I have visited several friends in different care homes all of which are not a patch on Alice Grange. Everything about it is absolutely perfect. The staff are always there but in the background. Unobserved by me but always there when needed.

I am perfectly satisfied in all respects. The reason I have not given the activities rating is that I am writing a book and prefer to use my time on my computer.

My husband was bought here from hospital immediately the first impressions were great. Lovely decor, warm and very clean. The staff welcomed my husband and myself and very quickly attended to his needs. His comfort was paramount to all staff.

Alice Grange Care Home has the most caring staff that are kind, caring and listen and respond. My husband, even though terminal, is extremely happy at Alice Grange Care Home

The care, love and attention given to me by all members of the care team and management were always outstanding. The amazing staff helped me in the most possible way. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, from the lady who runs Barchester Alice Grange Care Home, the lady that fills up the coffee and the nurses and care staff, they are all just lovely. Thank you for everything!

We have been really pleased with the level of care that Alice Grange has been able to deliver for my very poorly wife. All the staff work tirelessly to ensure that all my wife's needs are met. When issues arrive and staff are made aware they are very quick to find solutions and do not ignore requests or concerns as previous homes we have been to have done in the past. All the residents seem happy and relaxed which, we feel, is down to the cheerful, positive attitudes of the carers. The activities provided are well-planned and appropriate with excellent variety. The staff are really enthusiastic and engage the residents effectively. The food is excellent.

I spent ten days at Alice Grange for respite care after knee surgery. I was very impressed with the standard of care I received. The staff were very friendly, caring and supportive.
My room was spacious and very comfortable.
There was a good choice of meals available. It was only on the Sunday that I felt the staff were rather stretched.

I would be more than happy to visit again should the need arise and would recommend it to my friends.

This review relates solely to the efforts of the activities coordinator and her team went to make my Mum’s 100th birthday party a memorable occasion. This was in spite of the difficulties created by the Covid outbreak in the home and the heat. I am sure that when Mum has had time to reflect on the day’s events, she will realise what hard work and commitment the staff have made. A big thank you also goes to the chefs for making the cakes and catering for the family lunch.

Dad entered the care home in April 2021 and was met with smiling faces which was good as he was very apprehensive about going. He settled in well and received excellent care. I speak regularly to the manager and along with other staff, I find them very helpful and friendly. I'm glad I brought my dad to Alice Grange.

I was made very welcome and I was able to bring my own bed, chair and books. This made the move much less difficult for me. The staff were very understanding and have really made a massive difference to my well-being. They are kind and helpful and they are good people and know the best for me.

Alice Grange is an excellent care home with professional staff and management. My grandmother is a patient here, and upon visiting her, we can see that she really enjoys her stay and is really well taken care of. Our family has inquired about various care homes, and only Alice Grange met our qualifications.
