Abbey Chase Nursing Home

Very helpful and kind. My husband enjoys his stay for respite.

My Mother-in-Law went into Abbey Chase Nursing Home Chertsey at the beginning of March 2022, on a temporary basis, due to falls and being hospitalised, but it was only temporary sadly due to her finances. She was treated so well there by all the staff, they are all fantastic. They treated her with the utmost dignity and always popped in to make sure she was ok or needed anything. They are the most caring and thoughtful of people. The communication with the receptionist, the Manager, and the Nurse was brilliant, you can phone anytime and ask a question and you were always made to feel it was not a problem because they realise your concerns are the utmost of importance. The grounds are so well kept and the setting is lovely. We would recommend Abbey Chase Nursing Home, Chertsey.

So happy with Abbey Chase. My mum has been so looked after from the day she arrived there. The care she has every day is amazing. All staff are so kind and will help you if you need anything. The care manager is so happy, always greets us with a smile, and very helpful. Thank you to you all.

The attention given to my Mum's needs was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. I was kept informed of any changes up or down in Mum's condition.

My mother sadly spent the last few weeks of her life in the care of Abbey Chase and we could not have asked for a more caring, loving, and wonderful setting for her last days. The management and senior nursing team were truly amazing. They kept us up to date on her progress and were all at hand to answer our calls. We would definitely recommend this home.

My mum was only at Abbey Chase for 3 weeks and from the moment I left Mum there, the care for her, by management and all staff, was excellent. I couldn't ask for any more from the staff. They were caring, kind and spent time talking to my mum. I would highly recommend the care home.

Sadly my dad was only at Abbey chase for 8 days until he passed away on 8th January 2022 but the care he received was wonderful! All the staff from the manager, nurses, care staff, and reception were so kind and caring at such a difficult time. I was fortunate enough to be able to stay next to my dad overnight until he passed peacefully. The night staff on duty that night were absolutely brilliant. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

My mother-in-law was a resident for several weeks, and the level of care from the manager and all her staff was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even when they were bombarded with phone calls requesting visits. They gave my mother-in-law so much love and dignity in her final days. A truly wonderful care home.

I came into Abbey Chase Nursing Home for two weeks of respite care, I am very happy here the care staff and nursing care is excellent. The manager was very supportive to my wife and myself. When my wife needs a rest in the future I want to come back to Abbey Chase. Well done Abbey Chase, hope to see you all soon.

Everyone took good care of my sister, always helpful and responsive. If I could give one suggestion is that the staff could be more active in encouraging my sister to go out of her room and do more activities, but I recognise they respect the wishes of the resident. Overall I'm so happy with Abbey Chase. I always felt my sister was safe and well cared for.

From the initial meeting with the manager, I felt listened to about my dad's needs and difficulties. The home wanted to know about his family, friends and hobbies so they could start creating engaging conversatoins with him. The staff are so attentive and encouraging with him. He has improved greatly in the short time he's been there, all due to their care and attentiveness.

My mum has dementia which can be very trying at times but the staff are very understanding.

The care home looks after my mum satisfactorily, although when we visited yesterday she was being sick and I had to go and find someone to come and take care of her. My mum has been in this home for about three years and during this time the previous manager has left, the new manager has not introduced themselves to us or made themself known, which I think is bad manners considering my mum was self-funding.

Very welcoming and kind staff and now that she has a bigger room she is even more contented.

We are very impressed with all aspects. The staff are very caring and in all my and my family visits we have observed the kindness they have all shown to all, some extremely difficult patients. I think the fact that my husband came in for two weeks to give me a break, and is still there more than a year later (very much his own choice) speaks for itself!

This is an excellent nursing home. All the staff have always shown the utmost respect to my father and give wonderful care and treatment. They are always willing to discuss his progress with me. The home is always kept clean and has a lovely garden. There is a great selection of food and the activities and entertainment programme is second to none. In short, this is a home I would be happy to live in )in a few years time)!

My mother was a resident in this home for six weeks, the personal care was excellent. The support for us was more than we ever expected. Mum was treated with dignity and love from every member of staff, she was happy. The manager saw that mum's needs were met and us her family are very grateful, thank you.
