My mum came in Inglewood in September diagnosed with a brain tumour. They treated her amazingly all of the staff knew her by name, knew what she liked and respected her like she was part of their family until she sadly passed away. They did everything to help and treated her with dignity and respect throughout.

My uncle was a resident at Inglewood Nursing Home for many years. He was a Parkinson's sufferer for decades who lived at home with the help of a carer until his condition required the services of a nursing home. He received excellent care and attention. He loved the food and was always requesting seconds. The staff, all of the staff, are very caring and he had a smile for all of them. At the end he ws very very comfortable, pain free, and so very well cared for.

This was my first time placing my husband in respite care. I knew people who had stayed there, so I did have confidence in the home. I wasn't disappointed on any level.

I was delighted with the care my Uncle received while at Inglewood. He was quite difficult at the start but the staff treated him with respect and allowed him to accept the help and care offered to him.

Well done and thank you.

My husband went into Inglewood after his third stroke. The care he received and the friendliness of the staff and management were second to none. My husband passed away on 14th September at 4.25am with a nurse sitting with him holding his hand.
I was told immediately. When I arrived I was treated with compassion and friendliness.
I visited every day and whoever was on duty, management, nurses, carers, chef, kitchen staff, cleaners or maintenance, were all very professional, friendly, helpful and caring.

I always went home knowing my husband was safe and well cared for.

Following a severe stroke, my Dad was given 1-2 months to live. We were given a shortlist of nursing homes by the hospital, 1 of which was Inglewood. As soon as we visited we were impressed by the ambience of the home. The rooms are extremely well presented and the communal areas pleasant both for residents and visiting family. We obviously picked Inglewood and didn't regret our decision at all.

All the staff, through management, nurses, carers and housekeepers were caring both towards my Dad and visitors. They especially ensured that my mum was comfortable during her daily visits which often lasted about 4-5 hours giving her regular cups of coffee and popping in for a chat. As Dad deteriorated they ensured that he remained clean and comfortable. He battled on for 3 months until mid-September. The night he died a nurse regularly kept an eye on him and sat with him as he passed away. My family cannot thank them all enough for the care and dignity that they provided my Dad in his final months.

Having visited Inglewood twice per month for about 10 years, I can say it is a really good home. Lovely décor, friendly and capable staff, great variety of activities and very good care. An atmosphere of peace usually prevails and residents are mostly very content and comfortable. It is a real pleasure to get to know both the residents, staff and visitors through our visits and a great privilege to sometimes visit and pray with those confined to bed. I thoroughly recommend this home.

My aunt was very well looked after at Inglewood at a very difficult time. All the staff were very kind, caring and efficient, both with my Aunt and all the family. The home has a good atmosphere and the gardens are lovely. I have not rated food and drink and activities as my aunt was too ill to appreciate either, but have noticed very good!)

My aunt has stayed at Inglewood three times before this most recent stay. She is always made so very welcome by staff and residents alike. She has enjoyed her two and a half weeks respite and especially the mini bus trips out, the hairdresser, learning to play Scrabble, everything. She feels "at home" and relaxed and now feels confident to make a decision about long term care.

My mother in law is very happy at Inglewood. I always receive a warm welcome by the smiling reception staff and all the staff and management every visit.
The exterior, interior and beautiful grounds and gardens are so relaxing.
The food is very good quality, a good choice and selection always available. Staff are always available and the cleanliness of the home is impeccable. Individual rooms are bright, beautifully decorated and spotless. Communication is excellent as is the resident's daily activities and entertainment organised by their own team.
A real caring home where all are treated as individuals and made to feel like one big happy family. Also weekly outings on their specially adapted bus. I am so relieved that my wife and I can relax, knowing that Mum is in good, safe hands and happy. I cannot praise Inglewood and all the staff enough. The attention to detail is phenomenal.
I highly recommend Inglewood Care Home.

P.S. Afternoon tea and cakes are to die for.

Found the staff all times to be helpful, communicative, friendly, resourceful and courteous. They always asked if there was anything we wanted or needed and if assistance required and nothing was an effort or burdensome. This attitude and approach was consistent irrespective of visiting hours from early morning to late at night. The management approach was excellent and produced outstanding "customer" relations and understanding of needs.

My father was in this nursing home for end of life care and unfortunately was not able to appreciate the facilities but we as a family were treated with respect and kindness and were happy and satisfied with his care. They made his last day's pain-free, safe and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and considerate right from the cleaners to the management. There was always someone to ask if you needed anything or had any concerns. Overall very happy with Inglewood.

Arrived without an appointment at dinner time. We were made very welcome and shown around. This was our first time that we had used a nursing/care home. Dad was reluctant but after visiting again and meeting staff and residents, he was looking forward to his stay. Cleaners, reception, carers, nurses, gardener, everyone was helpful, kind, efficient and professional. A wonderful, welcoming place. Dad loved it.

My father was only in the home ten days as an emergency admission. Then he was not capable of signing anything as he was not aware of where he was.
At the time under morphine.
The staff did as much as they could to make him comfortable. They were very helpful and friendly to us - my sister and I and grandchildren (adult) that came to visit - nothing was too much trouble. The management was excellent.
We were offered tea or coffee, biscuits on visits.

The turn-over of sisters/nurses was a lot and we would have liked r=to have seen the same person on duty for more days.
