I am the General Manager of Alice Grange. Inspiring and leading the onsite team and ensuring high standards of governance and compliance are my responsibility for overall service.

Over the last 14 years, I have had the privilege of serving the healthcare sector by managing and leading frontline care services for our elderly population. I have come into contact with many individuals who have willingly shared their life experiences and wisdom. This has reinforced my sense of duty and heightened my level of respect for our elders.

My passion is person-centred care. I truly believe in the values of responsibility, integrity, kindness, compassion and doing what we can do for others. I love to see my residents happy with full smiles on their faces, content and having a quality of life whilst in our care.

The team and I are fully committed to embedding the core principles of empathy, care, compassion and integrity in the Alice grange community.

Hello, my name is Grace and I have worked at Alice Grange as one of the Senior Nurses since 2012.

I have recently accepted the role of Deputy Manager and am very proud to be able to continue to work with the team at Alice Grange.

I love my role here and I am fortunate to have a hardworking team that sees the residents as extended family. I enjoy taking the time to learn as much as possible about each new resident from their families and themselves.

Hello, my name is Rashmi.

I worked as a carer from 2010 and then qualified as an RGN in 2013. I have always worked in Dementia Care through a number of different settings including hospitals and other care homes.

I started working at Alice Grange in 2020 and I love it here. Barchester care homes have much better facilities and people than many other settings. The management and staff here work really well together and it means this is a brilliant home to work in.

My name is Titus, I am the head chef at Alice Grange. I started working here over 11 years ago. I am responsible for the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and dining, including training, ordering, and menu planning. I like to find out residents' likes and dislikes. After lunch, you will find me chatting with residents and visitors to get their feedback about our food and service.

Hi, my name is Keith Whatmore, I am the Head of Maintenance at Alice Grange. My role is to ensure that the home is always in tiptop condition.

Since joining the team I have also taken on the role of Health & Safety Champion. It is my duty to keep the building in good repair and ensure everyone’s safety.

Margaret befriends new residents to help make the transition to life in our home as friendly as possible by introducing herself to them on their first day and offering to show them around, accompany them for dinner and to activities.
