Sutton Lodge is committed to quality residential and nursing care, while also specialising in palliative, respite and convalescence needs.

This converted grand private home retains much of its historic charm and cottage feel while being suited to modern care and a comfortable lifestyle. It has a large garden with a water feature, raised flower beds and a seating area for all to enjoy. Most of the bedrooms are ensuite.

Sutton Lodge is ideally located with the centre of Oatlands and Walton on Thames being less than a mile away and just over a mile away from Weybridge Town Centre. The home is located on the A3050 which has multiple bus stops just 100m from the home, offering easy access for visiting families.

As an enhanced service to residents, weekly GP visits are conducted at Sutton Lodge Care Home, enabling residents to receive regular, personalised medical reviews as part of their approach to person-centred care.

Dietary needs are discussed on arrival and incorporated into a menu of fresh seasonal produce, eaten in the bright and airy dining rooms or in the privacy of clients’ own bedrooms.

There’s a real sense of community at the home. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests.

From pets therapy, music and gentle exercise to visiting performers there is lots going on and anyone is welcome to pop in and join in, whether you’re friend, relative or loved one.

I have to give 10 out of 10 for the care my relative receives. The staff are considerate, helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, and I'm always happy to see my relative well dressed and clean. Fabulous cook, and all like homemade. Thank you all.

The care my nan received in her time at Sutton Lodge was thoughtful, caring and always with her needs being a top priority and mindful. The support staff showed myself and my mum was also appreciated. In difficult times, nothing was too much; staff were busy but never too busy to talk to Nan. I am so

I enjoy my visits to Sutton Lodge to visit my Mum. I am always greeted politely, but like I am family too, and often have a chat about Mum, and if I have any concerns, they are more than helpful. I was worried that Mum wouldn’t like the food as she was a good cook herself, but I know she eats well,
and if she doesn’t remember, then her carers will let me know she had a lovely lunch or dinner. There is a lovely calmness there, and Mum’s room is very clean, nicely decorated, and she always looks comfortable despite her aches and pains with plenty of pillows, cushions and blankets to keep her warm. I think the best thing though about Sutton Lodge is that all of the staff have got to know my mum with her funny ways and they know what she likes and doesn’t like and they love her too – and that is priceless!

I cannot thank the staff at Sutton Lodge highly enough. I stayed for a week of recuperation from an ankle operation; I was essentially immobile. The staff were at all times caring, considerate and attentive; nothing was too much trouble for them. Plus, the food (all home cooked) was simply amazing.
Thank you, everyone, at Sutton Lodge. You are a credit to your profession.

Although in the care home for a fairly short stay of eleven days while the family was away, I was treated with respect by everyone, without exception, and would certainly repeat the experience if it was necessary.

I have received excellent care whilst staying here after a hip replacement operation. All the staff have been very caring, helpful, cheerful and above all, encouraging. The standard of food has been very good and always available - even during the night. Nothing has been too much trouble. I chose not
to take part in activities. I marvel at the patience of the staff.

My father is currently in Sutton Lodge. The staff are wonderful and can’t do enough for him. He said the food is lovely, and they do lots of activities. I would not hesitate in recommending this nursing home.

My dad received outstanding care at Sutton Lodge Nursing Home, which was quick to adapt to ever-changing Covid restrictions and allowed outdoor visits when that was possible. All the staff I spoke to or met were very kind and compassionate, both to residents and relatives. The home itself is a lovely
environment with a garden and so many activities to keep residents entertained. I was particularly impressed by the singer who had such a lovely voice! Photos on Facebook and FaceTime calls meant we felt included even when visiting was not allowed. The rooms are very homely and felt like a home from home. GP visits and even hairdressing was arranged at the home. I have no hesitation in recommending Sutton Lodge Nursing Home, we felt very lucky that our dad was able to stay here.

My dad only moved into the home just over a week ago but has settled very well. The home seems to be very friendly, clean, comfortable, and nothing seems to be too much for any of the staff. He is enjoying the food, which he describes as excellent and plenty of. The home appears to be well run and has
lots of interesting events planned on a weekly basis. I have the peace of mind that Dad is safe and being well cared for.

Heartbroken that I was denied access to my dying ex-husband back in August.
No compassion.
After visiting for four years when I could due to living in another county, I had never even met this manager as I visited at weekends. But was denied saying goodbye when my ex-husband died after knowing and
loving him for 30 years.
Sorry but it is still very raw and my heart is broken.

My brother has been at Sutton Lodge since February 2020, I feel he is safe there and well looked after by the staff. I feel relieved that he has been there during the Covid 19 pandemic and lockdown. He wouldn't have coped at home alone. His medical needs are well met and he very much enjoys the social
aspect. He enjoys the food, regular nutrition has improved his overall wellbeing.

My aunt has always stressed that if her health declined she wanted to remain in her own home with carers. However, due to poor health earlier this year, it was agreed between us that a nursing home would be a better option, where she would feel safe and secure. Sutton Lodge offers exactly this. Sutton
Lodge ticks all the boxes, the staff are caring, friendly and respectful to my elderly aunt. My aunt tells me how easy it is for her to make friends, this is so reassuring to know she is happy where she is living. My aunt enjoys the entertainment, she often talks about how excellent the food is and how comfortable her room is. My aunt now has some purpose to her days and looks forward to spending time in the lounge with her newly made friends, and lovely members of staff.

My father arrived at Sutton Lodge earlier this year, after 4 years of independent living as a widower. As a family we are delighted that he feels happy and secure, has excellent care from all staff, enjoys the activities and he has great praise for the food and drink. He greatly enjoys the company and
the pleasant feel of Sutton Lodge. It's a great relief for family to know that he is contentedly settled in a home that is evidently very well run.

Our family are totally happy with the care our mother is receiving. The care and nursing staff are kind, helpful and professional and have created a true family atmosphere which also includes the relatives. The management are medically lead and have provided a home where we know our mother is safe
and will receive the necessary treatment she needs. All the staff including chefs, cleaners, laundry, maintenance, amenities and admin staff all work together as a team. I would have no hesitation in recommending this home to all.

The home was warm and welcoming.
My issues were understaffed at night - only 3 carers on the night we visited, looking after 25 residents. Also, bad communication with staff/management.
On the whole, we were pleased with the way my mum was looked after. The food was good and available 24 hours a day.
Some
of the carers couldn't do enough for us all and were born to care.

My husband has just had a three-week stay at Sutton Lodge and this is about his third stay here. He is happy there and they make a fuss of him and make him feel comfortable and welcome. It makes us feel ok about leaving him as every now and again I need the break. I shall definitely be taking him there
again.

Andrea Morgan

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2025

My name is Andrea, and I’m the home manager here at Sutton Lodge. My journey in care began back in 1997, when I started working as a carer in a nursing home that supported both younger adults with complex needs and older residents. From my very first shift, I knew this was where I was meant to be — caring for people, making a difference, and helping others live with dignity and joy.


That passion led me to train as a nurse, and in 2008 I qualified as a registered nurse. I spent several years working across surgical wards and other hospital departments, gaining valuable experience that I’ve carried with me throughout my career.


In 2010 I got married, and I’m now a proud mum to twin daughters and a son — they keep me grounded and remind me every day why care and kindness matter so much. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of care homes, supporting residents, families, and staff with dedication and compassion.


I first joined Sutton Lodge as deputy manager and spent three and a half years here before moving on to other management roles within care homes. Four years later, I was delighted to return — this time as home manager. It truly feels like coming home.


Sutton Lodge is such a special place — a small home with a big heart. The warmth, laughter, and sense of family here are what make it so unique. I’m incredibly proud to lead a team that shares my values of compassion, respect, and dedication, and to be part of a home where residents are not just cared for, but truly cherished.

Job Title: Clinical Deputy Manager Joined: 2014

I started my career with Bupa 10 years ago as a Care Assistant, progressing to Senior Carer, Registered Nurse and now Clinical Deputy Manager for the last 2.5 years.


In late 2014 I was studying for a Psychology Degree when I swapped my weekend job at Specsavers for a part-time Care Assistant job at Queensmount Bupa in Bournemouth.


I loved my care job and worked with some amazing people who made me consider an even bigger career change. When I came back home to Surrey after university I transferred to Sutton Lodge and then began a Master’s Degree in Adult Nursing before taking on a Nursing position here. Sutton Lodge feels like my home from home, and I am so proud of my job and the relationships we build with the residents we care for.


I love my role as Deputy Manager and helping the team to feel empowered and grow. The staff here are so kind and caring, and we support each other through the good times as well as the hard times. My favourite days are still my nursing days when I get to spend quality time with our wonderful residents.


I have a lovely rescue dog who is a huge part of my life and we love spending days walking down the Wey Navigation and spending time with my friend's horses. I also recently got married (which was the gossip of Sutton Lodge for many months!)

I am Georgina and I have been working at Sutton Lodge for three and a half years. I started off as a care assistant, before getting promoted to senior care assistant.


For many years, I worked as a private nanny for children. Following that, I worked for M&S.


I finally got a job in a care home and that’s where I found my passion for caring for the elderly.


Sutton lodge is a small home, I love working here. It feels like a small family.


Outside of work, I have a large family, and in my spare time, I spend all my time with them.

My name is Jenny and I am a senior care assistant. I have worked at Sutton Lodge for almost 13 years. I love the family feeling we have with residents, relatives and co-workers alike. I feel we make a real difference to the lives of our residents.

Rochelle Bartlett

Job Title: Senior Activities Co-ordinator Joined: 2018

I started my career at Sutton lodge in June 2018 as a care assistant. In November 2021, I changed roles and became an activities co-ordinator.


Over the course of that time, I completed many training courses, including Level 2 in adult care work, Level 2 in English, Level 1 in maths and Level 3 in first aid.


Two years ago, I stepped up and become a senior activities co-ordinator.


I am proud of my work and everything I bring to our home, staff and residents. I am extremely passionate and try my best to plan activities and events around all individuals' needs so everyone can feel involved.


My role has significantly boosted my self-confidence, but more importantly, it has strengthened my skills and abilities in care—especially in leading activities, which are central to my position. I genuinely love my job, and any feedback I receive motivates me to improve and make meaningful changes. I believe there’s always room to learn, grow, and achieve more, especially with the variety of goals, qualifications, and training opportunities available through Bupa and Sutton Lodge.

Job Title: Receptionist Joined: 2022

My name is Teresa - I have worked in care for 5 years and joined the Sutton Lodge team as a carer 3 years ago. For the last 2 years I have been working on reception, where I get to show our lovely home to future residents and their families.


I love working here, we have a fantastic team and are one big happy family.


I have a very naughty basset hound at home who I love taking on walks to various places (his favourite is Esher Woods). I have lived in Walton all my life but hope one day to retire to Devon.
