All staff were very kind and supportive to both myself and my friend throughout her time there. I also felt that Puttenham Hill House had a very homely feel to it which made us both feel at ease. Thank you.

We witnessed the practice of staff that goes way beyond the role that they are employed to do. We have seen genuine affection for our Mother, a hug or a peck on the cheek goes a long way when she was down or frightened. We believe that these actions have provided a sense of security and well-being when it was needed most. With all of the concern over medical issues, it is easy to overlook the need to keep mind and emotions stable as well. This is something that has been catered for in an exemplary manner by all.
I have a number of shining examples of this behaviour by staff.
Would you please pass our admiration and gratitude on to all of the team with our thanks.

Mum received excellent palliative care in the final weeks of her life. The staff, without exception, were kind, caring and thoughtful. Mum was treated with dignity and a great deal of kindness. Her room overlooking the gardens was well appointed, nicely decorated and peaceful. Choosing a care home for my dear Mum was something I had hoped never to do but she could not have been better cared for anywhere. I feel comforted knowing that her final days were comfortable and peaceful. Thank you to all the team.

My wife who is 63 years of age, was transferred to palliative care after spending 7 weeks in hospital. It was discovered that cancer had progressed to her brain causing seizures, acute memory loss and mobility problems. Having visited several care homes we decided that Puttenham Hill House would support my wife the best. It had a good feeling.
The level of professionalism, the kindness and understanding by all staff show to my wife, myself and our daughter. The palliative care team helped greatly in my wife's transition to palliative care for which I will be forever grateful. Thank you all!

Have found Puttenham Hill House friendly, efficient, professional and caring. They have been understanding and accommodating.
Thank you to everyone at Puttenham Hill for helping to create such a happy and caring environment for my dad, in the last seven to eight months of his life. I will always be grateful, so caring cheerful and hardworking. Thanks also to the lads, it was nice to see one of the lads at dads funeral, I really appreciated it. Many thanks to one of the carers for her enthusiastic efforts to get dad involved. Thanks to the carers for the chats about football, so many good people I shouldn't single anyone out you are all so wonderful.
My sister went to stay at Puttenham. My sister had been ill for a long time, they took such special care of her and to be honest more recently me as I have been treated for cancer. Such a great family atmosphere and obviously great care and food. My sister died peacefully in the best of care I couldn't have coped myself. They are angels it must be so difficult.
My Granddad spent 5 years at Puttenham Hill House. The staff were attentive and encouraged him to become more involved in activities and making friends. The trips out of the home are well organised and appropriate and very much enjoyed by my granddad. The food always looked good and staff would always be popping in to check on him whilst chatting and seeing if he wanted a drink or help to the toilet. I am very grateful to the support and information sharing of Puttenham Hill House and would recommend them to my family and friends.
