment with different activities during a very difficult pandemic environment. The home take Covid-19 very seriously and their procedures I believe are best in class so I know Mum and Dad are safe in their hands.

I'd like to commend the staff at St Katharine's for their incredible hard work during this pandemic. Despite all the extra pressure of lockdown, government regulations and restrictions, vaccinations, testing and sterilisation, their amazing standard of care has never faltered. Every member of staff has met each new challenge with unfailing cheerfulness. It's been incredibly reassuring and a comfort to me to know that my husband continues to receive such kind and compassionate care. Well done to the whole team!

It has been excellent, booking my parents because of emergency admission and post-hospital admission. Great, friendly feeling and made to feel welcome. They have settled in well and are happy.

My mum has recently moved to St Katharine's and it has been a really positive experience for her and for us. Mum tells us regularly how kind the staff are and how much she enjoys the food. The activities team do a fantastic job and it is really heartwarming to see the photos on Facebook of her enjoying herself at a time when we can’t visit her because of the coronavirus restrictions and to know that she is safe and well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending St Katharine's. Thank you for your care.

I came to St Katherine's House in September 2020 but knew St Katherines' well as my wife was resident in the nursing unit. Now I am residing in here as well. The service and care could not be better!

My Mum has been at St Katharine's for 4 years now. I have always been happy with the way she has been looked after.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. They always have a chat with you and ask how you are.
From what I have seen of the food, it always looks good.
During the current pandemic, the staff have gone above and beyond to keep the residents safe and well. The fact that they locked down earlier than a lot of other care homes and have not had one single case of Covid-19 speaks volumes.
The activities team have been amazing and have had some great ideas!

Thank you all for your care.

Well my experience of this home is nothing but great, I have helped out for the past four to five years, maybe more. For most of the time I have helped with there summer fete, but this last few months with the home being in full lockdown, I have helped when they have put their hand out to ask if someone could find XYZ for the home. And nine times out of ten I have found what they needed. As a home I am so pleased they have up to now stayed free of this virus. And hopefully will stay free. And when things change we can get back to helping more on-site. The staff are second to none, some of them think at times, more of the residents than their own health. Is this a good thing or a bad thing, I don’t know but I sure know they make everyone feel like family and treat everyone like family, be it staff, family members of the residents or the residents. The place is one big family, if I ever need to go into a home I hope I get a place like this.

Stay safe all and we see you all soon.
