My Mother resided at Emberbrook for 5 years and passed away this month. During her time there she was looked after with all the kindness and friendship one would want for any elderly person. She was made to feel part of their community and despite her considerable needs, the staff always had time for her and the caring attitude to make her life comfortable and interesting to her. Her medical and nursing care was of a particularly high standard. When coming to the end of her life she and the family were all treated with great sympathy and the Senior and staff nurses were always available to explain situations and so lead to a peaceful end. We could have wanted nothing more. Thank you to them all.

The overall care received is excellent. The carers are wonderful, looking after my father-in-law.

She was made extremely comfortable. The nursing staff were so caring and attentive. They always took the time to phone and consult me on any problems. I am very happy that we found Emberbrook and my cousin was so well looked after.

During the last 6 months when my mum was very poorly she needed round the clock nursing care, which was always excellent. It was difficult to see my mum so poorly but the staff worked together as a team to give comfort and support. Any worries I had were dealt with straight away, they seemed to genuinely care for their residents’ as well as the resident’s families. That was really nice.The Manager is very approachable and always on hand to help or to chat if you have any concerns, or just need some re-assurance, that makes such a difference.
