Soonita and Angela lead the most wonderful team at Tadworth Grove. Everyone is caring, chatty and highly professional. I am delighted at the thoughtful and very personal way they care for my mother who thought the world of all of them. The rooms are light, clean and comfortable, the food is good. In short, I couldn't have wished for a better last home for my mother.

There is always plenty going on at Tadworth Grove with well lead 'home activities' and visiting groups and theme days. All staff are friendly, approachable and welcoming. Nursing staff lead team of amicable carers in a professional manner. The food is of a high quality and served hot, I appreciate the opportunity to share meals on occasion with my husband, as does he.
Knowing that you feel reassured about your loved one's care is the best feedback we can receive. Such a happy caring care home. All staff always very helpful and eager to help, whatever the request or problem. Having just spent an afternoon here at your VE Day celebrations, it just confirmed to me that this care home is the best!! Maybe I will put my name down when I need looking after! PS just so know you I have had 2 friends who have been taken care of in here!

My father has been brilliantly cared for in every sense for 2 years. His family could not have chosen a better care home. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. One suggestion: It would be nice to have a small shop/desk available to purchase things like a bar of chocolate, biscuits, bottle of water.

My mum became a resident of Tadworth Grove in January 2024 after a series of falls and Alzheimer's meant she could no longer live alone at home. The change in her, both physically and mentally, since she became a resident has been outstanding to watch. She has gone from spending all day in bed and hardly eating or drinking, to participating in multiple activities every day and eating more than I've ever seen her eat before. She is thriving at Tadworth Grove, which seems a strange thing to say... but the staff and company of other residents has been the absolute best thing for my mum. She always seems happy - the staff are so caring, respectful and make a real effort to engage with her. As a family, we are so relieved that our mum is well looked after, safe and cared for. We have absolutely no regrets about our mum's move and would highly recommend Tadworth Grove to others.

Soonita Shaw is responsible for the day to day running of Tadworth Grove care home. She brings more than 25 years of experience in the health and social care industry to her role.
Soonita holds a Registered Managers Award and a Diploma in Health and Social Services Management and has a successful track record in care home management in three other large corporate companies. Soonita has a wealth of knowledge on what good care looks like.

As a Deputy Manager and Registered nurse, I lead a professional team in providing the highest standards of care for up to 45 residents with varying needs.
I’m at my best when I’m caring for other people and I believe relationships are incredibly important, so I am personally involved in all of our residents’ everyday lives.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is improving lives by supporting residents and their families. Every resident we care for has a history and a story to tell and learning about their lives is a wonderful privilege.

I joined Tadworth Grove as the home's receptionist in January 2008. I decided to move into the administrator position when it became vacant, and this has been my role for the last two years.
Before joining Bupa, I worked as a clinic receptionist and a primary school teaching assistant.

I have worked in the catering industry since 1981 after gaining a Diploma in Professional Cookery at Westminster College, London.
I have held many chef roles including Executive Chef and Regional Development Chef for a large contract catering company specialising in gaining new contracts and opening new multi-sites such as Glaxo Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Defence sites, Cisco System, N.E.C. and IBM to name but a few.
I joined Bupa in 2005. In 2013 I was the Bupa Judge Chef for a National Bupa Bake-off competition. I prefer baking cakes and have made numerous themed, party and show stopper cakes for clients, staff and residents families.
I am a proud father of five children and recently became a grandfather for the 3rd time.
I came to Bupa in 2010 as a carer and have personal experience of dementia care having looked after my mother.
I was promoted to Senior Housekeeper 3 years ago and now not only help out with the care of our residents but I keep the home clean too.

Smudge, the cat was named by one of our residents and he joined Tadworth Grove on 19th June 2018 aged 10 weeks.
Smudge is the youngest resident. He is looking forward to completing his course of immunisation so he can have free run of the home and gardens and make lots of new friends.
