Just like to thank all the staff at Ford Place for the care of my uncle who had not been at Ford Place that long. He was there from February until the end of June we can't thank them enough for the care that he received and how welcoming and supportive they have been.

My mother-in-law has now been a resident at Ford Place for 6 weeks. Previously at a care home in Essex for 16 months which was not satisfactory, frequent staff changes, and poor management. Ford Place is welcoming and has very competent and caring staff from Managers through to maintenance staff. I
am so pleased she has made the move.

My husband moved into Ford Place Care Home in November. He received nothing but the best care and attention until he recently passed away. Myself and my family cannot recommend Ford Place enough. The staff are all amazing and became like an extended part of the family, couldn't wish for any better

The staff are fantastic always treating my nan with love, care and most importantly dignity. Nothing was too much trouble. During her final days, they treated us her family with love and compassion which meant so much to us. The staff really cared about their residents that was clear to see the day
she passed. I will be forever thankful her last months were spent there. The management team were always approachable and happy to listen to any issues. And maintenance were always willing to help where needed.

My wife was moved from a non-NHS hospital in early January and Ford Place looked after her, after a suspected heart attack, she was sent back to the hospital for 10 days and returned to Ford Place. Throughout her stay in Ford Place, she has had excellent 24/7 care. The nursing home is spotless. The
staff are exceptionally good, courteous, friendly and genuinely caring, superbly trained and working 24/7 as a well-oiled team should work. Yes, Ford Place is an excellent, caring nursing home.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at Ford Place. It is a lovely home with beautiful surroundings and has a good reputation. It was always pleasant to visit, clean and tidy and very welcoming. My relative was thankful for the care and service she received and did appreciate that she did not always
come across that way during this difficult transitional time in her life. The end-of-life care was very dignified and the staff were there to support me throughout.

My mum spent three months at Ford Place. She was looked after extremely well, always very clean and always on hand when she needed someone. Overall very pleased with my mum's stay here.

The care given to my mother is excellent. I know that she is well looked after which is such a weight off my mind on days I am unable to visit. They keep me updated with anything, no matter how little, the staff are friendly, it is a lovely place and the manager cares about everyone and will make time
to talk to visitors.

Mum was admitted for palliative care. The staff were kind, caring and supportive to her and her family during her ten-day stay.
The home had a lovely, caring, happy atmosphere and all the staff I've encountered had a friendly, happy approach to everyone, including office staff, kitchen team, hostess,
carers, nurses, activities team and manager. We got the feeling that everyone enjoyed caring for others. Thank you everyone.

My mother-in-law has been very well cared for at Ford Place for almost a year now. We moved her from a previous private care home which was meant to be good but we found the care to be very negligent.
The manager at Ford Place is hands-on, genuinely caring and very available.
The home is clean, welcoming,
bright and generally very pleasant.

It's never a nice thing to put a loved one in care, and there's no place like home, but if you have to do it, then this is the place.
The staff go out of their way to care, and they show genuine kindness.
The management is excellent, they never make you feel bad if you have a question or an issue
to talk about.
The activities team is unbelievable, never seen anything like it in any other care home, there's always something going on and they try and include as many as possible, even those who can't leave their rooms.
The care team are lovely, they take a personal interest in the small things that are so important to the residents.
The facilities are great. It's an old house and some rooms are a bit tired but the feel is friendly and well cared for. They don't skimp, there are some very good quality fixtures and fittings, and the lounge particularly is very nice. Fresh fruit and snacks are on hand for the residents to take.
I can walk away knowing my mother is safe and well cared for.

I think the staff are amazing; they are so kind, and they all look after my dad so well. I don't have to worry if I am not there, as I know he will be ok. The activities lady keeps him busy, and they are wonderful at getting him interested in the crafts, which he does love, even if he says he's lonely
and fed up.

The care for my dad is the best he can get, considering he went into Ford Place on palliative care and over seven months later, he is still with us. They can’t do enough for him; they are always doing activities.

Appreciated the time I was given, outside of office hours, to review my mum's care plan. I felt the manager wanted to ensure my mum's needs were understood and acted on. Would like more work to be done around understanding and using MCA and DoLS, as they are important to my mum's care.

Excellent care provider in 'every' respect she was cared for with dignity and respect. The family kept up to date on a very regular basis. She was always clean never any urine odour. Lovely environment, welcoming, caring staff - nothing too much trouble. Consideration is given to diet with foods purchased.

I can't thank all the nurses, carers and staff enough for the care, devotion and dedication they showed my beloved mum during her last few months at Ford Place until she passed away peacefully with me by her side on the 27th of March 2023. I was able to stay with Mum day and night during her final week
and I will forever appreciate how well I was looked after too. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I know my beautiful mum was in the best possible place and I take enormous comfort in knowing how much she was loved by all those who looked after her. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
