Puttenham Hill House provides round the clock residential and nursing care for short or long term needs. The home offers all forms of short stay care including palliative and convalescence.

Stays can be from a few weeks to experience living at the home, a month while recovering from an operation or a more long-term move. Advance bookings available (up to 6 months).

An elegant 1920s former private residence, Puttenham Hill House has spacious bedrooms and two beautifully decorated lounges and a large activities room.

Outside, the well-maintained grounds are ideal for wheelchairs. Residents can enjoy a little light gardening in the summer months. It feels very much like home, based in a peaceful area, surrounded by beautiful grounds and wildlife.

A wide range of nutritionally-balanced meals are freshly prepared daily and every effort is made to cater to individual tastes. Residents can either choose to dine outside in the summer when the weather permits, take meals in the dining room or in the comfort of the bedroom.

Puttenham Hill House is a small community with a friendly atmosphere. Regular meetings are held with residents and relatives to listen to views and ideas. And there’s no pressure to join in with activities; residents are always free to choose what to do.

The activities coordinator ensures that activities to suit all interests and levels of mobility are always available, from music concerts and exercise classes to history talks and reminiscence sessions.

My sister went to stay at Puttenham. My sister had been ill for a long time, they took such special care of her and to be honest more recently me as I have been treated for cancer. Such a great family atmosphere and obviously great care and food. My sister died peacefully in the best of care I couldn't
have coped myself. They are angels it must be so difficult.

Thank you to everyone at Puttenham Hill for helping to create such a happy and caring environment for my dad, in the last seven to eight months of his life. I will always be grateful, so caring cheerful and hardworking. Thanks also to the lads, it was nice to see one of the lads at dads funeral, I really
appreciated it. Many thanks to one of the carers for her enthusiastic efforts to get dad involved. Thanks to the carers for the chats about football, so many good people I shouldn't single anyone out you are all so wonderful.

My Granddad spent 5 years at Puttenham Hill House. The staff were attentive and encouraged him to become more involved in activities and making friends. The trips out of the home are well organised and appropriate and very much enjoyed by my granddad. The food always looked good and staff would always
be popping in to check on him whilst chatting and seeing if he wanted a drink or help to the toilet. I am very grateful to the support and information sharing of Puttenham Hill House and would recommend them to my family and friends.
