No problems with the home as it was chosen for her by the council. Been there since November 2021. 5-star I would say.

I did not expect my mother-in-law to go into a home and I did not choose this home for her. But I am more than happy with all the staff and other residents. Very helpful and friendly.

Mum has been a resident for over 3 years. Also, Dad was a resident from March 2022 to June 2022 until he passed. I feel lucky to have both here for a short time. The care and understanding given by the staff to both my parents is so good. Care staff are always happy to speak to me and always keep me informed. Nothing is too much for all the staff at the home. Thank you Emberbrook.

Emberbrook Care Home is a very welcoming and friendly care home for both residents and their families. The staff are cheerful, positive and professional and always available to discuss any issues. Visiting is flexible and encouraged, the rooms and facilities are first-class. I would certainly recommend Emberbrook Care Home to others.

My aunt was admitted to Emberbrook at the time of the first lockdown. This meant that we had to say our goodbyes to a bewildered, elderly lady. It was thanks to the way the Emberbrook staff picked up the baton, embraced and cared for my aunt that she came to be contented in her new surroundings, made new friends, and in doing so, the family felt more relaxed that my aunt was in good hands. I am indebted to Emberbrook for their genuine care towards us all.

When Dad entered the home in September 2020 we were pleased with it. Sadly Dad passed away in March 2022 but me, my mum and brother just wanted to say how kind, caring and compassionate all the staff were, not only throughout his time at the home but during his last days as well. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the staff in the Mole unit, from the carers to the cleaner and nursing staff. During his last week, I spent a couple of nights there and the nurse on duty even made up a bed for me next to Dad to make me more comfortable. Another night she helped us reheat a meal and gave us plates and cutlery. Dad was able to pass away peacefully in familiar surroundings, hearing the usual hustle and bustle and music of day to day life. We cannot thank you enough, what you offer is not five-star luxury but the care, compassion and cheerfulness offered by everyone truly surpasses that. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

My father has been at Emberbrook for 2 years now and the team looking after him really do treat him like family. So much so that when I needed to look for a placement for my mum recently it was the only choice I felt I could make. The whole staff from management down have made the process so easy and I can feel rest assured that both my mum and dad are now being looked after by the best staff I can think of. Their new room is beautiful and I can't wait to visit them more moving forward. Well done and huge thanks.

The staff at Emberbrook were so kind and caring during the Covid epidemic to my mum. When we were not allowed to visit, they became like family to Mum and ensured she maintained a good quality of life. During the last weeks of Mums life, the staff were so kind and caring, ensuring that Mum was cared for and comfortable. I really cannot commend them highly enough.

Emberbrook has been wonderful during what has been a very difficult year, well done, Emberbrook! My aunt has been well looked after by the amazing staff, and my thanks go out to every single member, nothing is too much trouble for them, and I am very appreciative of the care and support they give. I have been a resident family member for three years, firstly for my mum, who lived downstairs for two years and sadly passed away last year, and my aunt who has been a resident since July 2019 and lives upstairs, having moved from another local care home. I love the updates on Facebook! I have only put good on food/drink and management questions, as the manager is relatively new, and due to Covid restrictions, I have yet to meet them, and I have no knowledge of the food and drink that is served at present. However, I have no reason to comment negatively. I would have no hesitation in recommending Emberbrook to anyone.

I was most impressed with the home from the first time that I made contact. The staff genuinely appeared to care and this was demonstrated throughout my friend's stay at the home. They encouraged him to exercise to improve his strength and mobility, which enabled him to return home after an 8-month stay. I was advised of any issues as they occurred and I felt we worked in partnership to support my friend.

My 84-year-old mum had a stroke, followed by a heart attack, and upon discharge from hospital, she went into a nursing home - Emberbrook, in Thames Ditton. From my first interactions with Emberbrook, I knew mum would be in good hands. If I were to choose one word to sum up Emberbrook, it would be real - real warmth, real love, real interest, real people. It's refreshing to find somewhere where simple human interactions still count for something. When it comes to caring for people, this realness is what makes the difference. Thank you Emberbrook. I couldn't wish for anything better.

My mother became a resident of Emberbrook in May when her previous care home could no longer meet her needs. Her health was failing, she'd lost interest in eating/drinking and spent much of her time in bed! We really thought she would pass away soon. Within a few weeks of being cared for at Emberbrook, she had gained a new lease of life! She's put on the weight she had lost, is active again and is our happy mum again. I can't thank the Emberbrook team enough for the love and care they give!

My father arrived at Emberbrook from hospital at the start of the Covid-19 lockdown, which was very stressful for him and for us. The staff have been fantastic in settling him into his room and making him comfortable when we were not able to. He is now on end of life care and we could not wish for him to be in a better place. He is being looked after amazingly well and we are so grateful to everyone at Emberbrook.

My sister has been in the home for many months. She seemed to settle down with the help of the friendly staff quite quickly, also her room suits her needs.

I also find the staff really puts themselves out to please, however busy they are. As far as I am concerned, the home is great for my sister's needs and I am happy with all the facilities.
