The staff were all very pleasant and experienced. Food was doubtful. Some meals were excellent, others not good.
Care of room - toilet pad given to me by the hospital in January still left in the room in March after eight weeks.

We try to provide wholesome and hearty food for all, catering for all, and I will pass on your comments to our Catering Manager. In regard to the item left in your room, I am unsure exactly what you refer to but assure you our rooms are cleaned to a high standard. Any item of hospital equipment that is issued by the hospital remains with the patient until discharge when it is returned. We hope you continue your recovery at home.

My mother said that she feels well cared for and was treated with respect. All the staff were lovely and kind, nothing was too much trouble for them. I as her son would like also to thank you all.

My mother was discharged from the hospital and moved to Lindridge to the Glynde ward as a discharge to access. She spent roughly three months here and was treated very well. The staff seemed very friendly and attentive, and the main nurse in charge was superb.
Whenever I visited by myself or with my
father, we were made to feel very welcome.

I don't know where to start. You looked after my aunt for the last three years until she reached her 100th year and I cannot thank the staff enough for the care and support that you gave her. It broke her heart to leave her own home after being so fiercely independent but the Lindridge was an excellent
substitute and she loved you all. My brother and I were always made to feel welcome and nothing seemed too much trouble. I would also like to thank the Manger and the member of staff who helped me when I came to pick up my aunt's belongings. I was very emotional and you gave me such care and compassion. You are all true Angels.

My father spent his last five months at Lindridge. I cannot praise the staff enough. From the carers, nurses, domestic staff, maintenance men, receptionists and manager Everybody came into dad often just to hold his hand and share a smile, comfort him, cheer him up. The kindness and empathy shown to
dad and to us were incredible. I will never ever forget just how wonderful everybody was.

My wife spent only 15 days at Lindridge, one week of which was in isolation before her unexpected death. I was able to make only two visits during the final seven days, so there are a number of areas of which I can't offer a fair judgment.

I had a very good experience. This was the first time I had to rely on other people for my well-being. I have no complaints about that. But I will say as I was allergic to what I could eat. I found my diet wasn't great I don't know if I was the only gluten-free person.

Both my parents were looked after at Lindridge at the same time. The lovely manager moved dad to the room opposite mum once the isolation period was finished, so dad could spend his days with mum.
The care for my parents was excellent and all staff were very happy and loving towards them.
They had
limited staff on many occasions but this was not their fault.
They allowed us to visit and be a family at a difficult time.
My parents have now moved to a nursing home and are both at end of life, however, they have stayed together throughout this difficult time.

Staff friendly and helpful.
I feel safe and cared for despite having a very uncomfortable and sore arms.

I wish to thank everyone on Shipley Ward for their kindness, professionalism, support in looking after me. I came in with a wheelchair and left using a Zimmer.
When I mean everyone this also means the physio and O.T.
The food was also great and I would recommend you to all my friends needing rehab.

During my stay at Lindridge, the accommodation was first class. The food was marvelous and the selective menu was very attractive. The staff were helpful and of equal importance utterly jovial. I had a nice time a Lindridge. Thank you so much.

I spent 3 weeks at Lindridge care home whilst a care package was set up to support me while I waited for a long-delayed operation. I was in a lot of pain and my mobility was very limited. I had a pleasant, light and airy room with a toilet and washbasin available. Excellent support from the care staff
who were patient, understanding and good-humored. Assistance to maintain family contact. Excellent and varied menu available. A high standard was displayed in all areas and the staff with who I came in contact ensured I enjoyed a comfortable and pleasant stay at Lindridge. Overall I was greatly impressed by my care home experience.

I came to Lindridge home on Saturday 3rd July after spending a week in hospital.
Although I was in isolation for 2 weeks my stay with you was pleasant. The staff were very nice, there were some who were above excellent (but no names). I was not included in activities and I can't say about value for
money as I was an NHS patient. For the first week the food was good but the two weeks after it was poor with no taste and hot food was cold, unappetising, and not for healing.
