I have found the staff at St Clements to be hard-working, extremely kind and patient. They are an excellent team, and I'm so glad I chose St Clements for my mother. She has been very well looked, after and I couldn't have asked for better.

Ever since my father entered the care home following a period in the hospital, initially for respite and assessment, he himself has stated that he feels safe. What higher praise of the staff, the surroundings and care can there be from a 93-year-old man who suffers periods of confusion and anxiety. Thanks to all the staff for helping dad feel safe.

Overall Experience

My mum has been at St Clements for just over 3 months following the unexpected passing of my dad who was her carer. She has settled in well and has a nice quiet room with a large bathroom which has helped with her cleanliness and toilet routines. The staff and nursing care have been attentive to her needs and supported her well as her dementia has adjusted to her new environment and routines. There have been some wonderful activities including a donkey visit, building an insect home, puzzles and bakery challenges to name just a few and the food options have been accommodating of a gluten-free diet. The home recently organised a Christmas party that was well attended and a lovely afternoon was had by all with music and a buffet. Special thanks to the Hospitality Manager and the Entertainment Manager who always pull out the stops! Living in the city I am very happy that my mum is in a safe and comfortable environment where she is she is cared for and well looked after.

I must congratulate the staff of St Clements Nursing Home on their ongoing care of my sister. She has been there a while now and the standard of care has remained excellent. Her environment and food are really good but even more importantly she is treated with dignity and understanding, empathy and care. There are a lot of activities on offer and efforts are made to encourage her involvement. There is also excellent medical care by the home team and GP, optometrist and dental care when necessary.

During the fourteen months Dad was a resident in St Clements he, as well as us felt he was safe and very well cared for. The home always feels very welcoming and looks clean and fresh, this includes all public areas as well as private rooms. The manageress and all the staff make time to chat and listen to residents and visitors. If any problem arises it is soon resolved. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending St Clements to anyone in need of som extra support and care.

Our late father/father-in-law died at St Clements on 21/09/2023. We wish to express our thanks to each and every member of the staff for their loving care, kindness and respect to our loved one. Our father spent 14 months living at St Clements and made many new friends in that time. It was a great comfort for us to know he had superb nursing care throughout his stay. Thank you.

My husband has resided in St Clements Nursing Home since August 2017. My family and I could not wish for better care. All aspects of the home are exemplary from management through to cleaning staff. Medical staff are on the ball. My husband is on a soft diet and his meals are presented with care and attention to look appetising. Thank you to everyone.

The care home comes across as loving and inclusive. All staff acknowledge and greet you with a smile. When we raise any concerns, they always listen and react positively. They clearly work hard and with great imagination to keep the residents happy and stimulated. The lounge is always full of chat and laughter.

Tracey WatsonJob Title:Hospitality Manager

My passion for hospitality started when I was very young, wanting to be "just like my dad". I studied Hospitality Management for my degree, and since then have had the pleasure of working in some fabulous hotels in the Lake District and the Cotswolds, before returning to Norfolk to raise my family. St Clements has such a warm and welcoming family feel to it, and having always pursued roles where I feel that I can make a difference, my hotel experience gives me the basis to be able to help drive the hospitality areas here to even higher levels. Family time is important to me, and in my free time, you will often find me on the sidelines watching my teenage sons competing at rugby and football.

I have a background in admin but went on to run my own business. When I started a family I decided to go back to admin to be able to have a better work - life balance. I love being a part of the team at St Clements. The residents and families are all lovely and make it an enjoyable place to be and no day is the same. In my personal time I love to spend days with my family and exploring Norfolk's wonderful coastline.

I worked in healthcare catering for 15 years before I joined St Clement's Nursing home. I am keen interest in caring, catering and serving people with different likes in food. I want to make food look good and tasty also want to help make special diets more attractive and introduce culinary medicine. I enjoy working with all the team members in St Clement's and their excellent service to all the residents.

I like sports, especially football and cricket. I was a football and cricket player previously, and managed 7 a 7-a-side football team for 10 years.
