Knowle Park

The care and support given by all the staff has been exceptional both to my mother in law and us as a whole family. A lovely setting and a warm atmosphere especially in the circumstances with declining health, peaceful and caring. Thank you so much. Hospitality has been fantastic, well recommended.

Knowle Park, apart from its stunning location, has a wonderful, warm atmosphere. The team are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, they work well together and always look happy. It cannot always be an easy job. It's a five-star hotel run by a five-star team!

I have been a resident at Knowle Park for the last seven months. The level of care during my stay has been very good, although as a Parkinson patient aged 73, I have found the care regime to be tiresome at times. However, the enthusiasm and kindness of the carers has made up for my slowness in coming to terms with a total loss of independence.

Mum lives with us and attends Knowle Park for occasional weeks of respite care throughout the year. We have found the staff to be kind and helpful. Mum always returns home in good spirits and physically well cared for. She talks warmly about the staff and her rooms (particularly this August) have been generally cosy and homely. Sometimes TV and telephones haven't worked in Mum's room but this has usually been fixed reasonably quickly for her.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Premises and grounds are well maintained. Food is always well presented and tasty. Mum came for respite care and asked to stay full time.

They are now very settled and look so much better. We are thrilled at the level of care they receive and nothing is too much bother for any of the staff. I can thoroughly recommend Knowle Park as a caring and person centred care home.

Very friendly and caring staff are looking after my mother fantastically. The home is set in lovely grounds. All the rooms that I've seen are light and welcoming.

The care home has been brilliant. They have treated us like family through tough times and have ensured we have had support.

They have been patient with my mum and have treated her with the best care.

The care home does not normally care for cancer patients nor patients as young as my mum but they have done an excellent job with her physical and mental wellbeing.

Mum has been a resident here for four years and my father previously for 2 years. The standard of care has been consistently high and always exceeded other care homes we have had direct experience of in the same area.

All the staff here have always gone the extra mile with my mum, dad and with our whole family.

This has been my first experience of a nursing home - other than time spent in hospitals.

The staff members are all helpful and ready with a steady hand on the staircase etc where they can see a problem.

To have been a resident at Knowle Park for 18 months, during that time I have been gently encouraged to mix with residents and take part in activities and walks in the garden.

In the days following mum's death, all the staff we met gave their condolences.

Overall I would recommend Knowle Park to anyone who has need of a good nursing home.

I have was very impressed with every aspect of Knowle Park. Ma moved in on the 1st August 2017 and was welcomed by all. She settled in very well and grew to love all of the staff. It was a delight to see her face light up when a member of the staff entered her room. The care she received was excellent and we cannot thank Knowle Park enough for looking after her so well.

My father in law had to move suddenly to Knowle Park. All the staff were extremely welcoming. He was anxious about the move but the office staff, nursing staff, carers and dining assistants took great care and time to reassure him. They quickly learnt his requirements and he was very much encouraged to socialise with other residents and participate in activities. The carers and nursing staff were very kind and treated him with great respect. He was much happier there than at the previous home.

My husband had Ahlziemers and died there. Every care a consideration.

Both my parents have been residents at Knowle Park. My mother has been there from November 2014 until now and my father from December 2014 until August 2016, when he passed away. I have been delighted with all aspects of their care both nursing and social. All the staff are wonderful - professional and caring and the atmosphere in the home is lovely. The care shown to my dad and all our family at the end of his life was fantastic. I would recommend Knowle Park to anyone looking for a care home.

I've always found staff at Knowle Park very helpful and cheerful and kind to residents.

The home itself is clean, open and airy and set in beautiful grounds. It is a pleasure to visit and my mum is very happy there, which I think says it all.

Excellent care provided at all times by a team of highly professional and compassionate staff in an extremely comfortable, homely and friendly environment. My mother is cared for with great dignity and we as a family feel supported as well by everyone at Knowle Park Nursing Home.
