Mum was looked after very well. Nothing was too much trouble, and family were always to feel welcome when they went to visit her.

Very well managed and caring home. From the moment we were shown around we felt at ease. The level of care from the staff was truly wonderful and we could easily see they genuinely cared about their residents. The food served was excellent, and there was a good variety of activities offered.

Mu husband received end of life care in The Bernard Surley. The staff were phenomenal and compassionate and dedicated, nothing was too much trouble. The home felt friendly and was a welcoming place for visitors in the final days.

As soon as my dad came to The Bernard Sunley Home he was so welcomed and cared for so beautifully. All the staff were amazing, their laughter, fun, care, reassurance and gentleness were outstanding. I cannot thank everyone enough. I thank them also for looking after me! Thank you, Bernard Sunley, for being such a lovely home.

My relative came for a period of respite after being in hospital following a house fire. He arrived with virtually no belongings whilst we were trying to sort things out. The staff + management went above + beyond throughout his stay. They were supportive of myself too, as well as him, throughout the entire stay. I cannot thank the team enough for everything. They made a very traumatic time so much better. Side note am told bed was comfy + food/coffee/cake were great!

Whilst it doesn't affect the star rating there is sometimes an issue with parking but there is a free car park 500 yards away.

Thank you so much for the care, affection you gave to my husband. The welcome we just received on our arrival was so welcoming, smiles making my husband feel he would be well looked after. The staff always greeted warmly. His bedroom was just great, overlooking the gardens and a lovely print of a river over his bed. He was a great fisherman, and loved the garden. Thank you all so much.

I stayed in Bernard Sunley Home for four days. This was respite care to allow my wife to go on a short break. I was very impressed by the home. It is well-run, and the staff all seemed friendly, caring, and interested in me. They were all very helpful whenever I had any special requests or needs. I would have no hesitation in staying at Bernard Sunley again and would recommend it to others too.

Although it was only the briefest of stays, the kindness of the staff was so wonderful. In a stressful "end of life" scenario, they helped our situation, and we will always be truly thankful.

This was such a genuine moment from a wonderful nurse.

No one wants their loved one to go into a care home but if that becomes inevitable, I cannot praise Bernard Sunley highly enough and would recommend them without reservation.

My mother has been a resident at Bernard Sunley for six months. In that time she has been treated with great care and dignity. The whole team run a very nice home and I cannot praise them all highly enough. Would definitely recommend this care home.

My mother has been a resident since July 2023. All the staff have always been excellent however when my mother sadly passed away in February, they went above and beyond. They were all so caring and kind. Myself, my sister and my father all felt so cared for and the love they showed towards my late mother was so touching. Words can't express our appreciation. My mum received palliative care at The Bernard Sunley Nursing and Dementia Care Home at the end of her life. It was excellent and across all areas, nursing, nutrition and housekeeping. All staff were welcoming to her and the family, being responsive and communicating any changes, seeking permissions when needed. At the end of her life, Mum was treated with kindness, care and compassion. Thank you.

My mother was at The Bernard Sunley Nursing and Dementia Care Home for a year and three quarters. At all times, she was cared for and treated with great consideration, kindness and much medical professionalism and skill. What I most appreciated about Bernard Sunley was the all around atmosphere of compassion and cheerfulness - they couldn't have been kinder or more willing to look after my mother.

Our darling mother was looked after in Bernard Sunley for two weeks before she passed on 21st June. Considering under the circumstances our mother was extremely unwell from cancer. The staff and all the management went out of their way and were amazing at caring for our mum in her last few days. My sister and I would like to thank you once again to everyone involved at Bernard Sunley. Amazing team.

My husband transferred from another care home at the beginning of June. He has been given lots of stimulation i.e. out of bed! And into his chair or wheelchair. Taken to the dining room. He is much happier and alert most of the time. There are always staff members around. I feel very confident in the care he is having. The atmosphere is very good. The brightly coloured picture and murals are lovely. The cafe is great to take him for a coffee.

My father has been in the care of the team at Woking Bernard Sunley for several months and I have nothing but praise for the job they are doing. Without exception, the staff have been amazing - kind, caring and supportive and I can’t thank them enough. The home itself is a lovely environment which is even better following the recent redecoration. It’s spacious and well-lit with plenty of relaxing communal spaces (indoor and out) and bright artwork on the walls. We couldn’t have chosen a better home for my father.
