I arrived at Lindridge feeling very unwell and unable to walk after two falls and a five-week stay in hospital. In addition, I felt very angry as I desperately wanted to go home. In a couple of weeks of working with the physio department, making contact with other residents, and becoming involved in
a sound programme of activities my attitude changed completely. Almost without exception, the staff attitude was positive encouraging and supportive. I made great progress in learning to walk again mainly due to the skills I encountered with the physio department. I have continued to improve with exercise since coming home.

My stay was very pleasant. The staff and management were very kind and helpful. The food was good and all care was taken with my medication given from time to time. My husband spent three weeks in Lindridge Care Home for respite care. The physio he received was brilliant and by the end of his stay he could walk unaided. However, he developed a serious eye infection which was not picked up by staff. Cleaning of his eye was woeful on a daily basis and he needed urgent
A&E treatment and we are awaiting the results of an MRI scan to determine the damage.

My sister went into Lindridge Care home for respite care in November 2022. The staff really got to know her as she was younger than a lot of the residents and really enjoyed talking to them. It was supposed to be 2 weeks respite however her health deteriorated. When the 2 weeks were over she was due
to have an appointment with the oncologist the following week and the head nurse realising she was not doing well said they would keep her until after that appointment. I will forever be grateful to the nursing staff for this as the prognosis was not good and they agreed to keep her in the home. Very sadly my sister passed away 2 weeks later. The staff could not have done more for her and our family. The care and kindness they showed us at this very difficult time were amazing and we were so grateful she was there. Thank you so much for all you did for her and our family.

I was treated with dignity at all times. The staff were considerate and friendly again at all times which I had to leave was so sorry to have left. We'll recommend the care home to convalesce.

Most staff were very kind and helpful but a couple of the helpers from an agency were rough in the washing and impatient with me, especially compared to the permanent staff who were mostly lovely. The quality of the food was good but often cold when it was served to me. I did lose a top while I was
there - dusty pink, long-sleeved in case it turns up.

I would like to say my friend had a very distressing experience in acute care and then came to your rehabilitation place. From my experience the provision of OT and physio was exceptional. Making sure the home environment was a safe place to return to with the right care package in place. Also great
care in the unit.

From when I was first taken to Lindridge I was treated with great care and kindness. The staff were great and I made many friends during my time there. The physiotherapist worked a miracle with me for which I will be forever grateful. We had many laughs in what could have been a miserable situation.

I cannot praise Lindridge Care Home enough for the care and support of my mother and the family during her eighteen-month stay there. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she was made to feel loved and a valuable part of the Lindridge family. Well done and keep up the good work up!

Very disappointed with the level of care, the whole experience was not pleasant. Admitted twice to hospital during my stay. I am now full-time in a nursing home. A few complaints were made and we were told by the manager we would receive an apology from the agency staff concerned but we are still waiting.
Very, very upset.

I can't thank all the staff enough for all their help and care for my brother who was there for several months, he told me they were so wonderful towards him. when he passed away there was someone with him and that means a lot to the whole family.

I was in this care home following my operation so I was in the rehab part. I found the experience very upsetting and stressful. There was so many different staff, many of which were agency staff. Most of the time they were not checking on the patients but sitting in the lounge on their phones, unless
a buzzer went off to which they did not respond in any good time, just very slowly and without compassion.
I have a dietary requirement. More than once, and at first, when entering the building and going through the requirements, explained my allergy. This was completely ignored and I kept being given food that I was unable to eat due to allergy, this was not taken seriously.
The staff did not take the patients' needs into consideration at all and just treated the patients as objects and not important. The rehabilitation side is very poor. I was in there for three and a half months and did not have hardly any rehab or help to improve my situation. I was not happy at all with the care and treatment.

My sibling was accommodated and cared for at Lindridge Care Home from approximately November 2021 - March 2022. My sibling sadly had terminal cancer and had to move from their flat in Brighton as couldn't manage the 120 stairs to their floor and found themselves in a situation where they felt they needed
to live somewhere with professional care as health deteriorated quickly. The flat enabled my sibling to keep some of their most precious collections and some furniture.
Staff were friendly and caring and helpful.
We cannot rate them highly enough and greatly appreciate the care and support my sibling was given.
The only negative is that my sibling's dietary requirements (vegetarian) was not catered for/overlooked. Despite managers being drawn attention to it, for some reason my sibling was consistently missed, not being offered healthy, fresh, vegetarian options until the last month of their stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Lindridge Care Home. Everyone I met was happy and friendly and made you feel at home. The food was lovely I couldn't get enough of it, the food was absolutely delicious. I loved the TV on the wall. I really enjoyed watching my favourite programme. It was all so nice that
I didn't want to go home. The staff made it all so nice.

I arrived on the 3rd of May and had great care while there, GP twice a week, and seeing a physiotherapist twice weekly. The permanent staff were kind and helpful, the food was good and it was peaceful most of the time. I started to walk with a Zimmer every day and it helped that I was supervised. Before
I left I was able to walk ten lengths of the corridor. I felt much more prepared for going home than if I had gone home straight from hospital. My only thought was that the staff changed very frequently - they only did about two days a week when it changed again.

100% home. The staff are very caring and helpful. There was always someone to talk to. The rooms are light and airy the food is good. It's also really clean and regular checks are made. Overall a really lovely home.
