The staff and nursing team are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The variety of activities for the residents is excellent and has brought enjoyment and happiness to my mum. I would strongly recommend the home to anyone looking for a place for a loved one.

The staff are all very friendly and efficient and my mum is always very clean and presentable. She is on the end of life care but the staff still speak to her as they would to any other resident. Her room is always clean and tidy as are all the common rooms. An excellent and caring and well run home.

You all were very supportive, kind and helpful with my dad for his last few weeks. I am so grateful to you all, Covid made this more difficult, but it didn't change how kindly I was treated and dad too.

Thank you for looking after him for the last 5 weeks of his life, he couldn't have been better looked after.

My mother was received into Inglewood as an end of life patient. From the beginning, she was treated with extreme respect and kindness from every member of staff. All her needs were met and she enjoyed a calm and peaceful last few months of life. Our family are very grateful to everyone who was involved in her care.

From the moment I walked into the home, from the receptionist, management and all the other staff, nurses, care workers that I met all made me feel very at home and part of a big family! it was lovely! I can't comment on value because my wife had a funded place. But I was made very welcome by everyone from the day she went into the home until she passed away on 5/11/21. Thank you. They have all asked me to keep in contact which is lovely.

The staff at Inglewood have always been polite and provide the very best of care to my mother who suffers from advanced dementia and has been a resident for over a year.
The home is kept scrupulously clean and is well maintained. The managers and admin staff always keep me updated on events and also if there are any procedures that I need to be aware of. This was particularly helpful during the worst of the pandemic.
I would thoroughly recommend the home to anyone considering this option for an elderly relative.

If I have one criticism, it would be that so called extras such as pads should be included in the monthly bill and not charged separately.

We have found Inglewood to be very helpful and flexible with family visitors. They take great care and ensure that every visitor is tested for COVID-19. The rooms are very pleasant and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff seem very capable of doing a very necessary and tough job.

From the day my husband was admitted to Inglewood Nursing Home I visited him every day along with my son and other family members. We always found the staff kind, helpful and above all very caring. At such a very sad time in our lives, we could not have asked for any better help and support. At every step of our sad journey, the staff from reception, nurses, carers, cleaners, kitchen staff and management have all been friendly and helpful so much so that I now feel we have made such lovely friends. We thank you all.

My father spent the last 6 months of his life at Inglewood. During the time he was at Inglewood he was always treated with dignity, immense kindness and respect. Whenever I visited, which was limited due to Covid, everyone had a smile and made me feel welcome. When I visited him on his birthday last September three lovely nurses came in with a birthday card, a present and a cake and sang Happy Birthday to him, it's little kindnesses like this that mean so much. He sadly passed away two weeks ago and we will always be truly grateful for the loving care and kindness that was given to him and to us, his family, throughout his stay, especially in his final days. Thank you all so much, we are so grateful that we found you.

Thank you for your lovely kind words, it means a lot to our staff and other families looking to place their loved one in a nursing home. It was a privilege and a pleasure to look after your father. He was certainly a character! Best wishes to you and your family.

My dad came to Inglewood for end of life care and the staff were so incredibly kind, caring and loving to my father. They laughed with him, made him feel at home and when the time came, they treated him with enormous dignity and love in his last days. We feel incredibly lucky to have had Dad at Inglewood, the care was exemplary.

My husband was transferred from Pentlow, another home of Canford group. Unfortunately, covid-19 had already caused lockdown, so my visits were limited, having only three half-hour visits from mid-June until his health deteriorated in July. Sadly, he passed away. I had every confidence in the care that he received whilst he was there and could not fault the care and support that both of us were shown in his last week.

Reply from Gail Watkins, Home Manager at Inglewood Nursing Home

Many thanks for your kind words. They mean so much to the staff and the home. I'd just like to say, too, that it was real pleasure and privilege to have been able to care for your lovely husband, even for just those few weeks, and to support you and your family. We would like to wish you and the family all the best.

My father spent the last 6-months of his life in Inglewood. I visited regularly, and I was always impressed with the care, attention and dignity that he was given by all staff. Due to his diagnosis of senile dementia, he could present with challenging behaviour. This was managed professionally and sensitively in their dealings with him and interactions with his family. I cannot fault the establishment and will always be grateful for everything they did.

My mother was admitted to the Inglewood care home in January 2020. The level of care given to my mother who had very specific needs was exemplary in every way. Not only all the basic needs covered to an exceptional standard, but great care and dignity were given, especially during the lockdown period to support both my mum/our family in challenging circumstances. We are immensely grateful for the genuine care and attention given throughout the stay, and cannot speak more highly of the professionalism and service given.

My mother went to Inglewood Nursing Home following a period in hospital. On her release we were told that she had only weeks to live. Thanks to a high standard of nursing care and the many dedicated members of staff she remained with us for a further 2 1/2 years. She considered many of the staff her friends and enjoyed having a laugh and a joke with therm. Whenever we visited the home we were always welcomed by friendly staff and witnessed being cared for in a way which allowed them to maintain their humanity.

My mother became a resident of Inglewood nursing home in July 2018 but sadly passed away on the 12th February 2020, after a short illness and three days in the hospital.

My mother was happy in Inglewood and well looked after considering her chronic physical illness. Inglewood kept me informed on a regular basis as to Mum's health and did not hesitate to summon emergency assistance when she became ill.

My mother was here for just over three years and was very happy. She did not want to be anywhere else. The staff treated us as family and treated Mum as their family. The rooms are cosy, warm and comfy, cleaned every day and the food is excellent and choices are extensive. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment team is the best I have ever experienced together with regular trips out for residents. Mum was well cared for and in my experience of care homes could not have been in a better place. I did not worry about her as I knew she was in caring hands in a safe home. When I went to visit I was always treated with respect. Well done Inglewood and thank you. I will miss my regular visits to Inglewood and would like to thank you all for your dignified, compassionate care and warm smiling welcomes. The manager and team are always on hand with regular updates and in my opinion, the home is well-led. Thank you. I would not hesitate to recommend Inglewood.
