I was brought here having difficulties at home. It is a wonderful place. I have an excellent room from which I can walk out (when patio door is open) and look at the gorgeous flowers.

From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by the lady on the desk and made to feel welcome in the home by all the staff.

The care and attention provided by the well-trained, dedicated staff is very good. Equipment is maintained and certified regularly.
Very good facilities are available - carpet bowls, quizzes, outdoor visits and a bar. Family and friends get a warm welcome. Apart from inadequate staff being available at peak periods, I find that the service is everything that one can reasonably expect.
The home is clean and the staff are helpful and polite. Sometimes slow if they are busy. I understand there are activities most days but I haven't experienced them.

Alice Grange has provided our family with an excellent service. Starting when my mother moved in two years ago and continuing when my father became a resident last year. My mother receives nursing care, but the attention she receives goes way above that simple description. All staff are friendly,...
My father is a resident on the 2nd floor of Alice Grange, essentially being provided with everything apart from nursing care, which he doesn't need at this stage. But there is still that level of care to ensure he is OK. As a first step away from independent living, Alice Grange has been fantastic for him.
I am pleasantly surprised by the standard of room, food and care provided.

Alice Grange Care Home staff have been very welcoming and supportive. They have made great efforts to get to know my mother as she has been very happy staying there. We have known several other homes and Alice Grange Care Home stands out as the best we have experienced by a long way.

My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's disease. She has been to two care homes before and has not settled. Alice Grange has been excellent. The staff provide consistent and kindly care. They have taken the trouble to get to know her and they excuse her trying behaviour with good humour and fondness.

From what we have seen of Kesgrave we are very impressed with the home, it is very clean and well looked after with the home. It is very clean and well looked after. We met a lady yesterday and today who has been very kind to us and made us very welcome. We both cannot speak highly enough of Kesgrave and are very happy that my sister-in-law is privileged to be here.
Staff always cheerful and reactive.

The care of my aunt seems to be satisfactory - obviously being in a home is not like being at home but this seems to be a good solution as possible for the care of a 102 year old.

I am the General Manager of Alice Grange. Inspiring and leading the onsite team and ensuring high standards of governance and compliance are my responsibility for overall service.
Over the last 14 years, I have had the privilege of serving the healthcare sector by managing and leading frontline care services for our elderly population. I have come into contact with many individuals who have willingly shared their life experiences and wisdom. This has reinforced my sense of duty and heightened my level of respect for our elders.
My passion is person-centred care. I truly believe in the values of responsibility, integrity, kindness, compassion and doing what we can do for others. I love to see my residents happy with full smiles on their faces, content and having a quality of life whilst in our care.
The team and I are fully committed to embedding the core principles of empathy, care, compassion and integrity in the Alice grange community.
My door is always open: do not hesitate to come and talk to me, should you need anything.

I have recently accepted the role of Deputy Manager and am very proud to be able to continue to work with the team at Alice Grange.
I love my role here and I am fortunate to have a hardworking team that sees the residents as extended family. I enjoy taking the time to learn as much as possible about each new resident from their families and themselves.
I am very proud of our recent CQC inspection result as I know it reflects the great care that we provide at Alice Grange.

Hello, my name is Rashmi.
I worked as a carer from 2010 and then qualified as an RGN in 2013. I have always worked in Dementia Care through a number of different settings including hospitals and other care homes.
I started working at Alice Grange in 2020 and I love it here. Barchester care homes have much better facilities and people than many other settings. The management and staff here work really well together and it means this is a brilliant home to work in.
I am now privileged to be part of the team on our Memory Lane community, where we strive to make sure that each resident feels at home and that each family knows their loved one is being looked after by truly caring professionals.

Joined on December 2022 with Alice Grange team. Worked with NHS and had various experiences with finance. At present, enjoying working with the Alice Grange and of course with the resident and family.

I love being part of the Alice Grange team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting, and varied activities available every week. I always feel that the importance of residents' input into our weekly planner is important giving all residents equal opportunity to explore new interests as well as keeping up with previous interests and hobbies.

Hello, my name is Emily and I am a Senior Carer here at Alice Grange. I have been working at Alice Grange since 2014 and I love my job.
I work in care because supporting people to live their fullest possible life is very rewarding. At Alice Grange, I have been privileged to work with a dedicated team who supported me to win Carer of the Year at the 2016 Care Awards.
One of the best parts of my job is welcoming new residents, getting to know them and working together to achieve their goals.

Hello,
My name is Titus, I am the head chef at Alice Grange. I started working here over 11 years ago. I am responsible for the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and dining, including training, ordering, and menu planning. I like to find out residents' likes and dislikes. After lunch, you will find me chatting with residents and visitors to get their feedback about our food and service.
Individual nutrition and dietary needs are especially important to me and I take great pride in knowing that the food we serve helps improve residents' well-being here at Alice Grange.

As Resident Ambassador, Margaret provides invaluable insight and perspective from a residents point of view on the day to day management in the home.
Margaret befriends new residents to help make the transition to life in our home as friendly as possible by introducing herself to them on their first day and offering to show them around, accompany them for dinner and to activities.
Margaret is a fantastic advocate for our home.
