Mum has been very well cared for since she has been at Adelaide House. The staff are very kind and caring and Mum is happy which is the main thing.
First-class home. Staff are friendly and helpful, have been so kind. Great team, can't thank them enough in this short time, no concerns with my mum's care.
Adelaide House is a very cosy, homely, welcoming place. The staff are absolutely lovely - so friendly, patient and caring. The Manager is very approachable and extremely helpful. My mother lived here for the last 2 years of her life until she passed away, aged almost 103. She was wonderfully well looked after and it was always a pleasure to visit her here and to see how fond the staff were of her. I always knew she was in good hands.
Having been my husband's only carer for 14 years, I felt NO ONE could or should touch him, I knew best. I can't explain this as only the two of us and are very close. He's only been here for a few days and I was talking last night to my friend and said to her that he is "in safe hands" and I really meant it - beautiful home, lovely people all that I've met are really lovely. I can't say more but I am truly relaxed now, I can slow down.
I have recently visited a client of yours who previously was at another care home which I feel was understaffed. The difference in my friend is remarkable. He looks happier and so much healthier and seems to have a goal that they can work towards and is being a reality ie to go home.
Friendly and homely, helpful residence.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice décor and homely.
This afternoon, December 18th, there was a Christmas Tea Dance, and, it was excellently arranged and executed by the events manager at the home. Really enjoyable and well attended, mum thoroughly enjoyed the old songs as well as the Christmas ones. Many thanks.
My aunt is so happy here. She was very unwell in hospital but here she is cared for. Everyone is lovely and easy to talk to. It is clean, the food is good. There is always something going on. My aunt is smiling this is a great home.
Food very nice but can depend on the chef in the kitchen.
Have seen some agency recently but have seen some nice new staff also.
I visited my neighbour at Adelaide House. What a lovely home. Staff are so friendly and helpful, everyone seemed happy. My neighbour loves it. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely rooms. The manager is very friendly.
Bright and happy. My mother was here and my husband was here twice. Gone up in practice, flowers and pretty pictures.
The bathroom is always clean but would like to see the bedroom dusted and clean.
I would come here.
Very glad you are here.
Well, what a wonderful home. Caring, fun, feels like a big family home. Lovely carers, so friendly and kind. Nothing too much trouble. I could hear lots of laughter and the cakes were wonderful for afternoon tea. There were singers and visitors. Everyone having fun. I am very impressed. Thank you.
Our family have been extremely impressed with the level of care provided to my mum. Everyone has been very kind.
I have found the staff to be extremely helpful and kind. The facilities are very good. My mother is very happy here.
Very caring and professional environment. Lots of activities. We are really pleased and surprised how well she become since moving in.
I am very happy with the care my mother receives at Adelaide House Care Home and have complete confidence that she is in the best possible place for her care needs.
This is just my second visit to my mother. She has been here for a couple of weeks. I live in the US and am over for a week. The two things that came across most strongly were 1) the kindness and care exhibited by staff members and 2) how comfortable my mother was in a place that is not her home. I could get into more detail after a few more visits but these were my first impressions.
I find that the care staff treat Mum with respect. There is always an activity to take part in if she wants to and the nursing team are very attentive, keeping us informed of any medical issues we need to be aware of. Administration can sometimes be a bit slow, but the manager is always happy to step in with assistance to resolve queries and is proactive in filling vacancies quickly as the home overall runs smoothly.
My mother-in-law has been cared for in Adelaide House since December 2015. We could not be happier with the care she receives and the fantastic team looking after her.
A big thank you to the manager, nurses, caring staff and cleaners for their dedication.
