Rated Outstanding by the CQC (February 2021), Ford Place occupies a Grade II listed mansion on the edge of Thetford in Norfolk, set within 3.5 acres including an ancient walled garden, one of the most distinctive outdoor spaces at any care home in the region. Ford Place has a Review Score of 9.7 (9.688) out of 10, based on 24 reviews in the last 2 years.
Over all time Ford Place has 122 reviews.
I had three days in the home and found it to be clean, comfortable with the staff they were most accommodating. In fact I will readily go there again should the need arise.
Essential in helping us through an unknown and difficult period. Nursing staff supportive in all aspects. My father was able to return to independent living after 3 months of their support while he went through chemotherapy at the age of 79. His circumstances didn't make him a typical resident so it is hard to review some categories: Food (taste and appetite not good), Activities and Facilities (generally he just wanted to rest but enjoyed the open day and met with relatives in the conservatory). Will consider for the future if necessary. Thank you.

- Good - The service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
- Requires Improvement - The service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.
- Inadequate - The service is performing badly and we've taken action against the person or organisation that runs it.
- Not rated - we have not yet rated this area of the service, this is normally because the assessments we have carried out have been focused on other key questions.
