Sutton Lodge is ideally located with the centre of Oatlands and Walton on Thames being less than a mile away and just over a mile away from Weybridge Town Centre. The home is located on the A3050 which has multiple bus stops just 100m from the home, offering easy access for visiting families.
As an enhanced service to residents, weekly GP visits are conducted at Sutton Lodge Care Home, enabling residents to receive regular, personalised medical reviews as part of their approach to person-centred care.
Dietary needs are discussed on arrival and incorporated into a menu of fresh seasonal produce, eaten in the bright and airy dining rooms or in the privacy of clients’ own bedrooms.
There’s a real sense of community at the home. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests.

Warm and friendly as soon as you walk in. There seems to be always something going on, which is wonderful. All the staff appear to be happy and enjoy working at Sutton Lodge. This then is reflected in the care given!

My partner has stayed at Sutton Lodge for respite care several times over the past few months and I can't speak highly enough of the care he receives or of the good-humoured kindness, understanding and warmth of all the team at the home. The atmosphere is genuinely homely and friendly and, on each of his respite stays, my partner and I have been welcomed back as one of the family. Unlike many homes that rely heavily on agency staff who are completely unfamiliar with the residents or their needs, all the staff at Sutton Lodge are permanent employees, many having been there for years, so they really get to know their residents and are fully invested in their wellbeing and happiness. I'm so grateful for their first class caring, understanding and support.

My mother-in-law moved into Sutton Lodge after the death of her husband. She has mobility issues but a sound mind. There were some teething issues she has her own long-standing routine, but the issues settled down. She loves the activities and finds the staff attentive and kind. The only outstanding issue is with the medication which some (not all) staff seem to get wrong occasionally.

My husband has been a resident at Sutton Lodge since June 2024, and I am always very pleased with the care and support he has received here. Because of his Parkinson's, he does sleep a lot, but always seems happy and content.

I can't recommend Sutton Lodge highly enough. My brother spent his final four weeks there receiving palliative care, and the staff were simply brilliant. Every single person we met was caring, compassionate, and genuinely lovely - it felt like being part of a family. They supported us as relatives as much as they cared for him, which made an incredibly difficult time so much easier to bear. It was a real comfort and relief to know he was in the very best of hands.

My brother moved into Sutton Lodge in July all the staff could not have been more helpful. My brother is confined to a wheelchair and they make sure he gets out of tis room.

I started my career with Bupa 10 years ago as a Care Assistant, progressing to Senior Carer, Registered Nurse and now Clinical Deputy Manager for the last 2.5 years.
In late 2014 I was studying for a Psychology Degree when I swapped my weekend job at Specsavers for a part-time Care Assistant job at Queensmount Bupa in Bournemouth.
I loved my care job and worked with some amazing people who made me consider an even bigger career change. When I came back home to Surrey after university I transferred to Sutton Lodge and then began a Master’s Degree in Adult Nursing before taking on a Nursing position here. Sutton Lodge feels like my home from home, and I am so proud of my job and the relationships we build with the residents we care for.
I love my role as Deputy Manager and helping the team to feel empowered and grow. The staff here are so kind and caring, and we support each other through the good times as well as the hard times. My favourite days are still my nursing days when I get to spend quality time with our wonderful residents.
