All the staff are extremely caring, friendly and helpful. Feeling of space and variety of pleasant communal rooms overlooking Lion Green to see life, even if confined to the home. Visitors always welcomed at all times.

Since dad arrived here we have all been impressed with the care, support and excellent help he has received. All the staff are excellent and it would be nice for them all to know how much their support is to all of my dads family.
Dad enjoys his days here and is always complimentary of his food, outings
and help/support given to him.

All staff at Chestnut View are very friendly. It is a very safe environment. When we visit it is very friendly - staff, residents, even the cook. Me and my husband visit once a week and we always feel very welcome here.

What a wonderful care/nursing home. My husband has been cared and loved by these wonderful people for over 2 and a half years now. They are all like my extended family. I have recently had to make the decision to place my mother who is 97 into a care home and there could only be one choice for our family
and this is the best choice "Chestnut View" Haslemere. Outstanding care and love from the manager and all her staff. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I came to the Chestnut View Care Home last October from the hospital on palliative care due to a liver failure. My two daughters told me that the specialist at the hospital had given me about 2 weeks to live. Due to the fantastic care is given to me in this care home and the marvellous food, my appetite
improved and my liver and kidney readings improved. After that, I was diagnosed with cancer of the right tonsil, had 5 radiotherapy treatments and I can walk now! This Chestnut View Care Home is absolutely brilliant in all ways and my two daughters help is very valuable as well. I'd give this care home 1000% out 100%

I like the active part of the home, there is always something to do. I am a very active person and I have never been stopped to do what I like. The staff here is semi-skilled and that's what I like about Chestnut View.

This home in the beginning of my aunts care which was four years ago was good, due to several changes of management it was poor. The new manager has picked the place back up to it's initial good standard. The staff have been excellent and some should be commended very caringly indeed.

My father-in-law's abilities have deteriorated but the care he receives is excellent. The staff patiently feed him and try to understand what he is trying to say to them.

My mother was first in the normal unit, then when it became clear she was showing signs of dementia, she moved into the more secure dementia unit. She spent almost 2 years in the unit and died in her own room surrounded by kind and caring staff she thought of as family. My daughter and myself were made
to feel as if it was our home too.
We miss them all now mum has gone. Her room was always clean and the plants watered. Mum's clothes were washed and kept clean. She always enjoyed her food and was fed by a carer as her sight was very poor. I can't thank the lovely staff enough.

Arrived by ambulance from hospital, the bed was not ready, had to wait with ambulance while a new mattress was obtained. Deposited in bed okay. Dressings on my heel fracture are roughly every 2 days and I wear a splint boot, so I am very comfortable after 4 weeks here.

I find Chestnut View has a caring, cosy environment. Mum is treated with dignity and respect by all the staff. I am made to feel very welcome when I come to visit Mum and feel like it is a second home for Mum.

Whilst my friend was there for end of life care, during the last few weeks of his life he was given the very best of care. All members of staff gave him his wife and friends all the care and support beyond duty. My friend, wife and friends were treated with dignity at all times. We have been told even
after he died they would be there for us if we needed them. It has a wonderful, happy and serene atmosphere with a friendly smile and great understanding.
