I have had no bad experiences coming to the home and can recommend it highly.
My mother fits in well and takes part in the numerous activities that are provided which helps her deal with her condition.
An excellent home.
This is a well run home, with very good and caring staff. This home is very clean, with attention to detail. The staff are very considerate and are mindful of my wife's requirements. My wife's room is light and airy with the benefit of an en-suite bathroom. All the staff are very welcoming.

My mother has lived at Westgate for 3 years and we couldn't wish for better care for her. She is safe and looked after by the carers beautifully. They are patient and genuinely caring, nothing is too much trouble.

Kirsty joined the Trust in March 2024 as an Administrator, after working in admin for a construction company for 20 years. Wanting a more people-focused environment, she made a complete career change. Having previously volunteered in youth centres and with adults with learning difficulties, Kirsty knew she wanted a role in care.
Kirsty uses her skills to manage all clerical tasks and enjoys giving show rounds to visitors. She loves the homely feel of Westgate House and finds working with the residents incredibly rewarding.
Outside of work, Kirsty enjoys walking her Staffy puppy, Betsy, with her husband. She’s also an avid runner, regularly taking part in half marathons and running three times a week.
