Because of the current situation, I cannot complete some of the following questions fairly as I can only comment on what my husband says and the overall impression I get from the staff I have met and spoken to!
Thank you for your kind and positive words; I am very happy to hear that staff keep you updated as well as receiving updated information about changes that have occurred over the time since your husband joined us and managing Covid. We endeavour to ensure that all families and residents are kept up to date with everything during these difficult times.
Thank you for your kind words; I am so pleased that staff provided so much support for you all and most of all to ensure that your mother was comforted and supported throughout everything during those saddest moments.

Thank you so much for your kind words, we try to ensure that residents remain happy and comforted within their home; striving for the upmost care. Once again thank you.
Thank you for your kind positive feedback and entrusting your mother into our care. MHA, as an operator in a commercial sphere, has to operate as commercially as our competitors. The benefit of MHA being a Charity is that we invest any surplus back into expanding our charitable purpose rather than paying dividends to shareholders. Our care home fees are calculated on the cost of care in each location and, we believe, compare fairly with care home fees in the local area.
Thank you for your positive feedback; staff at Lauriston work hard to ensure this continues.
Thank you so much for your kind and positive words; I will ensure that staff receive this feedback. We ensure that Lauriston is home for all residents.
Thank you so much for your positive comments and I am glad that your mother is happy at Lauriston.
Thank you for your positive feedback. Lauriston is home to all residents who require care for all their needs. We support both local and private funded; we ensure that residents who are at Lauriston have a place they call home. Please do come and speak to me if you are concerned about finances or anything else.
Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback. Lauriston is currently being refurbished; due to the dining room needing to be laminate to ensure infection control is maintained and areas are clean from potential spillages. We do ensure that residents have music on for background noise to reduce the noise within the dining area. We ensure that all linen is maintained, especially those of fragile garments. However, should the item need a high temperature wash this can cause items to shrink. We do try to ensure that all of our residents with special clothing are not automatically put through high temperature washes if they are not needed, Please do come and speak to me if you have any further concerns.
Thank you for your feedback. Within the last month, we have reduced our agency staffing by 80%. When we need to book, we make sure that we book the same staff to ensure continuity for all residents. I am more than to happy to meet with you personally should you wish to discuss your father's care.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback; we strive to ensure that all residents feel supported and happy within a friendly homely atmosphere.
Thank you for your positive feedback. It is very exciting to read how approachable staff are and the warmth of home.
Thank you for your positive feedback. I am happy to hear that the call bells are not heard ringing for long, unfortunately, they do have to be a certain level so that all staff can hear residents calling for assistance, ensuring that all their care needs are met.
Thank you for your positive feedback; it is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your positive feedback. I will ensure that the information will be passed back to the staff. We do follow falls protocol and ensure that residents are pain-free and will often ask residents if they experience any pain and provide pain relief with their consent.
Thank you for your positive feedback; I will ensure that staff are aware.
Thank you for your positive feedback and comments; I will ensure the staff are aware of these.
