Since she has been a resident in your Bupa home, I have found it to be very satisfactory. When arriving at the home, always given a warm welcome, her room has always looked clean and tidy, and the atmosphere is calm and tranquil.

I have been here as a resident at Puttenham Care Home since Feb 2025 and have settled in very well. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and have always made me feel at home. I am just 93 years old this May, as I found coping on my own quite a problem with all the practical problems. I have a pediatric and H.V background and retired in 1988.

The staff always welcome my friends visiting, which helped me to settle down. I have a small room, but it is very cosy with photos etc. around it, and it is like home. I am lucky to be here.

We have visited our friend in this care home several times and have always been impressed with the friendly, cheerful attitude of the staff, which I am sure is not always easy to maintain. We would certainly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a good care home for a loved one.

Our mum was admitted to Puttenham Hill House Care Home in April. She arrived at lunchtime, and a hot meal and drinks were produced straight away.
Mum was bedbound and needed assistance with everything; which it was the kindness and upbeat caring nature of all the staff was touching. Nothing was too much trouble. Mum never wanted to go in a 'home', but she settled in straight away and even spoke about 'booking in for another week'.
Sadly, Mum passed away after 5 weeks. As a family, we were so glad she spent her last weeks in the comfort and care of Puttenham Hill House.

Thank you all.

Puttenham Hill house is truly wonderful and truly deserving of being in Bupas care home of the year final. I had the pleasure in being involved in the judging day when I was asked to send a message of appreciation that was played to my friend in the sweetest way possible and she was very overwhelmed. They always go above and beyond. The nursing team are skilled and dedicated with a multitued of talents and the care staff do just that, care.

Ali the manager always has time for everyone no matter what is going on and its so reassuring to know my friend is in such good care. Thank you to everyone at Puttenham Hill

Throughout the year that my mum spent at Puttenham Hill House, she was consistently treated with kindness, respect, dignity and compassion. The staff are fantastic and all provide a high standard of care. The nursing home itself has a welcoming and homely feel and is always spotlessly clean. The opportunity to spend time with a visiting PAT dog provides some lovely experiences for the residents. As a relative, I always felt very welcomed and supported through a difficult time. Thank you.

I have visited many care homes in recent years visiting friends and family but Puttenham stands out above them all in every way.
It's a real home from home which is full of life
The staff are always eager to please and treat us like family.
The manager always has time for everyone. The housekeeping staff are more than that and keep the home spotless. The male nurse has been a breath of fresh air. He is more than a nurse he has become a friend to my loved one and has a connection rare to come by!
The office staff are always on hand with a smile while no job is to big or small for the maintenance.
Although my friend doesn't take part in many activities by choice there is plenty to choose from.

Carry on the great work Puttenham, I look forward to many more visits. When I need it in the not too distant future I definitely know where I will be going!

Review from Joan W (Wife of Resident) published on 24 January 2025 Submitted via Postal Card

My husband has now been at Puttenham for just over a year and I am pleased this home was chosen for his permanent care. His problem is mostly a lack of mobility (he is 97), but he is able to join in most of the many activities provided which has led to companionship and keeping his brain active. He enjoys the food and the staff are excellent, caring, attentive and full of good humour, creating a really happy atmosphere for residents and visitors. Special occasions are recognised and the staff put a lot of effort into providing an environment to match - especially this year's Christmas Panto. The garden provides a lovely place to spend time in the summer months.

My uncle and auntie (brother and sister) were both residents at Puttenham Hill House for nearly 5 years and 3 years respectively. My cousins and I attended the crematorium today for the spreading of their ashes. Neither ever married and had lived together for over 80 years, the last few at BUPA's Puttenham Hill House. They are now together again RIP. The staff there are fantastic. My uncle and aunt could not have had better care, they were happy and content, with the best of nursing care, support - and lovely food. Thank you to everyone at Puttenham Hill House.

A huge thank you to the amazing team at Puttenham Hill House for looking after Dad so well following his knee operation. The two weeks post-op care allowed him to recover, build his strength and gain confidence before returning home to live on his own. All of the team are very friendly and courteous when dealing with a 92-year-old man who has lived on his own for a long while. The team quickly identified Dad's needs and supported him. I would also like to send my thanks to all at Puttenham Hill, their care has allowed Dad to build firm foundations so he can return to enjoying life more quickly.
