The staff at Ford Place were excellent; they all made my father's last days there very comfortable and showed a lot of compassion towards him and the family.
Thank you for your kind words; your feedback means a lot to the team. It was a pleasure to be able to care for your father and support you as a family. Best regards.
The care for my dad is the best he can get, considering he went into Ford Place on palliative care and over seven months later, he is still with us. They can’t do enough for him; they are always doing activities.
We are delighted to hear how settled your dad is at Ford Place; thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. The Ford Place activities team always offer a wide range of activities for residents to participate in, and we are pleased to learn that your dad enjoys them. Thank you again for submitting such a lovely review. Kind regards.
In the short time my mother was with you, she was made to feel it was her home. She was treated with kindness and affection by all who had contact with her. We are so grateful to everyone who cared for her in the last few months of her life.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a warm and positive review. It was a pleasure to be able to care for your mother and support you as a family. Best wishes.
Appreciated the time I was given, outside of office hours, to review my mum's care plan. I felt the manager wanted to ensure my mum's needs were understood and acted on. Would like more work to be done around understanding and using MCA and DoLS, as they are important to my mum's care.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review the home and the care given to your mum. We are so pleased that you have felt you have been given the time by management to be part of the conversation to plan your mum’s care – this is so important to us. We will certainly be really keen to work...
Excellent care provider in 'every' respect she was cared for with dignity and respect. The family kept up to date on a very regular basis. She was always clean never any urine odour. Lovely environment, welcoming, caring staff - nothing too much trouble. Consideration is given to diet with foods purchased. Thank you.
Thank you for taking a moment to leave us such warm and positive feedback. Your comments mean a great deal to staff and we will be sure to share them with the team at the home. Best wishes.
I can't thank all the nurses, carers and staff enough for the care, devotion and dedication they showed my beloved mum during her last few months at Ford Place until she passed away peacefully with me by her side on the 27th of March 2023. I was able to stay with Mum day and night during her final week and I will forever appreciate how well I was looked after too. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I know my beautiful mum was in the best possible place and I take enormous comfort in knowing how much she was loved by all those who looked after her. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a warm and positive review. It was a pleasure to be able to care for your lovely mum and support you as a family. Your comments mean a great deal to our staff and we will be sure to pass them on. Best wishes.
Although our mother was with you for only one night, the care you supplied was amazing. Everyone we met at the nursing home was very professional and always there to answer any questions.
Thank you for sharing your comments with us; they mean a great deal to the team, and we really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a positive review. Kind regards.
My brother came to Ford Place for end-of-life care. The office staff were all helpful and kind. All the nursing staff were very caring and always willing to help and encourage and give him as much independence as he was capable of. The activities team were always encouraging and supportive. Although my brother's stay was a short one he was comfortable and content. A big thank you to everyone.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Your comments mean so much to the team and it was a pleasure to be able to care for your brother and support you as a family. Best wishes.
My step mum has had a couple of periods of respite care at Ford Place and then moved in full time over the summer. The care has been exceptional, both for her, and the support shown to all her family. My step mum is happy, and comfortable, and is encouraged to do as much as she is able. Her room is warm and homely, and the environment is absolutely beautiful. Having previously worked as a carer, to say I was picky about where we placed her is an understatement- and from the moment I contacted Ford Place I knew that this was indeed a special place. The staff are so friendly and warm, there are lots of activities and places to relax, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thank you, Ford Place.
It is so wonderful to hear how happy your step mum is at Ford Place. Your feedback means a great deal to the whole team and we cannot thank you enough for taking the time to submit such a fabulous review. Warm regards.
The management, nurses and staff all obviously really care that the person they are caring for is looked after as if they are a member of their own family. Unfortunately, I was unable to look after my wife any longer, as she has complex medical issues. After a deep discussion with my daughter and her immediate family, we decided it would be beneficial for her to go into a top-quality nursing home, fortunately, we picked Ford Place. The care is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. The accommodation is better than you expect and the grounds are lovely. Thanks to Ford Place.
Your comments mean a great deal to the team at Ford Place, thank you for taking the time out of your day to share them with us. Kind regards.
I have many sweet and wonderful memories of Ford Place Nursing Home! This home is beautifully located along the river and the rooms were spacious and lovely. My mum received the most outstanding care from all the staff. We were so well looked after as a whole family, made to feel welcome and able to visit any time we wanted. I loved the affection shown, the respectful tenderness of all the staff and their interest in Mum as they came to interact with her no matter what time of day or night. Mum was always asked about her preferences and they were catered for as much as possible. Mum was honoured from the time she arrived until she was escorted out of the front door with such love and respect from the carers. The end-of-life care at this home is outstanding, it was like the carers held each of our hands - Mum and us as a family as we walked out her last days. Our gratitude from us as a family cannot ever be fully conveyed, thank you to all at Ford Place Nursing Home!
We cannot thank you enough for taking the time to share your experience of the care provided to your dear mum at Ford Place Nursing Home. Your kind words and wonderful feedback mean a great deal to the team. We are so pleased to have been able to care for your mum and support you all as a family. Best wishes.
My mum's last few weeks of life were treasured times for our family because of the wonderful staff and carers at Ford Place - who truly looked after her with such compassion, tenderness, and love - we knew she was in good and trusted hands. Not only did they care for our mum, but that same care and compassion was extended to our international tribe that came in and out of those doors every day for 2 months. Mum's room was lovely and bright - she loved to wake up early each morning and enjoy her hot cup of tea as the sun rose and she could hear all the birds outside her window. We could not have asked for a more lovely place for us to walk this hard road alongside our mum. Thank you to all the staff for going the extra mile each day - our family will be forever grateful.
What a lovely review. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide such warm and positive feedback, staff will be so touched by your words. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to care for your mum and support you all as a family. Best wishes.
Mum was in Ford Place for her last two months, and I cannot express enough gratitude to the entire team at Ford Place for their professional, compassionate care of my mum, they really did go the extra mile to make her as comfortable as possible from beginning to end. They provided the same incredible support to us as a family through this time, they are a very special group of people.
Thank you for leaving us such a warm, positive review. Your kind words mean a great deal to the team and we are so pleased to have been able to care for your mum and support you as a family. Kind regards.
Thank you to everyone at Ford Place for taking such good, professional care of my mother during her six month stay. She was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy and thoroughly enjoyed absorbing herself in the variety of daily activities available and trips out. She made lots of new friends and told me often how kind and helpful everyone was towards her and how hard they worked to make her feel at home. I can't thank the manager, staff and nurses enough for everything they did to make her final months as happy, comfortable and fun for her as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ford Place to anyone carefully choosing the best place for a loved one in need of excellent professional care.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review. Your lovely feedback means so much to everyone at the home. We are so pleased to have been able to care for your mother and support you as a family. Best wishes.
My husband spent his last eight days in Ford Place. Before I was worried about how he would be there, however, you can't wish for a better place to end your life. His room was very comfortable and clean. All staff were so kind, polite and professional. I wish to say thanks a lot for looking after my dear husband in his last days.
We cannot thank you enough for taking the time to share your positive comments with us. Your feedback means so much to the staff and we are so pleased to have been able to care for your husband and support you too. All the best.
My mother stayed at Ford Place for eight months and during that time she was cared for with kindness and respect. The home is very well led by the Management Team and the staff work tirelessly to ensure all the residents are well cared for. We decided after much soul searching to move my mother to be nearer to her family - just a shame I couldn't move Ford Place. Thank you all for looking after my mother so well.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review. Your kind words and positive comments mean a great deal to the team and it was a pleasure to care for your mother and support you as a family. Best wishes.

I cannot praise Ford Place highly enough. They gave outstanding care to me, my sister-in-law and end of life care. She was only with them for a short period, but she was cared for so well and had everything she needed. Ford Place is a happy, clean and well run nursing home with marvellous staff. We can't thank them enough. My sister-in-law passed with dignity in a peaceful place. Thank you all.
