The care staff at the residential home are particularly kind and caring. They are keen to accomodate any needs. They managed to find us a tasty roast dinner and pudding at very short notice when our plans fell through and we were unable to take my father in law out for a meal. Very much appreciated

My experience of the care that my dad receives at New Copford Place Care Home is exemplary. My dad is now in his second year as a resident, the carers and support/ management team are very diligent, providing a safe and secure environment for all residents. The activities and entertainment providing
the residents with stimulation and engagement.
The facilities are warm and comfortable with plenty of natural light, a very relaxed environment with attentive and engaging carers.
The management team are receptive to feedback and look to resolve any issues efficiently.
Many of the carers are long term serving staff providing continuity of care and contributing to reliving high standards of care in a happy environment.
Dad's room is very cosy and nicely set up to meet his needs, playing music from his LP collection and having a good old sing along.
Dad enjoys his food which is always a good sign

The Care Home manager is excellent. She is always friendly, courteous and understanding of any concerns that we may have regarding my Mother-in-law who has been a resident there for 9 months. We are always kept up to date with any medication changes, kept informed if she is unwell and they are very
proactive in their care. We know that she is in safe hands at this difficult stage in her life.
My Mother-in-law isn't very sociable, she is taken down to lunch each day which she enjoys but will not participate in any of the numerous activities put on for the residents. I know that we made the right choice by choosing Redcot which is our nearest Care Home.
Reply from Latasha Jarrett, Home Manager at Redcot Residential Care HomeThank you Daphne for this lovely review and your kind words. It is our please to look after your Mother-in-law, and your input in to the home is very much appreciated and valued by all the residents you stop and talk to when you visit.

Mum (92) has been visiting the Bradbury Day Centre 4 days a week for over a year and I have nothing but the utmost praise for all the happy, friendly staff and for the support they have given her. I have visited several times, unexpected, and have found staff holding bingo, quizzes or singalongs. The
atmosphere is friendly, supportive and totally uplifting. The staff have so much energy and they project so much happiness it's hard not to get involved with them.
My mum is Italian and, with her Dementia/Alzheimer's, has reverted to speaking in her original language - although she understands and speaks English! This did not diminish her enjoyment of being at the day centre at all. On the days she does not attend, she always asks when she is next going which is a really good indication to me that she enjoys her time there.
This day centre is absolutely wonderful. I would not hesitate in recommending to my friends and family.

Friends Place is outstanding in every way. After an impressive visit when it first opened, my husband and I spent two wonderful nights there. We were well looked after in lovely surroundings. He then began to go for day care and short respite periods. When it became impossible for me to meet his needs
at home, we didn't have to start looking for somewhere suitable. He went to Friends Place for a month's respite, followed by a review. He is now a permanent resident and the staff are doing their utmost to give him personalised care, including creating a growing area for him outside his patio door. He is very well fed and encouraged to join in all the activities. The atmosphere is vibrant, with lots of laughter. Well-trained staff - such a caring team.
Reply from Alina Gutu, Care Home Manager at Friends PlaceThank you for such a thoughtful and generous review. We are delighted to hear that the experience-from the initial visit through respite and now as a permanent resident-has been so positive. It is especially pleasing to know that the team's commitment to personalised care, including creating outdoor space for gardening, has made a meaningful difference. Providing a warm, vibrant environment where residents feel well supported, well nourished, and encouraged to engage in activities is at the heart of what we do, and your feedback affirms this. We will be sure to share your kind words with the team.

My Mum has been living at Friends Place for 4 months and we are delighted with the wonderful care and respect shown to her (and her fellow residents) on a daily basis by the staff. All staff are kind, patient and deeply committed to the wellbeing of each resident through the provision of highly personalised
support. I have visited frequently and in all visits I see first hand exceptional care provision.
In addition, the facilities are superb. The rooms are spacious and modern providing plenty of storage and shelves to display photos, books, etc which means the rooms can be personalised for each resident. The open plan dining room/lounge on each floor provides a lovely social/dining area which is superbly used for meals, events, entertainment and activities. Residents are well supported to participate in activities whilst also having the freedom to choose how much/little they engage depending on how they feel each day.
Mum describes Friends Place as a big family. We are delighted.
Reply from Alina Gutu, Care Home Manager at Friends PlaceThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. Your recognition of our staff's kindness, patience and dedication is especially appreciated-we are incredibly proud of the compassionate culture they create. It's also wonderful to hear your feedback on the facilities and environment, as we aim to make every space both comfortable and homely, allowing residents to truly make it their own. Thank you again for your support and for taking the time to share your experience. It means a lot to us.

It is a pleasure to visit Mum in Perrins House. Since moving in last year, she seems content and comfortable, despite her confusion. The staff are kind and caring, and the nursing care is excellent. Mum enjoys the meals provided; the staff encourage her to eat in the (very pleasant) dining room. Although
she sleeps a lot, the staff encourage her to go along to the activities on other days, which she enjoys, so she is getting some stimulation during each week.
Reply from Jo Bennett, General Manager at Friends of the Elderly Malvern (Bradbury Court, Davenham and Perrins House)Thank you so much for your thoughtful and kind review. My brother has been in Bradbury Court for over 4 years - during which time his condition has deteriorated, and he now needs full support in every aspect of day to day living. He is always clean and well catred for each and every time I visit him. The staff are so caring, and nothing is too much trouble.
The atmosphere is always cheerful and calm, run by extremely experienced, well trained staff. Every area is bright, full of familiar items, making it a wonderful home from home. I would recommend Bradbury to any family looking for excellent care for a loved one.

the range of daily activities which are varied and

My Mother has dementia and attended the Malvern Day Care Centre twice a week for a couple of years prior to going into a home recently.
She very much benefitted from her days there - it gave her a much needed boost and she was always saying how much she enjoyed the food, activities and company. I
cannot praise Linda, Shirley and their team enough for their care and support. They consistently went over and beyond in order to help mum, and us too, at a difficult time in her life which was invaluable, particularly as we do not live locally.
A huge and heartfelt thank you from us all - we will miss you!

Fantastic care home!! Within 2 weeks the staff asked if it was ok for my mother to "help" by doing small chores. This is absolutely what my mum loves to do and I was very impressed that the staff had got to know her so well so quickly!
Communication has been consistently excellent and the nurses have
spotted mum was unwell very quickly indeed and arranged GP visit/medication pick up.
The care home is kep immaculately clean, the food is delicious and the staff all make everyone feel like part of the family.
It's wonderful to know how well my mum is being taken care of, a massive thank you to Friends Place for everything. Highly recommended!!

FOTE was one of a number of residential settings viewed and stood out as a home that was authentic and held the residents and their families central to everything they do.
Initially mum went into Bradbury Court for respite care for two weeks; however, to our amazement she settled in very quickly
nd enjoyed the company of the other residents and staff. Seeing her content, well cared for and feeling safe helped us make the decision that was best for her and that was to remain at Bradbury Court.
The care she received was outstanding, there are a small number of residents who are cared for by staff who genuinely care and take the time to get to know every residents little ways and likes and dislikes. It really is like one big happy family with staff, residents and families all interacting together during activities or just spending time in the lounge areas together.
Food is delicious and plentiful, the house itself is beautiful and the grounds are a delight to wander.

Mum is 95 with dementia and limited mobility. She moved from domiciliary care to Perrins House a year ago. We looked at many homes in the area and are really happy that we chose Perrins House. The staff are capable and friendly and are genuinely concerned to keep her safe, healthy and happy. Staff
turnover seems to be low, which gives consistency and means the staff get to know the residents. The building is wheelchair friendly and the beautiful gardens are accessible. We are free to come and go as we like and always feel welcome. I particularly like the ambience of Perrins House, it's not trying to be a country house hotel but nor does it feel like a care home. It's spacious and nice touches like good china and tablecloths make it feel homely. The range of activities is good, carefully planned and shaped around the residents. I am happy that we made the right decision and have found the best place for mum to feel at home and be well cared for and contented.

Our care home is lovely. There is always something going on to stimulate the residents with plenty of options to opt out. The staff are so friendly and obviously fond of the residents. We are so lucky to have found this care home to look after our loved one and so grateful.
The home is so clean,
they have introduced murals depicting times pasted. They display menus for the day, they take an interest in relatives. Absolutely spot on, feels like you are part of one large family.
