Situated on the banks of the River Abbey, Abbey Chase Nursing Home is a 20th-century country-house setting that offers residential and nursing care. A true nature-lover's paradise, Abbey Chase is located within a quiet country retreat and surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens. It's also characterised by original features, including an evergreen oak tree, octagonal carp pond, walled garden, orchard and a peaceful riverside walk. Situated close to Chertsey Town, Abbey Chase is easily accessible by the M25 and mainline station at Weybridge.

Abbey Chase offers first-class accommodation with modern facilities, and is registered for 62 beds. The inviting, centrally heated single and shared rooms have scenic views of the grounds and surrounding countryside, with some rooms featuring en-suite bathroom facilities. Care is always provided with dignity and individuality in mind. At Abbey Chase, focus is primarily placed on residential and nursing care, with a secondary focus on respite, dementia, and palliative & end-of-life care.

The nurses and care staff at Abbey Chase have the necessary nursing qualifications and caring experience, which enable them to ensure residents are happy and comfortable in their retirement. The highest standards of personal dignity are maintained at all times, and the personal care they offer is always approached with sensitivity to physical and emotional needs in mind. Health professionals including a doctor, dentist and physiotherapist make regular visits to the home. Residents can also book appointments with opticians, audiologists and chiropodists whenever needed.

The care at Abbey Chase Nursing Home for my nan was five-star. All the carers and staff cared for my nan so well, with pure kindness and kept her comfortable and happy up until the end. They treated her and us like family and I can't recommend or thank them enough.

It has been a pleasant experience all around since my mother was discharged from hospital for respite care at Abbey Chase. One particular lady especially has been very caring, attentive and answers any questions that I may have. My mind was always at rest when I see her around and is a fabulous addition

My mother was admitted for respite care two weeks ago. She has rested and received the best care here. We have noticed such an improvement in her, she seemed happy and relaxed. The staff and management were always kind, friendly, helpful and consistent. Especially certain carers and management. Always
a friendly welcome and there if needed. Thank you to everyone who helped with my mother/wife.

I am writing to express my gratitude and admiration for the staff at Abbey Chase Care Home in Chertsey.
My wife spent 3 months there following surgery on a brain tumour.
The carers were wonderful and went above and beyond what I could ever have expected of them. I would also like to praise the manager
and assistant manager for the emotional support they gave me during the most difficult time in my life. I truly believe they cared about me and my mental health and were a source of great comfort and support.

The staff are very helpful to me as well as my husband. The care staff are excellent and the care received. I have been in many care homes in my life as used to work for the NHS as a therapist. The home is clean and safe for patients and staff. The staff are the best of the best. The food is excellent.
They all work so hard. Cleaning staff, cooks, housekeeping and management will bend over backwards to help you and the ones you love. Everybody is so happy and they look after me as well. The nursing staff as well as the whole team. You should be very proud of them. Please don't change, your support staff are the best. I am so grateful for your help and support.

Cannot praise here highly enough. The care given is exceptional, treated Mum with the utmost respect, could not adult.
Arrived in tears from hospital as knew my mum would be in fabulous hands and left knowing they have helped Mum tremendously, leaving in tears of gratitude.

The manager is excellent, her approach and kindness is outstanding. The home is clean and does not smell like many homes do. My husband was admitted for respite after a stroke. What an amazing care home, wonderful, caring, kind and respectful staff. Two members of staff go way above anything you could hope for, always ready to chat/information etc. Make you feel very comfortable that your loved one is getting top-quality

My father was admitted to Abbey Chase as part of a step-down process from the hospital. From day one the care and consideration given to my father has been excellent. I would highly recommend management of this home is open and transparent. Communication is excellent. I can find no faults.

The Abbey Chase Nursing Home has the resident at the centre of its care. The residents are provided with tasty and nutritious meals. The rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy. Residents are looked after extremely well and the carers are kind and caring. Visitors are welcomed with warm smiles and can come

Our dad was discharged from the hospital on September 23rd and placed on a block bed contract at Abbey Chase Nursing Home while we searched for an alternative accommodation for him. Although Abbey Chase is in need of modernisation, it is well managed by the manager who sets an excellent example of welcoming
kindness. We had a positive interaction with all staff providers who were attentive to our dad's needs and eager to please. The staffing levels are good and the staff are knowledgeable, responsive and genuinely interested in the residents. We left the facility feeling confident that our dad was in safe hands.
