Staff always provide a warm welcome. They are always approachable if you have any concerns and matters are dealt with quickly. The rooms are always tidy and welcoming. The food is always excellent with good alternatives available if needed. The entertainment and activities programme is excellent and varied with outdoors and trips out as well. My mum is very content here and is glad she has company and help when needed, especially at night.

I personally always felt welcome, staff attentive to all enquiries as to my sister-in-law's wellbeing and progress.

Staying at Sovereign Lodge has given the family peace of mind that she was being well cared for during this time.

My mother became a resident over a year ago after a difficult spell in hospital. Her care has been exemplary and has enabled the family to come to terms with her need for nursing care and has given us time to enjoy being with her knowing that when we leave she will be in safe, caring hands. She had her birthday in February which was made special by the cheerful interaction of the staff.

I live overseas so it is very important for me to know my mum is in good hands. I am very impressed with the facilities at Sovereign Lodge but the most important thing is the people who work here. Everyone is cheerful and caring and has helped Mum settle in quickly. They have also shown great care to my dad who has found the transition to being at home on his own very difficult.

I travel back home knowing Mum and Dad are in the best situation.

Very impressed with the friendliness, professionalism and helpfulness of all staff, from receptionists to nursing staff and catering staff. The bedroom is very clean and warm. The dining room is like a hotel.

Very pleased how well mum has settled into her new surroundings. She spontaneously states that she is happy, feels safe and the staff are kind.

Staff are professional and also kind. When issues arise they deal with them without being defensive. They are well-trained and supportive of the resident's wider family, informing us about their condition and helping us to make decisions in our mother's best interests.

My wife has a problem with food and only takes soup, sometimes at that. She has supplements.

This link between the nurses and GP is good. My wife is now bedridden.

From our experience, my mother is well looked after. The staff are always pleasant and engaging with her and she enjoys taking part in the activities provided. The nursing staff keep us informed about her condition when necessary.

The hairdresser is very nice. Really good for family to come and visit and being able to have lunch together and our dog is allowed to visit.

I am quite pleased with my wife being in Sovereign Lodge. I think she gets very good care. The staff are always there to help if needed. So my thanks to all the staff.

My mother moved into Sovereign Lodge Care Centre in February. The facilities are very good. The room is immaculate and food good. The staff are amazing, well organised, caring and professional. The care plan is regularly reviewed. Organised entertainment. Mum has dementia and all her care needs are met.Above all, she is happy and well looked after.

There is a wonderful lady very hard working she goes above and beyond her job description. Always helpful and extremely kind hearted.

Pleasant environment, on the whole, staff are friendly and welcoming. The activities are good, but maybe could be more low-key type activities on the 2nd floor for the more severely mentally ill residents. Possibly more residents could make use of the garden area in the summer months.

The entertainment there and the food is excellent there is always something for the residents to do.
