We are incredibly grateful to Little Bramingham Farm for the wonderful care they have been providing for dad since March 2024. From the very first day, the staff have shown compassion, professionalism, and genuine kindness, making us feel confident that he is in safe and caring hands.
The attention
to detail and personalized care he receives truly makes a difference. It's comforting to know that he is being looked after with such dedication and respect.
The environment is warm and welcoming, and there's a focus on resident's wellbeing with movement and keep fit sessions, an on-site hair salon and numerous events from nursery school and therapy dog visits to art and craft sessions.
We highly recommend Little Bramingham Farm to anyone seeking a caring and nurturing home for their loved ones. Thank you to all the staff for your outstanding care and support.

I can't speak highly enough of the wonderful care my mother receives at LBF. From the very first day, the staff have gone above and beyond to make her feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. It gives our family such peace of mind knowing that she is not only well cared for physically, but also emotionally
supported and treated with kindness and respect. The carers are incredibly attentive, patient and genuinely compassionate. They take the time to get to know each resident personally, and it shows in the way they interact with mum. Whether it's helping with daily routines, keeping her engaged with activities, or just sharing a laugh and a chat, the team's warmth and dedication never go unnoticed. The home itself is always clean, welcoming, and filled with a sense of calm. Meals are nutritious and thoughtfully prepared, and we're regularly updated about mum's wellbeing, which we deeply appreciate. I'm truly grateful to all the staff for the incredible work they do everyday.

Our mum came to Little Bramingham farm in May this year for respite and now permanent care. As a family we chose the home initially above all other homes we visited because it's focus and culture of top quality care and it's a real feeling of being a home from home. Mum loves the care and attention
she gets from a great team of experienced professionals. Every day without fail she comments on how lovely they are and how they care for her needs. From the chef (who makes great omelettes) to the carers and the support team incl the hairdresser. What stands out most at this care home is how experienced, passionate  and longstanding the whole workforce is. There is little turnover and their individual desire to support the residents comes out in many ways. It's the little chats and touches which make them stand out like helping mum choose coordinated clothes and hats!! Which she loves.

We are delighted to hear how happy your mum feels with us and that she enjoys the care, attention, and little touches our team provides each day. I'm just writing to express my thanks and appreciation for the care you and your staff have shown my mum, since she arrived at your care home. This is a difficult time for her and whilst she's still adjusting to her new environment it's comforting to see the attention given and the different activities
that are provided to help her feel welcome. During our visits to see mum, your staff have always made us feel welcome and we've been able to enjoy the varied areas that have allowed either a more communal or private visit depending on how mum has been feeling.
Once again a big thankyou.
Reply from Emma Lawrance, Registered Manager at Little Bramingham Farm

Thank you so much for your thoughtful words. We know this has been a big adjustment for your mum, and it's wonderful to hear she's starting to feel more settled. It's especially nice to know you've been able to enjoy the Tea Room area together for a family gathering, we love that it offers a cosy space for quieter, more private visits. Your appreciation means a great deal to our whole team, and we'll continue doing all we can to help your mum feel at home.

The Staff are warm, caring, hardworking, kind, skilled and conscientious. They really know each Resident well.
They all work well together as a Team from the Administrator to the Housekeeping and Maintenance, Activities Lead and Caring Staff.
The grounds are lovely, well kept and used enthusiastically.
There are clear lines of accountability with the Shift Leaders being an accessible and efficient point of contact for Staff, Residents and Relatives alike as well as the Home Manager.
There is a stable core of regular Staff and Agency Staff use mostly seems to be small.
I have chosen this Care Home for both of my elderly relatives to live in and I feel happy with my choice.

Friends of the Elderly Malvern Day Care

I am the primary carer/ husband of my wife who, because of her dementia, requires full time support and care. In March last year I began the search for a day care centre which would give me some time out in looking after her. After viewing a number of centres together with the family I decided the FOE
day centre at Davenham would be the place most suited to my wife's needs. How right we were! Despite initial reservations from my wife she soon settled in to the daily routines and activitiies. We increased attendance from 2 to 3 days per week very soon after the intial few months.
All of the staff there were and are brilliant with nothing too much trouble to make my wife comfortable and with the amount of activities available, the reassurance by the care staff when she feels a little vulnerable and the general ambience of the surroundings I would strongly recommend the Davenham day centre to anyone who wants that extra little bit of care and support for the service user and their carer

My friend came for respite care in July and was sobbing because it had come to this - needing to be in a care home. After 2 weeks, she wanted to have 2 more weeks of respite. Her anxiety was diminished and she enjoyed the company of residents and especially the company, kindness of the staff. She wants
to be in her own home so is going back with 24 hour care set in place. If she cannot cope, she will be happy to return to Davenham. Everyone has been wonderfully kind.

Mum has been using the Day Care facilty for the last four years. She absolutely loved every minute there and even said she wished she could take her bed. Sadly the time has come for her to move into residential care and she was very sad having to say goodbye to her friends and her amazing carers who
all gave her a lovely send off. The carers are obviously Angels on loan. Thank you all so very much for your dedication and being Mums friend xxx

My husband was cared for following a fall that resulted in a hospital stay. What a relief to find the wonderful care he received upon leaving the hospital for respite/rehabilitation, which gave me such peace of mind. He had a lovely en-suite room that was ideal for someone with Dementia, including a
bell that sounded when he got out of bed to give a warning to the staff. The lounge/dining area is well furnished with comfortable chairs and tables
Most of all it was lovely to see the loving care the staff were giving to the residents. The grounds with their trees and flowers are a credit to the gardener, so tranquil, my husband even went to feed the ducks!
The whole area was spotlessly clean. During my husband's stay, it was our Diamond Wedding Anniversary the manager kindly said we could make use of the coffee lounge for a small get together of friends.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home.

My father has resided at Davenhams for 6 years now & is well settled. He knows most of the staff who attend to him & they know him with his little quirks. I live in London, so my link is long distance, but I try to visit as often as I can. My father is bedridden & the carers feed him & turn him regularly
due to bedsores. He says to me he's content, but has said to his carers on several occasions that he wants to 'go', but his body won't let him. Overall, as far as I can tell from my too infrequent visits, I'm happy with the care he's receiving, including from the local community nurses.

My grandmother, who is living with Alzheimer's, attended Friends of the Elderly Wallington Day Care for just a few weeks - but in that short time, the difference it made to her (and to us as a family) was truly remarkable.
From the very first day, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly understanding
of her needs. They created a safe, stimulating, and compassionate environment where she felt not just cared for, but genuinely valued. Every time she returned home, she was smiling, engaged, and eager to share little moments from her day - something we hadn't seen in a long time. Even though her time there was brief, she absolutely loved it, and we felt a huge sense of comfort knowing she was in such capable, kind hands. The team clearly go above and beyond for every person who walks through the door.

Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. It was a pleasure to know your grandmother, even for the short time she was here. She was a lovely lady, and we wish you all well for the future.

New Copford Place Residential Care Home

Looking for a care home at short notice wasn't easy, especially when not having any previous experience. We feel so fortunate to have found New Copford Place. It's like a big, happy family with several, long-standing employees. All aspects of the staff - carers, cleaners, laundry, kitchen, office
and maintenance are consistenly cheeful and friendly and the home is always clean and fresh. Our mum is really well cared for and loved by everyone and it's clear to us that the staff love what they do. The rooms may not be the biggest and the facilities may not be the best, but to us this is a secondary factor. Our only other observations are that it seems to take a while for work on the home to get done once decisions are made, but that's probably because we don't understand the processes involved. Also, that although the gardens are lovely, it would be nice if they were more accessible. Overall New Copford Place is just a very pleasant place for our mum to be and for us to visit.

Thank you for your lovely review. We love having your mum here with us, she's always so lovely and polite. And indeed, it may look like certain things take a while to start, but that's because we need to make sure everything is done in a safe way for everyone. I'll pass your kind words to our staff team, I'm sure they'll be happy to know their work doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you. Home manager

My mother lived at The Lawn from July 2023 to March 2025 when sadly she passed away. Throughout her time here, she always received great care from lovely, kind, professional staff who went above and beyond. The manager was always ready to listen to any concerns I had, and all staff at all levels were
genuinely very fond of Mum and shared our sadness when she died at 97 years old.
Reply from Alina Gutu, Care Home Manager at The Lawn Residential Care Home
