Everything is very good and I and of course my father are very happy with the care that he receives in this comfortable home. I wish there could be some outings for him and perhaps a bit more in the way of visiting musical entertainers.

Having known her for over 40 years, I am very satisfied with the care and kindness being given to my 95 year old friend who came to live at Inglewood Nursing Home in August 2024. She is extremely well looked after, enjoys her food and is very comfortable indeed. The staff are considerate, caring, gentle and have a sense of humour which is important.

Staff so caring, warm and friendly. Couldn't do enough for Pops. Upon arrival his bed didn't have side rails. They were going to move him to another room but the maintenance man removed the bed and replaced it with another bed which had the rails. Above and beyond.

I have found the managers, the nursing staff and the carers to be friendly and caring. I am pleased I chose Inglewood. My father, although he is sometimes confused, seems happy with his care. He likes the food and his room is nice. They encourage pictures and small bits of furniture from home to make it even more homely.

My Mum was discharged from hospital for end of life care, we were offered a couple of choices of Care Home but this one had good reviews, and the whole family are glad we chose it. She is bedridden and unable to communicate but well cared for, always clean and tidy. The staff are all friendly and check on her regularly. An online diary you can access gives a detailed account of all the care she receives which we find invaluable, saves interrupting the staff to ask questions, updated regularly. Staff also phone to check we are happy with care or to discuss any changes needed. Happy to recommend to anyone. Thanks to all at Inglewood, have cared for her 2 months and counting.

My husband was discharged from the hospital for end-of-life care at Inglewood Nursing Home. He had a lovely room overlooking the pretty garden. He was there for 10 days until he died and during that time was looked after with great care and dignity. My family and I are very grateful to all the staff at home for the care and compassion shown to us as well.

My husband was in Inglewood for the last four weeks of his life. It became too much for me to give care at home. He was well cared for with the nursing staff and all the staff were always thoughtful, kind and caring. It took the pressure from me at a difficult time.

Review from Caroline V (Father of Resident) published on 8 May 2024 Submitted via Website

My family have been extremely happy with the care my dad has received since he came to Inglewood. My dad seems very happy there and has settled in really well. Dad has spent the last few months in bed, as his Alzehmers has deteriorated and affected his appetite etc, it was decided as dad was struggling with his swallowing, that now all his food would be smashed for him. Just recently dad seems to have improved slightly and dad has been spending time out of bed and in the day room which has been lovely to see. Inglewood have incouraged dad to venture out of his room and spend time with the other residents.

The staff are caring. The home keeps relatives informed of the health and welfare of residents.
The atmosphere is happy and very welcoming.
The rooms are clean.
The food well prepared and edible. Residents' special requirements are catered for.
The home has an activity coordinator. Activity is essential for stimulation of the brain, and maintaining mobility and conversation.
I am very satisfied.

I think it would be great if there were phone points in the rooms. Maybe this will happen in the next year when BT will use wifi.

Felt we should have been given more time when we first arrived, no initial assessment of my uncle on arrival.
Slow to relay our communications to staff or shared - re. food and feeding.
My uncle was only there three weeks and it was starting to improve and he was more settled.
