Barchester Corrina Lodge Care Home

I visited a friend and we had afternoon tea served in the dining room. It was a lovely treat with all the items you would expect: finger sandwiches, scotch egg, scones with butter, jam and cream, Eccles cake and chocolate cake, everything homemade, and as much tea and coffee as you could drink, there was even a glass of Prosecco if you wished. The staff were very friendly throughout and made the afternoon a delightful occasion.

The nursing and carers at Corrina Lodge have looked after my brother extremely well as his MS has continued to progress. His room was well decorated and he was treated with dignity and respect.

For anyone looking for a care home for a loved one, I’d really recommend booking a visit to Corrina Lodge and seeing what they have to offer and speaking to some of the amazing staff there.

I have been resident at Corrina Lodge for coming up to four years now and can confirm that most things are ‘adequate’ but no more. Unfortunately, I have had trouble with the current manager, almost from when he started. He doesn’t seem to like answering questions about my care. I believe that he is overworking the poor care staff, who daren’t complain because most don’t have English as a first language and are terrified of the sack. If anywhere ever needed an active trade union, it is Corrina Lodge. Now, that manager has decided to issue a 28 day eviction notice against me with no proven accusations. I’m sure none exist, I asked to install CCTV at my expense to prove my impeccable behaviour and eviction is the result. At Christmas too! Incidentally, I have multiple sclerosis, not dementia, but I don’t expect the manager cares what it is.

I was really pleased when I first visited Barchester Corrina Lodge Care Home, I was shown around by the administrator officer, introducing me to some of the staff and showing me some of the facilities available to the residents. Also, I found the home very clean, tidy and well-decorated. I would certainly recommend this home to anyone looking to place their loved one here.

Really hate visiting my mum here, it really upsets me.

We thoroughly enjoyed my mum's anniversary celebration. The sandwiches were delicious and hats off to the chef as the cake was amazing. My mum and dad had a lovely day.

Had to put our mum into care, but very reluctantly. Only managed to see her in a very brief visit but impressed with the staff and care. Mum won't be able to take part in the activities but if she remains peaceful I will be happy.

My family and I are pleased with the care and attention my mother has received since moving into Barchester Corrina Lodge Care Home recently. The staff are so friendly and caring of all their residents and show much concern for family members at the difficult time of handing over care of a much-loved family member. Food, facilities and activities are amazing and the whole family enjoyed the recent teddy bears' picnic. A big thank you to every member of staff.

I wish to give Corrina Lodge in Camberley a 5 star review purley on the dedication and compassion the staff played in the last 9 years of my mothers life ( Rosalind Moore ) All the nursing staff, the aids, caregivers and activities staff made my mother feel loved and so well cared for. My mother passed at 103 years and she had no family members left in the UK. To everyone at Corrina Lodge I owe a huge amount of gratitude for all the love and care you showed towards my mother. My mum stayed for ten days in June while myself and my husband were on holiday. This is the second time she has stayed, and she thoroughly enjoys her time at Corrina Lodge. She likes having the residents to talk to, and all the staff are so kind, helpful and professional. She feels totally safe when she is there. She has the newspaper every day and has her hair done - she says it is like home from home. The food is excellent, and she always tells everyone. I would recommend Corrina Lodge to anyone who has a much-loved relative that needs to stay. Thank you to all the staff.

They dealt with my request to have my dad brought in for urgent respite care with dignity and respect. They made me feel (in a very emotional and fraught time) welcome and that Dad was welcome too. Dad has settled in well and is enjoying the excellent food served by inventive and well-balanced dishes. The nursing care is unbelievably wonderful with caring and kind staff at all levels. My dad is quite an introvert but he has become more involved in the activities provided by Corrina Lodge - but he loves the observatory where he can read and watch the birds in the garden in relative peace and quiet. All in all an excellently run care home with kind caring staff who always seem to be smiling. I'm very pleased that I managed to get my dad into Corrina Lodge.

Our late father spent the last 12 months of his time with us at Corina Lodge following a deterioration in his health. The home provided him with a safe and comfortable environment and, most importantly, access to 24-hour nursing care. We were kept well-informed throughout by the home and as a family, we are immensely grateful for the first-class care he received.

My mum has been a resident at Corrina Lodge for nearly a year. The staff are all lovely, caring, kind and welcoming. Her nursing care has been excellent. There are regular activities - the team are great. There is a lovely atmosphere and we are so glad that Mum is here and so well cared for.

Mum enjoyed her stay. Plenty of activities and lovely staff. It was good to know she had been well looked after and cared for whilst we were unable to be on hand and provide her usual support. Thank you.

My auntie went to stay at Corrina Lodge for two weeks of respite care. She was treated extremely well, like part of an extended family. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. My auntie was treated with the utmost dignity and respect. The staff were always polite and cheerful and even knew each resident by name. The chef organised for us all to share a delicious three-course meal in the conservatory. We would recommend Corrina Lodge.
