The management and staff were wonderful, full of kindness and compassion. Even though the circumstances were difficult, they made my stay a very happy one, and I will always be grateful.

My husband was transferred here from hospital for re-enablement. He said, 'All the staff were brilliant, and thank you.' The staff were great, always polite, professional and friendly. Knocking before entering a room. He enjoyed the food, which he said tasted as if cooked on the premises. We're grateful
to all the nurses and staff, but one in particular who referred him to tissue viability nurse for ulcers on his right foot. The staff went the extra mile in looking after him, and his foot in particular, monitoring it, creaming it and encouraging him to elevate and bed rest. So hugely grateful, and let's hope he adheres to this. The staff understood how people miss their home environment. I would say, for us, the home's absolutely brilliant, but perhaps a choice of enablement at home could be offered for people that prefer their own environment. However, would his foot issue have been picked up so quickly in the community, I don't know. Thanks Victoria Highgrove.

My mother-in-law is a resident of Highgrove Nursing Home and is recovering from a fall at home. From the moment she arrived she has been treated with warmth and kindness from the staff, the nursing, physio and OT teams have worked really hard to help her to regain her mobility and the health care team
have looked after her daily needs. I cannot fault their dedication to the residents. The building is modern, clean, bright and welcoming, the food is very good.

We as a family were very pleased that Dad undertook his rehab at Highgrove Nursing Home. The staff and care package was excellent. Dad remarked how he enjoyed the food which says something because he is a very fussy eater. Hopefully, he will go from strength to strength whilst spending some time with

When I was told my mother needed to go into a care home after the hospital, I was a bit apprehensive but not surprised. The surprise was what a lovely place it was. Mother had her own room and WC, the room was light and airy. We could visit at any time and the staff were wonderful. Mum eats like a bird
but had no trouble (almost) with the lovely food, they obviously had a great chef!
Mum sits in the garden and lounge chatting with the other residents, these things she can't do, living alone. I'm sure she would be quite happy to stay.

My husband was transferred to Victoria Highgrove from hospital for therapeutic care. It was hoped that with nursing care and physiotherapy his strength would return and he would be able to walk again. Unfortunately this didn't happen despite all the care and help he received and he gradually got weaker
and weaker and died on 6th March 2024. He was a very difficult patient to deal with because he didn't want to be there. I can't thank all the staff enough for their patience and wonderful care they gave him.

Highgrove is a first-class nursing home. Everything is excellent. The staff are friendly, happy, chatty, kind, caring and respectful. The home is very clean, the food is delicious, all the equipment works well and if you need anything they go above and beyond to get it for you. Highgrove has changed
my view of nursing homes and I'm no longer fearful for what the future might bring.

Victoria Highgrove are caring for my mother post a hip operation. They have been incredibly kind, attentive, organised, friendly and helpful. My mum is very happy with Highgrove - and you cannot ask for more than that.

Everything was great. I think all the staff were considerate and looked after me well. They were helpful and helped me with everything I needed help with e.g. helped with cutting nails and reminding me about things.

The manager and everyone at Highgrove provide an absolutely brilliant home-from-home for people under their care. Everyone genuinely cares for their residents and can't do enough to help.
The food is great, Dad actually looked forward to meal times!
The care provided is excellent and physios, OTs,
GPs, nurses and the rest of the care staff all provide friendly care and can't do enough for everyone.
