The experienced team work hard to create a caring and supportive community for residents and their loved ones. There is always something to look forward to with a schedule of resident-led activities and outings.
Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

All workers at the home are so friendly and happy. They always speak and wave to the residents and to the visitors as well. Visitors are always asked if they want tea or coffee and how they want it made. Residents are very well looked after and asked if they want to participate in craft work, dancing or singing. My mum is taken to Church, which she really loves, and is taken good care of when she is outside of the home. My mum is very happy there and loves doing the things they do there which she never did at home. There is nowhere better for her.

I have found Oak Manor to be a first-class home. The staff are caring, and responsive to the needs of the residents, and nothing seems to be too much trouble. They all go about their work with a smile on their faces and a desire to make the lives of the residents as fulfilling as possible. The administrative staff are also most helpful, so all questions are immediately answered, and any special requests are dealt with. Overall, I could not wish for my wife to be in a better environment.

I am very pleased and relieved that my mum is a resident at Oak Manor after a prolonged stay in the hospital. In the short time since her admission, she has become much more settled, which is a testament to the kind and knowledgeable staff, who have all been excellent in making her comfortable and welcome. I have been a regular visitor and have always been greeted warmly, and nothing has been too much trouble. The management and nursing team are excellent in their breadth and depth of knowledge, which is reassuring as my mum can have erratic behaviours due to dementia. This level of support and care runs through the home, which really feels like a "home". Thank you, Oak Manor.

I’ve always wanted to work in care – it is my passion, and I feel extremely fortunate to be the home manager at Oak Manor.
I began my career in care by volunteering at a nursing home, and I loved every second of care home life. As I became a senior carer, I decided I would fulfil my dream of becoming a nurse, studying adult nursing and gaining a first-class degree. As a qualified nurse, I drive the highest standards of person-centred care. Although I love being a nurse, I also love being a manager, with the ability to influence positive change, which I get great satisfaction from.
Getting to know the people we care for, seeing them happy and improving their lives holistically is one of my greatest motivations. Our residents must always be the centre of all we do. When residents choose to make Oak Manor their home, every day will remain just as they like it, with careful note taken of their preferences, from waking times to food choices, hobbies and interests.
We are here for you and your loved ones every step of the way to help, and we will do all we can to put our residents and their families at ease. The most important thing is that they are happy.
