Corrina Lodge Nursing Home is an award-winning Nursing Home situated in leafy Surrey providing first-class residential and nursing care, alongside respite and short breaks.

Set in beautiful surroundings, the home is just two miles from the centre of Camberley, where residents can visit an array of local shops.

The home has wonderful landscaped gardens with outdoor seating and luxury spa bathrooms on both floors.

My daughter has been a resident of Barchester Corrina Lodge for ten years. As a family, we feel lucky that we found this home. Choosing a care home for a loved one is very daunting but we soon realised that Corrina is a family of staff who cares about their residents. They are treated with respect,
dignity and humour. Many of the staff who greeted us then are still working at Corrina now which tells its own story. All the staff are friendly and approachable, they cheer me up, I can't fault them. Always there to help and assist, my daughter is well cared for and above all, she is happy. Should I need to speak to our manager, his door is always open.

I believe the manager at Corrina Lodge Care Home is a good caring man who leads by example, this shines through to the staff at Corrona Lodge. Although things aren't always perfect, I feel the staff do the very best they can with the resources they have available. Most importantly I do feel my mum is
cared for with compassion.

My family and I were extremely happy with the team looking after our mum, from the day she arrived on 04/02/2022 until the day she died. They were kind and thoughtful with her from beginning to end. Everyone from cleaners, carers, nurses and management couldn't have been better.

A big thank you to the amazing staff at Barchester Corrina Lodge Care Home. You have all provided such excellent care for my mum while she was a resident. Both my brother and myself are eternally grateful. I was always greeted with a welcoming smile and such lovely kindness from the reception staff,
nursing and catering staff. You are what makes this place special. When my lovely mum passed away, the kindness and dignity provided was outstanding. Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Barchester Corrina Lodge Care Home gave my mum the most wonderful love and care in the last few months of her life. That care and thoughtfulness was also extended to us. Whenever we walked through the door we were greeted with smiles and warmth from every member of staff. I last visited my mum the day
before she passed away. I had taken some red roses although I don't think she was aware at that point. Mum passed in the early hours of the next day. When my brother went to visit that afternoon to pay his respects Mum's body was peacefully laid out on her bed surrounded by the red roses and the funeral director said when they went to collect her she had a rose in her hand for the journey. A memory I will always have.

Activities staff are first class - Dad is very limited, and they always include him. Very caring staff, but management needs to train new staff in Daf's learning device - understanding impact of his stoke etc. Always doesn't happen when new staff come in.

My granny is 96 and is bedridden now. The care she has received since she has been there is outstanding. The staff are amazing and can't do enough for her. We are so pleased we chose Corrina Lodge for her to spend her resting days.

The staff at Corrina Lodge really do go the extra mile, I visit every day and have consistently witnessed members of staff show genuine compassion and professionalism towards residents. I have found the reception welcoming and covid protocols upheld, which is reassuring. The carers and housekeeping
are constantly milling around and will offer additional assistance should you require it. The nurses will always find the time to answer any questions I have. The manager is committed and knowledgeable, and I have seen him come in even on his day off. The chef is very considerate and makes every effort to cater for mums particular needs, and I appreciate this. My mum is happy at Corrina Lodge, and I have peace of mind knowing she is in a safe and well-managed environment. Thank you so much.

Activities Team organised a really pleasant walk outing for my sister and other residents this week. Great to be able to join in and help with pushing wheelchairs.

After frustration caused by Covid restrictions on visits, I have been pleased to stay for 3 weeks of respite, in order to spend more quality time with my wife at Corrina Lodge. There, I saw the empathy and support given by many nurses and carers. Sadly, whilst there I have heard of the death of my younger
sister and I was touched by the personal concern staff showed me too. Sharing meals showed that my wife, even at 90, slowly feeds herself or has help from a kind carer. The food was great. Sitting in the garden we could hear laughter as the activities team cheered up those confined to their rooms. How pleasing to hear staff tell me how much they enjoy their work. They deserve a pay rise, I'm sure - as well as grateful appreciation from us all.

Existing residents seemed happy there. Admission and welcome were friendly and professional from the very start with all staff making a special effort to greet and deal with both residents and relatives in a warm and generous way.
Staff were always on hand to ensure that appropriate care was provided
and the residents' needs were met. Food and facilities were of a high standard and the whole environment had a homey feel to it, and the activities laid on were many and varied.

Every member of staff were helpful, polite, willing, warm, friendly and efficient. The premises were always clean, our room was always clean and aired. The staff were always busy attending to residents. (There was no idle chatter). Every carer was focused, serious and at the same time sensitive to vulnerable
residents. With time to smile and get to know residents personally. Mainly kindness stood out.

As you would expect, some staff are there to do a job and earn a wage, but there are others who are clearly invested in the well being of the residents. I was lucky enough to join a group on an outing (the first since lockdown) watching the way that residents were treated was wonderful, and the staff
were clearly thrilled at seeing my father laughing and happy. It's a memory I will cherish.

Having worked in health and social care for 15 years and managed various service types for over 10 years, I am very excited to be working for Barchester Healthcare and the amazing team at Corrina Lodge.


I have worked in Nursing, residential, dementia, neuro rehabilitation, learning disabilities, domiciliary care and specialist complex care and love the variety that every day brings.
I am passionate about person centred care, ensuring that everyone we support is made to feel special, respected, and comfortable for their stay with us.


My team at Corrina are outstanding, with a number of them having been here for 10 years or more, so they know the home, the residents and the Barchester way like no other. I am very lucky to be a part of such an amazing team and look forward to welcoming you to the home and showing you why we are Camberley’s best nursing home.

I graduated with a Bachelor Science in Nursing in the Philippines.
I came to UK on 2004 as a student and get my adaptation as RGN in UK.
Then I worked as RGN and then stepped up as Deputy within 3 yrs. Then I worked as Home Manager for 12 years. I support our Clinical Team to provide clinical guidance and knowledge to ensure excellent safe and excellent care.

Michelle Llaguno RGN is our Head of Unit, she served for many years as our trainer, operational lead and Care Practitioner. She has been and still is an amazing role model for our younger staff of how far you can come at Corrina Lodge.
Michelle is an exceptional Nurse and a fantastic leader. She also writes all the care rotas for all the staff every week.

Sharon Rickman

Job Title: Head of Activities Joined: 1997

Sharon has been at Corrina Lodge since July 1997 and is our longest serving staff member. She has been Head of Activity's twice and only relinquishing the role when she was raising her lovely children.
Sharon leads a very strong team of three coordinators supported by Gina and Alina. Sharon also now has quite a collection of volunteers and work experience students. Activities are huge at Corrina Lodge and Sharon thinks big and always follows through, we like to think that we give everything a try and the activity's that Sharon's team provide are incredibly well attended at Corrina Lodge.

Hello, I’m Mark and I have been elected as Chairman of our Residents' Committee. The committee meets every two months and we make lifestyle choices for the home.


I’ve lived at Corrina Lodge since 2017, and I have had so much support with activities that it has engaged my interest in all sorts of ways. My interest in art has resurfaced and I now pursue this hobby actively. I also really enjoy taking photos around the home using my iPad, which get uploaded on to our TV in the reception area and are a great talking point for visitors.


As a spokesperson for our community, I enjoy helping others, welcoming visitors and getting involved with all aspects of life here at the home. I come from a very large family; I am one of nine siblings. My family and friends visit often and have recognised that living at Corrina Lodge has greatly enhanced my life.

My name is Kathleen and I have worked in the care sector all of my working life. I beleive I have a good understanding of our residents needs and always do my upmost to accomodate them.
I love to make home cooked dishes from scratch and always promote a nutritional diet. I enjoy cooking traditional dishes that residents can relate to and look as good as they taste.
On the naughty but nice side I pride myself on baking some delicious cakes and biscuits for residents to enjoy.
