Wingham Court Care Home

My son has needed a lot of support and understanding and staff have been very caring and supportive. This especially includes housekeeping staff who have gone out of their way to help and be respectful of his needs.

The care and support that my brother received at Wingham Court was second to none. It was not only the staff on Elm Ward who dealt with some very difficult situations with great respect and patience but all of the staff in the home. I am extremely grateful.

Relaxed atmosphere, cheerful staff who are doing an excellent job even though it is very often not easy for them. They always recognise me and remember my name. The Activities Organiser works tirelessly to offer a very varied programme of events, sports, participation activities which are tailored to individual residents' interests and capabilities. There is a definite air of caring about this home.

Our son has settled so well and now sees the residents as his family. The senior staff are most helpful and will see to any problems that may arise.

My daughter is very happy at Wingham Court. The staff are very friendly and helpful, overall we are happy with the home.

The bedroom my brother is in does not have enough storage for his personal care items that he needs to have. His wardrobe is overtaken with them, it should be used for his clothes which are squeezed into a small space. There is room to put up shelves, with a blind to cover just outside the bathroom, these rooms need to be upgraded to cope with the needs of the resident.

I feel that the care and support provided to my uncle to be very good, and most importantly he is happy there.

All the staff are warm, friendly and very helpful. My son's room is large and well equipped and has a lovely view of the garden. Lots of activities, dogs are very welcome.

I've moved into the home and have been to many places and the warmth and helpful staff here are the best I've (ever) had. I'm a nervous person and in pain, they have gone out of their way, again and again, I can't ask for more.

I like the staff, they are very good. The food is nice. My room is good. It is a large room and has a lovely view to the gardens. There is a snooker table.

We are very happy with Wingham Court Care Home. The care our son receives is first class, the physio that is on offer, there is never a lack of things going on that he could participate in. The helpfulness and care provided by staff, the food is very good and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

I didn’t think there’s a better care home than Bupa in Washington Court.

The staff are generally very caring and do their best for me. I feel comfortable and safe.

Very caring home, clean and the food always smells lovely. The staff are always there to help and assist with any needs.

All the staff at Wingham Court have made not only my cousin completely welcome but also taken care of his every need and also been very delightful to talk to. They also explain everything properly in regards to treatment or medication needs so my cousin can have the best results. I am incredibly happy with their service. I would definitely recommend their service.

Excellent care home. Clean, tidy and friendly residential home. The staff are cheerful and helpful, extremely approachable and say hello to all! Physio is first class. The home also has a range of activities and themed entertainment of all sorts.

I am extremely pleased with my mothers care, when I assist to feed her the meals look so nice and smell great. She is always clean and presentable, I see the care staff tend to her needs, if she is ratty they may turn off the tv so she can calm down, put movies on that she likes to watch, brush her hair away from her face. When I'm at home it puts my mind at rest that my mum is well taken care off. Thank you all.

I like being here most of the time. I enjoy organising the things for the residents and I like being on the residents coming and get on well with the staff most of the time.
