Victoria Highgrove BN3 6QD is by far a wonderful nursing home in the whole of B'ton + Hove from the moment of entering the building your welcomed with such warmth and sincere care. For the residents its like a home from home. While settling in can be difficult? not here in Victoria Highgrove. The staff make the transition so easy for the family and friends its a great comfort, not just knowing this but witnessing the amazing staff which manager Emma has put together a unique team. Day & Night staff blend and work really well together. She & all the senior staff, the carers to cooks, cleaners & laundry staff should be immensely proud of themselves. I cannot recommend Victoria Highgrove enough. Whoever should stay here - short or long term will be extremely lucky to be supported by such a wonderful team.

Mum was there for rehab. The staff really did her proud. She went from unable to stand to walking with a frame and from needing help with everything to being able to manage the toilet and to cross the room to fetch things herself. They were very attentive and caring. Mum went from nervous to very happy.

Reply from Paul Burns, Director at Victoria Highgrove

We much appreciate your 5-star review and I am glad your Mum did so well.

My wife was transferred to Highgrove from hospital after a major operation to receive rehab care. She has been well looked after by very caring staff including physios and therapists. The home is safe, professionally managed with a care plan and a very capable chef producing meals of a good standard. My wife is now ready to come home after a very caring period of rehab.

The whole team was superb. Caring, compassionate, skilled and very good at their various jobs. They asked rather than told; cajoled rather than dictated. Altogether a great place to be.

I cannot express in words the exemplary care I recieved from entire staff during my spell in rehab. They got me on my feet again after sustaining a bad fall breaking my right pelvis. Further more sustaining an abscess resulting in being hospitalised for a few days during my stay here + further care on my return back.

I couldn't praise the care home more. In just over a week since my mum has been under their care, I have seen such an improvement in her mobility and state of mind. All staff have been so lovely to me and our family and friends who are visiting. I feel my mum is in a very good safe hands.
