I was made very welcome and soon got used to the routine. I was taken in a wheelchair to the garden and I took myself for walks along the corridor, which made me feel good again. Physio came to my room to show me what exercises to do.

I spent 23-days in my room, and I was looked after by all the staff, especially the head chef and his workers; the food was fantastic. I looked forward to everyday meals. The nurses were lovely and very helpful and always asked those words, "would you like a cup of tea". Thank you nurses, and thank
you all other workers.

My mother was transferred to Lindridge following an operation for a broken hip following a fall at home. The care and support given to my Mum by all staff was exceptional - she was treated with both dignity and respect.

Very good experience. The nursing staff are excellent. The staff are very kind and very friendly from the cleaning staff to very attentive care staff. Management is equally good. Well done.

All the staff were helpful, considerate and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble for them to assist me. They were all good-humoured and it was a pleasure to be in their company.


Something that irritated me was the lighting arrangements in my room. The switch was too far from my bed and I had to

get out of bed walk around the chair to access the light switch. Not good for a 90-year-old. Secondly, the light in the toilet kept switching itself off after 30 seconds plunging me in complete darkness in a windowless room.

Thank you for the comments regarding the light switch however there are two lights switches one on each side of the bed for ease of access, I will, however, remind staff to ensure this is pointed out to our residents in future. The light in the toilet is a motion sensor and I will look at trying to have the cut off time extended - we encourage positive and negative comments from all of our residents and patients as this helps us to provide the best care possible.

I was sent to Lindridge to recuperate after a hip operation so that I could go back home and look after myself. I live on my own, 96 years old and I was most impressed with every aspect and although isolated in my room, I was well looked after by dedicated, lovely nurses who had been trained to do so.
I would not fault them in any aspect.

Overall I was very disappointed as I went for rehab but only had 3 visits from physiology. One of which was on the day of discharge.
I'm afraid I did not enjoy my stay due to 14 days of isolation. However, the staff were extremely helpful.

I am a short term resident of Lindridge as I recuperate from illness. The quality and standard of the care provided is superb. It truly helps folk feel safe, cared for and above all - a part of the Lindridge family. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lindridge to anyone who needed caring for with that
special touch. Lindridge truly goes the extra mile and as a resident, I can speak from direct experience how cared for I feel. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wished their family members to be excellently cared for. Rooms were well maintained and thoroughly cleaned every day. The staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was good and we had three good meals a day also being diabetic this was catered for. The only gripe that I had is that I went in for rehab and physiotherapy and
expected to see a physio every day but that didn’t happen. The physios were community-based and quite often were not seen as out on other calls within the community.

Accommodating, comfortable and quite adequate.

I cannot tell you how kind and considerate all the staff at Lindridge were to my late sister-in-law. She spent the last 20 years of her life there and really enjoyed it. In fact, it was her wish to pass away in the place she called home. The facilities, cleanliness, rooms etc were excellent. I would

I found Lindridge care and nursing very improved during recent months. We are in a very difficult time, Covid time! After waiting for many months to see my husband, they provided the best possible way, testing and checking, that enabled me to go to my husband's room and I cannot describe to you what
an amazing experience I had. The other really amazing experience was my husband's birthday, which the Chef made it very magical for us and also my husband. He made the most interesting food and, with the best presentation. Maybe it was his last birthday!

I cannot speak more highly of the wonderful care and attention my mother has received from the dedicated nurses and carers at Lindridge throughout her 18+months with you! Particularly in December 20 in the run up to Christmas.
They made her feel very comfortable and happy despite the pandemic and the
difficulties faced by the home. She rarely complains, loves the staff and the food. It is rewarding to see her well nut I wish I could see her inside the home instead of only window visits.

I wanted to show our appreciation to the very kind and attentive staff that take care of my dad. Not only do we have a couple of wonderful carers who have consistently made my dad's days better and brighter, but my mum and I were blown away by the kindness from the kitchen staff for my fathers 74th
Birthday.
They went above and beyond to work with me to create a special Birthday menu just for him, even with Covid 19 creating all sorts of new challenges, my dad was still able to enjoy a delicious medium-rare steak meal with all the trimmings, pureed, but still as yummy. The head chef even printed images of the food prep process and final steak, then laminated this so he was able to 'see' the food while he ate it. His communication with me and attention to detail was exceptional and if the same amount of love is put into their Christmas Lunch I may have to change my plans! Thanks again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and comfy, beds were a bit hard for my taste. Food was excellent and the whole care home seemed very clean. Lots of activities for residents ie carol services and parties etc.
If someone needs care I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The carers at Lindridge are without a doubt the most caring, kind, lovely people you could wish for.
My mum was loved there right up until the day she passed away. I could not be with Mum at the end due to the COVID-19 but the nurse and carers made sure I could say goodbye on Skype.
My mum felt very
safe and secure at Lindridge.
May God bless all the staff there... nurses, carers, admin people and management.
