The care my mum is receiving is amazing. Unfortunately, my mum's mind and health are deteriorating, but the staff have managed effortlessly to adapt her care plan to meet her needs. The staff are warm, caring and I know my mum is safe. She is in good hands every single day.
Thank you for your lovely review. It means so much to know that you feel reassured that your mum is safe, well cared for and receiving support that adapts as her needs change. Thank you for placing your trust in our team.
Best wishes,Kristina
I am much happier knowing she is in such an excellent care home.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.
Best wishes,Kristina
My mother has settled in well at Emberbrook + loves all the staff who are always friendly, caring, kind + professional. She has a comfortable room with an attractive outlook. All areas are kept clean + tidy. The dining room is very pleasant + downstairs the cafe provides a quiet space with refreshments for visitors. This opens to a carefully tended + pretty garden filled with seasonal plants flowers shrubs which Mum enjoys visiting. There is a varied + entertaining programme of events each week enthusiastically rn by the activities team. Thank you Emberbrook for providing a safe haven for Mum at this difficult time in her life.
Thank you for your kind words and support. Warm regards,
Appreciate the attention given to my husband as an individual. The care staff make an effort to respond to the personality which is obscured by dementia.
Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback.
It means a great deal to hear that your husband is cared for as an individual and that our team have taken the time to understand your husband behind his diagnosis. Providing truly person-centred care is something we care deeply about.
Thank you again for your kind words.
Best wishes,Kristina
The home is very clean, staff smart and polite and professional. My wife is physically and mentally disabled and I'm sure demanding for the staff. She is confined to her room for long periods unfortunately and probably the only way that could be improved is if the staff could get her up daily and move her around the home This would be labour intensive and I appreciate the difficulty. I also wish there was a communication system between the room and staff but again appreciate this could put extra stress on the staff. Ideally it would be an improvement if there was cctv in the bedroom in order that it could be supervised 24/7
I highly recommend Emberbrook Care Home. The compassionate care given to my mother-in-law was exceptional these past 5 months, as she was treated with dignity and kindness. I visited often and observed the cheerful atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Thank you to all at Emberbrook.
Thank you so much for sharing this. We're so pleased your mother-in-law was cared for with such kindness and dignity during her time at Emberbrook Care Home. It means a great deal to know you felt that warmth and compassion each time you visited, and that the atmosphere in the home came across so...
As soon as my mum arrived, the health assessment was carried out, and it showed mum needed a better understanding of her needs and level of ability. Soon afterwards, mum started to become much happier and healthier and was given an extension on her life. Sally was a close worker to Mum. All the staff treated mum with respect and care. The staff made an effort to get to know her and the family. This meant a lot to all who visited Emberbrook, family or otherwise.
My mother passed away on 23/02/26. Her care during her brief stay at the care home was to the very highest standard. I was made to feel extremely welcome and comfortable during every visit. Gentle, kind and compassionate care was provided by the whole team. I would not have wanted for a better care facility, which is kept in immaculate condition, with each resident being given superb attention.
Very friendly staff (and helpful) greeted us and asked if needed any help.
Always a pleasant experience.
Thank you for your kind words! With all best wishes, Rosanna
My nan has settled in so well now and its nice to see her joining in some activities. She now communicated with us enjoying a treat and coffee in the downstairs cafe area. We play games with her and her great grandson thinks she is now funny and fun.
What a lovely review, thank you and best wishes, Rosanna
I am extremely happy with the care my close friend is receiving at Emberbrook. He loves his room and is comfortable and well looked after by the wonderful and caring staff.
Thank you for your kind words. Best wishes, Rosanna
I was worried at first having my wife in a nursing home but Emberbrook put me at ease and care for my wife very well and the staff are very caring and friendly and nothing is ever too much. I visit very regularly and everyone always speaks to me and my wife is always very happy in herself with the care being provided.
Thank you for your kind words. Best wishes, Rosanna
My husband has been a resident at Emberbrook for over 2 years now. All the staff have always been welcoming, respectful and caring. He spends the majority of his time in his room but if he needs assistance, the staff are always ready to help him. I feel confident leaving him in their care. It gives me peace of mind. The food is excellent and well presented on a tray. Tea/coffee is always available, as are snacks. I always feel very welcome when I visit. There are plenty of activities for those visiting to do them.
Thank you for sharing your experience of our home. Best wishes, Rosanna
The staff and nurses couldn't do enough and are so friendly and caring. Emberbrook is safe and I feel they care for mum with dignity and treat her so well. I am very happy with mum being at Emberbrook, she is very cared for.
Thank you for sharing your experience of our home and the care we provide. Best wishes, Rosanna
Since day one she has improved, she loves having people around.
She is now eating 3 good meals a day, loves going to the dining room for her meals.
Every day she is dress nicely and has been to have her hair done .
It's nice being able to just pop in and enjoy a cup of coffee with mum and the family are happy to see mum now join in conversations and laugh lots
Thank you for sharing your experience of Emberbrook. We're delighted that we have been able to play a part in the improvements in your mums' health and wellbeing. Best wishes, Rosanna
Dad has now been living at Emberbrook since September 2023 (22 months). Sadly he is now bed-bound but the care and attention he receives from the staff is first rate. At 104 he is the eldest resident and he is treated with great sensitivity and dignity. This may be a sad period of his life but as a family we very much appreciate the care provided to Dad. This gives us great comfort.
Thank you for sharing your experience and for choosing Emberbrook to care for your father. Your kind words are appreciated.
I have visited for the last one a a half years and have found everything excellent. Staff are kind, friendly and professional. The care is excellent!!
Hello, it is lovely to hear your experience of our home has been excellent! Kind regards, HM
Mum is well cared for with respect & dignity by all the staff and she always looks clean & tidy. We are always kept informed of any concerns and in turn, we feel comfortable to raise any issues ourselves.
Emberbrook has recently changed ownership & so far we are impressed with the works to improve & update the home.
We hope that they continue to value the staff their have inherited as they go above & beyond to keep our family members safe & happy.
Thank you to all of the staff for all your hard work, you are providing the love & care as if they were at home.
Thank you for your kind words it means so much to the team and me! Regards
My Mum has currently been a resident at Emberbrook for about a year now. She is very settled and happy. The staff are very welcoming, and are always happy to answer any questions and chat about Mum. I am impressed with the number of staff that are there to support the residents. I feel really confident that she has excellent care as she is physically and emotionally well. Mum has complex health difficulties that are managed well by caring staff. Emberbrook is homely and not too large...perfect for my Mum. The new owners are refurbishing the home and keeping it looking fresh. I have no hesitation in recommending Emberbrook as a safe and caring home for those who need care that can no longer be done at home.
Thank you for your review I am happy to hear your mother feels safe and cared for! Kind regards
Placing my friend of many years into your care was the best choice I ever made. She was not the easiest of people to help as she was so independent and and hampered with hearing issues too! She appreciated the food and activities when she wanted to and no one gave up encouraging her gently to attend activities. Sadly she recently passed away but the dignity and care provided to her during these last days was so sensitive and caring. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! Best wishes
