I always found the staff to be helpful and caring towards my friend and myself.
The cleanliness of the room could be an issue as she would sometimes throw anything and everything causing the problem. I felt staff shortage and insufficient time was the reason it could not be cleared up immediately.
I sometimes found myself washing her table and cleaning very old food from it. When her room was decorated, the painter obviously just stopped at the mattress level (top end of the bed). Below there, the wall was stained, dirty and obviously not painted.
The food that I saw was always presented well and looked appetising. I obviously saw her very little in her final year, but when I did, she was always clean and well-groomed. Not an easy task as she was often not compliant.
I never felt I was too much trouble when I rang, and always felt she was cared for. That offers great peace of mind. Thank you all.

Overall good. Nursing is very good. Food is very good. Needs extra carers to give more time for care. Changes in managers are very upsetting. My husband has been here over two years and many managers.

I cannot be more pleased with the way mum is being cared for. The manager and staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. I know that mum is happy and contented being at St. Clements and we cannot thank them enough.

My experience of St Clements Nursing Home has been fantastic. Since my dad arrived for end of life care, all the staff have been welcoming, informative, productive and caring towards my dad and us as a family. Previously, my dad was at another nursing home but since coming to St Clements, I finally
feel people are caring for him and his needs are being met.

Since my mother came to St Clements, 4 weeks ago, all we have seen is kindness from all the staff and management. My mother has always been a very independent lady with strong opinions but we feel this could not have been handled better. She is happy, safe, clean and comfortable and always treated with
the utmost respect and dignity (and with humour). At this stage in mum's life, we could ask for no more.

My father was admitted to St. Clements Nursing Home after leaving the hospital. What a great choice. As soon as we entered the home, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Dad is happy there. It is a very clean home and I would highly recommend it.

My mother was a resident of St Clements Nursing Home for over two years, following a stroke and was looked after superbly. Being confined to bed for most of the time, she never suffered from bed sores during her stay and was always kept comfortable and clean, as she was incapable of doing anything herself.
I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the way the home was managed, the level of care was excellent and the friendliness and warmth of the staff really did make it feel like a home and not an institution. Particularly, how the staff welcomed and looked after my dad when he visited every day. Sadly, my mum passed away at the end of October this year and the end of life care she received was first class and delivered with dignity. I cannot thank the staff enough, fantastic.

My dad was only at St Clements for a short time for end of life care. From my first phone conversation with the manager, to my dad's final moments we were treated with kindness, compassion and respect. This was hugely important at such a sad time - a huge thank you to all the staff.

The home is very welcoming, open, friendly with genuine care for the residents by the staff and management. I have seen a marked improvement in the home under the new manager, and she has drastically changed things for the better, appearance of the home, while maintaining the quality of care for each

From the warm and friendly welcome I first received from the Manager, when I arrived to see my mother at St Clements Nursing Home, to the exceptionally attentive and thoughtful carers that I encountered over the following 5 weeks, I have been very impressed and touched. Nothing ever seemed to be too
much trouble and the time spent with Mummy, both at mealtimes and in looking after her personal needs were never skimped. I had absolute faith in the care she was receiving, all the time she was there.

Mum has been in St Clements for 5 weeks. We have no complaints so far. All the staff are very nice and welcoming and mum seems settled. On occasions, they seem short staffed but do their very best. We would have no problem recommending this care home.

St Clements is a lovely home. All the staff and management are always very friendly and caring and always go and do extra things for every resident, including my darling wife. I cannot thank them all enough for everything they do.

My mum moved to St Clements in May 2016 with multiple medical conditions. Care home staff were willing to be trained on CPD dialysis, where renal staff at hospital oversaw training and visited regularly. The care home staff made my mum feel welcome and helped her and her visiting family settle into
her new home and new routine. My mum was only expected to live a few months before arriving in the care home but with their close observations, kindness, and patience and support of external medical teams, she surprised everyone by living far longer than expected. In her time there the staff made the last chapter in my mum's life as good as could be expected, and in many cases beyond expectations. Mum passed peacefully in July 2017.

I worked in healthcare catering for 15 years before I joined St Clement's Nursing home. I am keen interest in caring, catering and serving people with different likes in food. I want to make food look good and tasty also want to help make special diets more attractive and introduce culinary medicine. I enjoy working with all the team members in St Clement's and their excellent service to all the residents.


I like sports, especially football and cricket. I was a football and cricket player previously, and managed 7 a 7-a-side football team for 10 years.

I started working for Kingsley Healthcare 6 years ago as a laundry assistant and I am now proud of being the Head Housekeeper at St Clement's. I take pride in my work and making sure that the home is clean and smelling fresh. St Clements is a happy home with a very pleasant team, we all work together for the benefit of the residents.


I am a mum of four children, we enjoy spending time together and going out as a family. I like travelling when I can.
