Kingfisher House Care Home

My mother-in-law seems to be happy and is far more sociable. She takes part in nearly all activities and had made friends with other residents and members of staff. It is good that she is now less lonely and enjoys a more active lifestyle. This gives the family peace of mind, knowing that she is well cared for and now has around-the-clock oversight.

Mum was in this care home for nearly two years she loved the activities and people that cared for her. The home has changed so much for the better, Mum passed away in May and I would like to thank everyone who looked after Mum.

From our first visit, we have been made to feel welcome, the care my mother-in-law receives is superb. The staff are always friendly and smiling. It's always a pleasure to visit and to know she is well looked after means we rest in the knowledge she is in good hands.

My dear mum is happy at Kingfisher, she has made friends and the care staff love her very much, so for myself it's very rewarding to see mum well looked after.

This is a great home with fantastic staff who look after everybody fantastically. There are always great things going on.

I would recommend Kingfisher without any hesitation.

I find the staff at Kingfisher House excellent with the care of my mum who has dementia. The effort two staff members in particular put in to include as many as possible in activities is unbelievable. Nothing but huge gratitude to them and the rest of the staff for doing so much to care for and occupy my mum and the other residents.

The whole building and the grounds need money spending on them as they are looking tired and outdated.

The staff are incredibly hard-working and pleasant to my father-in-law when we visit. You are welcome and it is a lovely atmosphere.

The team have worked so hard to help mum get back out of bed following a hospital admission 2 months ago. Their sensitive care and contact attention means she is finally well enough to sit out of bed. We have been for a 'walk' in the garden, watched the birds and had dinner in the dining room. It's a start and really cheered Mum up. Thank you.

Staff are approachable and able to answer questions or direct me to the person I needed to speak to.
