Thank you to all the members of Staff at Little Bramingham care home who have helped Mum settle into her new home .
Everyone wears a smile and is kind, caring and understanding and I am always warmly welcomed when visiting Mum . I am amazed at
the range of daily activities which are varied and stimulating ,with everyone encouraged to join in . My Grand daughters especially enjoyed the Easter fun morning which was open to the Community which I felt was lovely for the residents .
The home cooked food in the dining room always looks delicious and it is an added bonus that family members and friends can stay and have lunch .

What a wonderful place , so very lucky to have found you . Thank you

Our care home is lovely. There is always something going on to stimulate the residents with plenty of options to opt out. The staff are so friendly and obviously fond of the residents. We are so lucky to have found this care home to look after our loved one and so grateful.
The home is so clean, they have introduced murals depicting times pasted. They display menus for the day, they take an interest in relatives. Absolutely spot on, feels like you are part of one large family.

Thank you

On the 24th of February 2025, I was involved in a road traffic accident which sadly resulted in the loss of my right leg below the knee. Over the following month, I was treated and transferred between four different hospitals before eventually being offered a place at Little Bramingham Farm care home in Luton.
Since arriving here, I have felt nothing but care and kindness, The staff are always willing to help, and everyone is friendly and supportive. The food is excellent and I feel both safe and truly cared for. I already feel very much at home here, and would like to consider this my permanent home. There are lots of different activities to take part in, and I also have the freedom to go out when I choose, with carers kindly offering to accompany me if I wish.

I feel very fortunate to be here. Everyone is wonderful, and I am deeply grateful for the care and support I receive.

Mother-in-law has been a resident for just over 3 years. She is dementia and not mobile but she always seems happy with her care. She always looks clean and tidy, as do all other residents. The care home is beautifully clean and tastefully decorated. The staff always seem happy and caring - like a family. They engage extremely well with local organisations - children's nursery come in, local college look after garden crops, church etc. Always lots going on for residents and their families. Residents - regular programme of entertainers, keepfit, bingo, large tablet etc. Events - halloween and christmas etc for all, cheese and wine for resident family with full report of all.

We are incredibly grateful to Little Bramingham Farm for the wonderful care they have been providing for dad since March 2024. From the very first day, the staff have shown compassion, professionalism, and genuine kindness, making us feel confident that he is in safe and caring hands.
The attention to detail and personalized care he receives truly makes a difference. It's comforting to know that he is being looked after with such dedication and respect.
The environment is warm and welcoming, and there's a focus on resident's wellbeing with movement and keep fit sessions, an on-site hair salon and numerous events from nursery school and therapy dog visits to art and craft sessions.

We highly recommend Little Bramingham Farm to anyone seeking a caring and nurturing home for their loved ones. Thank you to all the staff for your outstanding care and support.

I can't speak highly enough of the wonderful care my mother receives at LBF. From the very first day, the staff have gone above and beyond to make her feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. It gives our family such peace of mind knowing that she is not only well cared for physically, but also emotionally supported and treated with kindness and respect. The carers are incredibly attentive, patient and genuinely compassionate. They take the time to get to know each resident personally, and it shows in the way they interact with mum. Whether it's helping with daily routines, keeping her engaged with activities, or just sharing a laugh and a chat, the team's warmth and dedication never go unnoticed. The home itself is always clean, welcoming, and filled with a sense of calm. Meals are nutritious and thoughtfully prepared, and we're regularly updated about mum's wellbeing, which we deeply appreciate. I'm truly grateful to all the staff for the incredible work they do everyday.

Our mum came to Little Bramingham farm in May this year for respite and now permanent care. As a family we chose the home initially above all other homes we visited because it's focus and culture of top quality care and it's a real feeling of being a home from home. Mum loves the care and attention she gets from a great team of experienced professionals. Every day without fail she comments on how lovely they are and how they care for her needs. From the chef (who makes great omelettes) to the carers and the support team incl the hairdresser. What stands out most at this care home is how experienced, passionate and longstanding the whole workforce is. There is little turnover and their individual desire to support the residents comes out in many ways. It's the little chats and touches which make them stand out like helping mum choose coordinated clothes and hats!! Which she loves.

I'm just writing to express my thanks and appreciation for the care you and your staff have shown my mum, since she arrived at your care home. This is a difficult time for her and whilst she's still adjusting to her new environment it's comforting to see the attention given and the different activities that are provided to help her feel welcome. During our visits to see mum, your staff have always made us feel welcome and we've been able to enjoy the varied areas that have allowed either a more communal or private visit depending on how mum has been feeling.

Once again a big thankyou.

Little Bramingham Farm is an excellent care home. Mum was a resident here for just over a year before she passed away and in that time she was cared for wonderfully and kindly. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and treated my mum as part of the Little Bramingham Farm family. We were kept informed of all aspects of her health and at the end we were able to stay in her room with her for as long as we needed. I can't recommend this care home enough.

A fantastic care home. The ethos of Friends of The Elderly Charity that runs Little Bramingham Farm shines through. Not-for-profit but for care, for the residents, for the relatives, and for the staff. My mother, a resident since December 2021 smiled a lot there and as a family, we always knew my mother was safe, content, and loved. The food is excellent, links with the community are phenomenal, activities are balanced and it is a fun and joyful place to visit. My mother passed away recently at Little Braminham Farm, I was with her and I am so grateful that as a former manager herself of a care home for Hertfordshire County Council for over twenty years we were able to find somewhere as lovely as Little Bramingham Farm for her.

My Mum has been resident here for 3 years until passing away. The care provided to the whole family has been exceptional. The staff are kind and very caring. The home is comfortable with a range of activities and beautiful grounds. Having confidence in the care provided has allowed me to be able to visit grandchildren abroad with peace of mind.
The home is well-led. Comments from other agencies such as district nurses have always been very positive.

At what can be a very difficult time for elderly people who can no longer live in their own homes, I think most would be very happy at Little Bramingham Farm.

When our mother's health declined rapidly. Staff at the home notified us immediately. My brother and I were able to stay in our mother's room constantly until she died in our arms. We cannot thank all the staff for enabling a peaceful, dignified end to her life. Everyone looked after us - feeding us, ensuring we could freshen up, and most importantly giving us all the support, love and care we needed. Mum didn't want to go to hospital - and the home ensured that her wish was granted. Mum was so happy at Little Bramingham Farm; you guys are the best! Thank you, everyone.

We as a family had to make some difficult decisions for Mum's care. We looked at a few care homes in the area and when we found Little Bramingham Farm we knew straight away that Mum would be happy here. They offer respite care and we thought we try this for a while to see if Mum liked it. We know that Mum would have preferred to stay at home but this was not possible for her. Mum settled in well. The staff are very caring and thoughtful so we felt at ease to make Mum's place there permanent. They helped Mum settle in and supported our family. We knew we had made the right decision as she seemed very happy and had made some friends. Mum's room was lovely and had all that she needed to feel at home. We have been very happy with Mum's care and there are always activities going on to keep the residents happy and cared for. Mum has passed away recently and all the staff and carers were lovely and supported us through this sad time. We are really pleased we chose Little Bramingham Farm for Mum.

Not having been in a care home before, I was quite nervous; however, after the first day, I settled in very well. I felt safe and secure 24/7. The staff were wonderful, so caring and patient, right from the kitchen staff, cleaners, pharmacists and management. They checked on me during the night. Whatever I required, the carers were there for me. The room I had was small but was used for respite only. The cleanliness was first class, and that also included having my laundry washed and dried. The entertainment was very good. I would definitely recommend this care home. Its efficiency is the first call, and I'm considering going again and maybe becoming a full-time resident.

We had taken the difficult decision to place Mum in full-time care, as it was not safe for her to be alone at home anymore. After visiting Little Bramingham Farm with Mum to have a look around, we were offered respite care within a few days. We extended the respite care while Mum was getting used to the major change in her life and then made the decision to make her stay permanent. All of the staff are excellent and get to know the residents and their needs so quickly. Mum is enjoying the activities, especially the visit from a famous fictional bear and the toddlers too. We could not ask for better care. Thank you all at Little Bramingham Farm.

Our mum was a resident at Little Bramingham Farm for the last 18 months. Sadly Mum passed away on the 17th December 2023. The 18-month-old Mum was there she was very happy and loved the small family feel to Little Bramingham Farm unlike big care homes. The daily activities are always fun from the singers they have to the exercises. From the management to the carers to the cleaners to the kitchen staff the care and love they gave our mum was outstanding, I can't fault it. The care and dignity and respect all the staff gave my mum in her final days was superb and they always came in and said goodnight to her at the end of their shift, you could tell there was true affection there for our mum, it was very emotional at times. I would recommend Little Bramingham Farm to anyone who is thinking of a care home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the staff at Little Bramingham Farm.
