After 5 months in hospital with multiple infections and severe weight loss, my Dad was very poorly when he was admitted in July 2017. We chose Lindridge because it is an NHS Partnership Care Home and so has a senior NHS Nurse on each unit 24 hours each day. This level of care was crucial and we believe
that it is because of this that Dad's health stabilised and he was able to live the best quality of life possible for as long as possible. When his dementia progressed his needs were adapted to and adjustments to his care made. Dad was kept out of further repeat hospital admissions and even when he was receiving palliative care at the end of his life he was able to stay in his own room and his eventual death in February 2019 was supported and calm, thanks to the expertise and kindness of the lovely staff.

My neighbour and friend recently had her 100th birthday and Lindridge put on an amazing spread and beautiful cake for her. It was a really special day and my friend was so happy. So much effort and care went into the food and presentation. Wonderful!

On our many visits to my cousin, who is resident here, we have been very impressed with the standard of care, especially one-to-one, and the brightness and attractiveness of this modern facility. The environment, which is an important aspect of care, contrasts considerably with some older homes. On
the recent occasion of my cousin's decade birthday, the catering staff put on a beautiful spread, to our specifications and at minimal cost, together with a lovely home-made, celebrational cake, and afforded us a bright room with great facilities for the afternoon. This was much appreciated by the resident, relatives and friends alike. I only have praise for this establishment and not a few of the guests voiced their preference to be resident here in their latter years.

My 93 year old mother was admitted for rehabilitation following surgery for a hip fracture. From the moment of admission, Mum and I were greeted by a friendly, kind, caring professional staff. The whole team demonstrate compassion and care. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I have seen Mum regain
her confidence and wellbeing. The home is extremely clean. The food well prepared and presented and I cannot praise the whole team enough.

The staff at the home, from the nurses, care workers, cleaners, maintenance staff, all treated my mother with the utmost kindness, ensuring the last years of her life were spent with dignity and compassion. This gave me and my family peace of mind.

Although my husband had severe dementia, which made him violent at times, he was always treated with love and care. The staff came to know the signs and dodged the flying fists.
We were so lucky to be given a place in such a great home. I will always be thankful that his last months were spent in such
a lovely atmosphere.

I wish my Mother came into Lindridge much earlier. So professional and caring. It felt like a second home. Staff and nurses are so friendly and looked after my mother right to the end. You certainly get your money's worth here. Rooms are light airy. Lovely gardens to sit outside in too. Highly recommended

From the first meeting, we were impressed with the help and support, as a family, we were given. The building and rooms were always very clean. We knew mum was well cared for, treated with dignity and patience by the friendly staff - some of whom became like family members during this difficult and
sad time. There was always a good range of activities - group and individually. Mum's end of life care was very sensitive and well carried out during and after the event.

My Dad passed away at Lindridge Nursing Home.


He suffered from senile dementia; a cruel, withering disease both for the sufferer and those who love them.


We chose Lindridge because it is well appointed, well equipped, and cosy. But of far greater significance is the quality of its staff. I am

not referring here to specific medical care, though undoubtedly this is top notch; no, I am referring to the human touch brought by the staff to both residents and their visitors. I can say without reservation that my Dad was not allowed to suffer, and the pain that my Mum and I experienced through this difficult time for my Dad, was alleviated in considerable measure by the friendliness, support, and understanding brought to bear by all the staff with whom we came into contact.


Thank you to all at Lindridge; the job you did was outstanding, and we are genuinely grateful.

The Lindridge has been the best place for my mum. The staff are amazing. The place is spotless and the rooms are lovely. The activities are also of a high standard it feels like the residents are on a permanent holiday.

I found my experience of the care home excellent. The staff were all caring and respected my dignity and privacy.
The room was very clean (cleaned daily) and I like that vegetarian options were available for lunch and supper. Overall, would highly recommend.

My father was given weeks to live when it was suggested we move him into Lindridge Care Home. The staff there were so amazing that he spent the next 2 and a half years in their caring and capable hands. They made the quality of his life in those last 2 years as good as it could possibly be. By the time
Dad passed away, they were a second family to us all and we can never thank them enough for all they did for our wonderful father.

It was lovely, from beginning to end. My room, the peace, the attentive but never intrusive care and professional care. And the cuisine! I would have paid good money for every meal if it had been in a good restaurant (compliments to the chef!). Above all, the ambience of a happy workplace, and a mood
of harmony - no small contribution to my speedy recovery. Sorry, I can't mention names! There'd be too many!

My mum had suffered a bad fall back in March and broke her pelvis. She was admitted to Lindridge after her hospital stay to recuperate and stayed up until about 2 weeks ago.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the staff from both myself and my mum. You all looked after her so well and with
great sensitivity and as I live in Australia it made me feel confident that she was in the best place and got the best treatment.
My mum says that all of the staff were wonderful and she has now finally gone back home. They ensured that she didn't leave until they knew she was going to be completely safe at home.
Thank you to all staff at Lindridge you are all wonderful people and a credit to the aged industry.

From the moment I approached this home and was greeted by the Relationships Co-ordinator the warmth and professionalism was unbelievable. I had visited many other care homes and nothing came even remotely close to Lindridge. When the Relationships Co-ordinator showed me around she greeted and knew every
resident by name.


My mother was treated with dignity and respect by all the staff. The Senior Carers especially showed great compassion and empathy as her health deteriorated. I have been touched by their genuine love and care for the residents.

My father was admitted to Lindridge Care Home June 2018, suffering with Lewy body Dementia.
He was well cared for in all aspects of his needs.
But as a family, we were aware and concerned at certain times being low in staff, which we raised with management who were doing their very best to resolve
staffing issues.

Dad went to Lindridge following a stay in a hospital after a fall.
He had Lewy Body Dementia.
The home took amazing care of him and involved him in all sorts of activities.
When he became ill in Feb/March 2017 they nursed him back to health and although he could no longer walk and his Dementia had
advanced, they continued to do everything for Dad.
At the end of his life, every care was taken by them to ensure he was pain-free, relaxed and peaceful.
