Situated on the banks of the River Abbey, Abbey Chase Nursing Home is a 20th-century country-house setting that offers residential and nursing care. A true nature-lover's paradise, Abbey Chase is located within a quiet country retreat and surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens. It's also characterised by original features, including an evergreen oak tree, octagonal carp pond, walled garden, orchard and a peaceful riverside walk. Situated close to Chertsey Town, Abbey Chase is easily accessible by the M25 and mainline station at Weybridge.

Abbey Chase offers first-class accommodation with modern facilities, and is registered for 62 beds. The inviting, centrally heated single and shared rooms have scenic views of the grounds and surrounding countryside, with some rooms featuring en-suite bathroom facilities. Care is always provided with dignity and individuality in mind. At Abbey Chase, focus is primarily placed on residential and nursing care, with a secondary focus on respite, dementia, and palliative & end-of-life care.

The nurses and care staff at Abbey Chase have the necessary nursing qualifications and caring experience, which enable them to ensure residents are happy and comfortable in their retirement. The highest standards of personal dignity are maintained at all times, and the personal care they offer is always approached with sensitivity to physical and emotional needs in mind. Health professionals including a doctor, dentist and physiotherapist make regular visits to the home. Sadly my dad was only at Abbey chase for 8 days until he passed away on 8th January 2022 but the care he received was wonderful! All the staff from the manager, nurses, care staff, and reception were so kind and caring at such a difficult time. I was fortunate enough to be able to stay next to my dad
overnight until he passed peacefully. The night staff on duty that night were absolutely brilliant. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

My mother-in-law was a resident for several weeks, and the level of care from the manager and all her staff was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even when they were bombarded with phone calls requesting visits. They gave my mother-in-law so much love and dignity in her final days. A truly

Having had 56 days in hospitals, we chose Abbey Chase Nursing Home for 2 weeks respite and rehab for my Husband. All the staff were friendly and caring to the relatives as well as the patients.
The nursing was excellent. The rooms all very good and the gardens beautiful.
We would not hesitate to
recommend Abbey Chase.

I came into Abbey Chase Nursing Home for two weeks of respite care, I am very happy here the care staff and nursing care is excellent. The manager was very supportive to my wife and myself. Everyone took good care of my sister, always helpful and responsive. If I could give one suggestion is that the staff could be more active in encouraging my sister to go out of her room and do more activities, but I recognise they respect the wishes of the resident. Overall I'm so happy with Abbey Chase.
I always felt my sister was safe and well cared for.

From the initial meeting with the manager, I felt listened to about my dad's needs and difficulties. The home wanted to know about his family, friends and hobbies so they could start creating engaging conversatoins with him. The staff are so attentive and encouraging with him. He has improved greatly
in the short time he's been there, all due to their care and attentiveness.

The care home looks after my mum satisfactorily, although when we visited yesterday she was being sick and I had to go and find someone to come and take care of her. My mum has been in this home for about three years and during this time the previous manager has left, the new manager has not introduced
themselves to us or made themself known, which I think is bad manners considering my mum was self-funding.

We are very impressed with all aspects. The staff are very caring and in all my and my family visits we have observed the kindness they have all shown to all, some extremely difficult patients. I think the fact that my husband came in for two weeks to give me a break, and is still there more than a
year later (very much his own choice) speaks for itself!

This is an excellent nursing home. All the staff have always shown the utmost respect to my father and give wonderful care and treatment. They are always willing to discuss his progress with me. The home is always kept clean and has a lovely garden. There is a great selection of food and the activities
and entertainment programme is second to none. In short, this is a home I would be happy to live in )in a few years time)!

My mother spent 6 weeks at Abbey Chase Nursing Home, she was treated exceptionally well by everyone. She was given the best attention, always treated with gentle kindness and dignity. As a family, we were confident that the staff were doing everything to ensure her comfort.

My son of 47 suffered a stroke in July 2017 and, coupled with the Huntington Disease inherited from his father, he is very poorly and in need of constant care in every area of his needs. He does not know me and cannot even speak.
Abbey Chase has helped both of us in the dedicated care they give my
son 24/7. Abbey Chase is the mother of care, fantastically managed and loving home.

My mum has been in this care home for a few years now. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure the residents are happy. So much so that they have arranged to take my mum swimming (which she adores and hasn't been for years). Mum is over the moon and so am I. If mum's happy, I'm happy.
Can't stress enough, what a wonderful place this is. Another point, meal times. The dining room is set out as if it were a restaurant. The entertainment they have laid on is amazing and the Activities Organiser is the absolute best. In case you don't realise by reading this, but Abbey Chase, I love you - and so does my mum!
